  1. from OBD personnel manual found in dumpster draft CB and RB every year let Pro Bowl RB go because of "attitude" watch Pro Bowl RB win SB on new team let Pro Bowl calibre CB go to division rival and draft his cheaper replacement Bring in developmental or veteran retread QB and convince fan base he is a franchise QB
  2. Platinum - Pre Hope Gold - Early Hope Silver - Waning Hope Bronze - No Hope
  3. I'd rather not be insulted with a day 3 QB
  4. roll left and run left every play
  5. perhaps we'll have lots to say about him now that we're too chicken to draft a legit QB prospect
  6. the OP wasn't born yet when men were men
  7. QB is the whole problem. I've been a season ticket holder for 12 years
  8. we will never live it down
  9. I don't have too many next years left
  10. How the fan base is supposed to have hope without a QB prospect I have no idea
  11. apparently after we become the Oakland Bills
  12. "Davis Webb's agent wants to know why you didn't pick up." "I didn't hear my ringtone" "This isn't a cell" "Oh"
  13. this team has stumbled around in the darkness since Bill Polian left. Any good times we had at games were in spite of not because of Ralph
  14. if only he had died on Easter weekend then we could accuse United of killing the Easter bunny
  15. is it too early for Tight End/Wide Receiver jokes?
  16. Show Me The Baby...because the adults abandoned this team a long time ago Where Would You Rather Be? On 2nd thought don't answer that It's Just So Hard To Win in The NFL - and we can prove it!
  17. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000802432/article/information-wars-how-teams-get-the-real-draft-intel I'm guessing our best info networks are at Clemson and Florida State
  18. he screams gadget player like CJ Spiller
  19. I don't think McCoach is stupid or at least he has not yet proven so in the court of 2BD. He knows that his fate is tied to getting a good QB. This year might be our best chance. While QB is not our number one need right now it will be very important in the contract years when Terry and Kim decide whether or not to re-up McDermott. Whatever QB we draft will have two years of clipboard holding behind TT. Drafting a QB now will set us up nicely for the post TT years. It doesn't have to be in the first but IMO any QB picked later than round two is a cop out. I'd say DB is our # 1 need but if this draft is as deep as we're told it doesn't need to be addressed at #1. If Kouandijo prefers communing with nature in his birthday suit to OTAs we may need to spend high picks at OL as well.
  20. might be a safer pick than Jonathan Allen's surgically repaired shoulders
  21. No cheerleaders and nothing to cheer about. Ralph may be gone but the mediocrity lives on.
  22. if we go WR at 10 I'll storm OBD
  23. if we can negotiate his contract down he wouldn't be a bad option. Did Dennison not coach him in Denver? I think we might be looking at a Rich Gannon / Jim Plunkett situation here where a guy can succeed in the right circumstances
  24. If we get a name guy in he 2nd I won't balk but NFL history shows that only the 85 Bears and 2000 Ravens made it on defense alone. The rest of SB history is written with great QBs
