  1. Gosh you're right. Cap space is set in Carbonite and can't be changed whatsoever. Maybe your absolutes are useless.
  2. 12, 22, next year's first and Jerry Hughes.
  3. We do seem to like repeating ourselves of late don't we?
  4. Top 5 pick. Book it.
  5. This guy is an instigator and a troll. Time to block!
  6. 26 posts and already in a death spiral. It's a privilege to post to this board, don't flame out so quickly.
  7. My guess is that Jackson may just be where we end up. Even so, we'll likley need to use pick 12 to do it. He may not grade out to that high a pick but you just have to overpay for a QB these days.
  8. I agree. The moves so far were for many good and solid reasons. It doesn't change the fact that Beane is in a QB jam right now and let's see how he solves it.
  9. And nothing I said disputes that and nothhing you say changes the reality of my post. If we can't crack the top five for a QB, Beane knows that ultimately his job rests on solving the QB issue. We all hope for his success and a solid plan B for this year if moving up can't happen.
  10. Good lord get real. We don't need crap like that on this board. I'd do cartwheels to have Watson, Cam, Wilson, Jamais or Dak. Christ what's wrong with you.
  11. Who can forget that are then GM Marv Levy said instead of changing the quarterback let's get better around the quarterback. How'd that work out?
  12. This. If we use history as a guideline, fans feel we're heading to yet another era of a quarterback abyss. After such a flash of competence we've seen from the FO, this Jets move is a bitter pill that many will need to process and to vent. It's like George Patton said, a good soldier bitches.
  13. QB is fundamental. Other positions are plentiful. Build them around the QB.
  14. And you don't win with mediocrity at QB. The past 20 years should tell you that.
  15. The best prospects will be gone by pick 5. If we can't crack that, we sort through the seconds and hope for the best or trust Beane knows his future is dependent on getting the QB right. 20 years without a franchise QB has taken its toll. All the impressive process we've seen, and it has been Impressive, ultimately will mean little if we can't fix the QB position.
  16. Voice to text. So you're sold on our present QBs? Going to take us to the next level? AJ couldn't unseat a mid tier starter.
  17. Obviously trade up. And neither you nor I know what they did in that regard. What they we're willing to give up or not. All we know is we got leapfrogged. There's still a shot at #2. How realistic that is now is anyone's guess. If we're boxed out for whatever reason, it's no surprise to anyone that this FO will be judge almost soley on the success of filling that position. Maybe Beane doesn't value this group as much as others do. We have to trust he's got a plan B.
  18. I get it, but it's not just Beane's call anymore. If the Jints see this as a once in a decade chance to get a franchise QB, then nothing's going to move them. So it's gonna take two.
  19. Wow, the Bills were involved. Nobody has any idea what that means it what was offered. Until we do, it's moot. Maybe there's nothing we could have done, we don't know. But pardon me for not being excited for a year of AJ McCarron and Nathan Peterson.
  20. I agree, that's why I wanted one of the top three rated quarterbacks in his quarterback rich draft.
