  1. If you watched the Colts destroy our D in the 4th with two consecutive TD drives (one under 3 mins and one under 2 mins) then this is not a dumb thread. Consistently giving up 3rd and longs and 4th and longs was brutal to watch. I know this board loves Tremaine as the "modern coverage MLB" but his has been, and still is, a major liability stopping the run. On screens and dump offs he is regularly owned by the OL and cannot shed a block. Milano is active but small. He got pushed around engaged. I think more of Klein yesterday would have helped on run stuff and blitzes.
  2. Defense. Good lord dreadful. Giving up a TD in the 4th quarter in under 3 mins followed by giving up a other in under 2 mins was horrendous. The inability to get them off the field on 3rd and 4th downs was unbelievable. Zero pass rush and no ability to cover any of their TEs. This is not a SB D and our only hope is Josh outscoring everyone. If the D would have made them work for a 5 or 6 min TD it wouldn't have been the nailbiter it was.
  3. I'd be concerned with Williams in pass pro. He's the change of pace back for power, but PS to the playoffs is a big damn leap.
  4. Milano, Tremaine, Tre, don't matter, we have nobody on this team that can cover a decent TE. The Colts' TEs feasted today.
  5. Well that works if you can generate pressure with 4 DL and an occasional blitz, and they did all day.
  6. Boy Beane got it right on that pick. Two rooks, Davis and Bass were fundamental to this win. (Add Moss to that)
  7. Have to think again. Their TEs ate us alive. Gonna have to be without Moss. Huge loss.
  8. This game pointed out the need for an edge that can actually get pressure on a QB and someone, anyone, that can actually cover a TE. The Bills haven't covered TEs for 20 years.
  9. And this nails it. I am exhausted. I had 800 steps on my fitbit before the game. It's now at 9600. I'm hoarse as hell
  10. Huge loss for us. He's been a horse of late.
  11. This is spot on. I don't expect a blow out. Tough, hard fought game that the Bills win 27 - 20.
  12. No real easy games coming up. Indy has a great ground game (I think their RB had <250 yds today) and solid D. But I like our match up here. It's confusing, I'm still used to concentrating on the draft this time of year.
  13. They should follow NFL protocol, wash hands, sing the happy birthday song twice doing so, and then shake. 😊
  14. I have followed this team since day one. And the way I survived most of it is looking forward, not backward. And that's what I am doing now. Enjoy this ride lords and ladies, they don't come around that often.
  15. Seemed a fitting end to 2020 and reflective of the country. That said, both universities should have some serious repercussions for this. Embarrassing and unacceptable.
  16. That's a fair take. I think what is driving the discussion now is the Milano question. It seems to be shaping up as an either or decision between the two.
  17. Right, I did a poor job of agreeing with him, which I do. Too many postings going on at once!
  18. Those numbers and the absolute mastery of the position make him impossible to ignore. Yes he has God-given speed and talent but more impressive is his discipline and regimen - both are unequaled. Watch him when he doesn't get the ball. He's 100% in every play. What a difference maker.
  19. I don't disagree that Tremaine's far and away the best option we have in the middle. I think we disagree on how much value he brings for the money and cap hit he will take to resign. If he had Kuechly-like impact it would be a no-brainer. But so far he just hasn't.
  20. Also coincides with changing up the D to accommodate Klein's game and improvements in our 1 Tech play, along with Leslie finally reverting back to our attacking scheme. It was hardly a one guy turnaround.
  21. "Mental midget" is harsh. He's not stupid. I'd say he's self-absorbed and almost delusional, which as his abilities erode, make him more and more an ass clown.
