Reading Joe B's All 22, confirmed what I saw. Our middle OL had zero push in the run game and was pushed around by the base KC DL. Chris Jones abused Mongo and Morse and Clark did likewise to Darryl Williams. We need OL to progress.

Add center, guard, speed RB and maybe Rt. Our middle OL is just bad.

Who said 1sr rounder? We need a MLB, a 1Tech and a pass rusher to advance. On O, we need a center, a guard (maybe 2), RT and a speed RB. A better TE would be nice. With all those needs pick the BPA in the first round. You and I disagree on shrugging off the D and think we can just outscore everyone. KC has a Top 10 D and their D line abused our middle OL with just 4 down linemen, allowing for 6 DBs. That's why we lost.

Not mocking, just equaling your fervor on disagreement. We at not a top ten D, we are ranked 16th. KC was slowed down by better Ds this season. We made them unstoppable with a soft zone no rush and zero ability to cover TEs, at which we are the worst in the league. KC has a better D and they are the better team. And ask the Packers how they made out against the Tampa D.

Disagree, totally disagree. You need to be able to make a stop a few times a game and slow their roll. You just can't suck. A tough D will slow down KC. We just sucked.

They made him drop way too much weight coming into camp. A 1st year under his belt and an off-season to put on some muscle and he will be solid next year. Still need a speed rusher to complement him. And BTW if we had "more defense" this year we wouldn't have gotten B slapped in the title game.

I agree with this. But I'm with the OP on the rest of his summation. Our DLine needs an infusion of size, power and talent.

Agree, I am just saying Beane will fill that spot cost effectively. Motor is a depth back. Moss and some speed and we'll be fine.

White was toasted all day but Hill and Kelce. We could use a better man CB and safeties need to be upgraded. I am not a fan of our LBs at all.

Our D needs big help, we need a OL help so I don't see Beane dropping big coin on a RB. KC didn't get much out of their backfield today but didn't need to. Take away their big sweep and it was a pretty pedestrian run game for them. With Davis hurt and Smoke shot, Josh had nobody open.

And this is the bottom line. 3 straight TD drives by KC and we respond with a FG. Really bad calls by McD.
