Nope. Week one had the Phins on alert for it and likely they overplayed it allowing for other opportunities. I think week one was all about giving teams something to worry about with Josh running - because they should worry about it. Thought I'd see him take off near the goal line but liked what he did instead!
We're going to need a good ground game against some of the quality teams we're going to see this year - particularly the Pats. BB is going to pull that cover zero and blitz Josh from a dozen different angles, which has been effective against Josh. He won't have forever and day to pass like he did the last two weeks. Constant pressure makes any QB look ordinary ( as we've seen with Brady) so I'd like to see Motor get going. In the meanwhile, watching JA sling the rock and dropping dimes as has been uber satisfying. Can't say enough about Diggs. Wow.
Mea culpa. I was so bitter when they chose Allen over Rosen. It upset my week with several rants. I said you can't teach accuracy. Watching him drop dimes today and last week makes me realize how little I know. Sign Beane long term and then Milano!
Right, Steph would have said "I'm worth too much coin to tackle anybody bigger than me."
Gwynn was a class act. One of the players I respected most. Tre is on that path.
No, you have to have patience. Knox's rookie year is not far off of Ertz's. Errz developed, albeit in year two, but that's where Knox is heading. Great players grow so let's see what we have in Knox before dropping $80 mil on a near 30 year old.
Agree, that and cap savings sealed it. I was fearing another Gary Anderson situation where we let a hall-of-famer get away. Let's hope the kid comes through when it counts.
