With Pettine's defense, Josh Allen will attempt just one pass and McCoy will have 425 yards on 25 carries. He doesn't need to be a profliic passer this week until Pettine shows he can shut down a running game. Any running game for that matter. -

I'll say it again, his coaches aren't good coaches. They should have that sort of crap down on lock. If the head coach has to run over to restore order, that's a problem. -

They moved from on-premises to 100% central baking in the mid-90s when they started making prospective owners buy whole territories, not just one shop. I recall reading about the decison making process in a book about decision making because it was 100% about efficiency and making as big as a footprint as you can in the shortest amount of time. The stores needed so much product, the central bakeries were running 24/7, something they couldn't depend on an individual store to do. There are good franchise owners and there are bad ones and the only way to gurantee consistent product is to centralize all the complexity. -
I'd offer men cheat out of loneliness, primarily, not sex. The older you get, the less friends the modern male tends to have. Once the kids and mortgage come along and the job with long hours, the Mrs. no longer sees you as that hot man but the necessary means to the end of making money, mowing lawn, etc. A man can be surrounded by lots of people and feel quite isolated. In the old days, men would leave work and hang out at the bar for a few hours or join a social club or participate in things like a bowling league or game/fish club. Today, most men are more isolated - they work out alone, do activities alone, do yard work alone or surrounded by the wife and kids 24/7. The question that I wish that "research" looked into was if the cheaitng men had any sort of their "own" social circle with their own hobbies. I'd guess they do not and I'd hypothesize that men with the more active social circle have less inclination to cheat because life feels a little more fulfilling and active.

Agreed. I read about the corporate decision to consolidate the baking facilities. They knew before they made the decision it'd decrease quality and customers would complain but they have a near geographic monopoly on that fast food niche of coffee and doughnuts so they thought customers would get over it. Considering they are one of the few franchises that never seems to take a downturn in building new locations and are recession proof, you'd have to admit they were right. -

Hollywood is *filled* with Bill Cosby types. If even 25% of the predators were ever brought to justice, it'd burn that industry to the ground. -
Someone at the Sirius Yacht Rock desk just forwarded their master scheme to have it blast worldwide on every device for one hour, uninterrupted. I kid but IMO, satellite radio has forwarded music appreciation more than a music teacher could dream to do. It gives you the opportunity to listen to music you've never been exposed to before.

I happened to be at this game (Colts v Eagles). The weather was lousy. It rained steadily up until the 4th quarter. The field was pretty bad at that point. Both teams were playing the dink and dunk the entire game. I think he was taken out so he wouldn't get injured on a last, arguably desperate play. Luck looked ok to me but he threw a lot of passes that game - 40 because the Colts running game is weak. Not as many as his first game but you got the impression Eric Ebron had like 250 catches during the game.

I don't think it's the end of NE this year but I think what you do see is system fatigue. Regardless of outcome, I think the 2018-2019 is the last year of the Brady era. He looks bored, Gronk both slow and bored. Team lacks focus. I don't think Josh Gordon is going to amount to anything spectacular in NE. He's JAG until proven otherwise. -

Zone sucks in basketball. It equally sucks in football. The quiick, accurate quarterbacks of today shred the hell out of a zone scheme like Tampa 2. Too many little gaps an experienced QB will find. I know it's been a while since Jim Schwartz was here but his man coverage scheme is the opposite. The man coverage buys the time for your rush to get home. -
Since restaurants have declared war on straws, the next front will be war on take home containers. You have some leftovers? You'll have to bring your own containers to the restaurant. At this point, only only then, will the Americans who eat out literally ever night of the week hemmoreging money for lousy food will have an epiphany - it's easier to eat at home.

I think the original concept was they were friends. It's just convenient now to label them gay. It's ironic the outfits in society most sensitive to labeling can't help but break out that label maker. Can't wait for someone to be outraged by the sexual conotation of the pinball animation with background vocals by the Pointer Sisters. 1-2-3-4....5-6-7-8-9-10....11-TWWEEEEEELVE ..or how Teeny Little Super Guy is oppressed and needs pro bono representation in court agianst the oppressor who owns the kitchen. -

Yes. As a father, you will come to find those moments in your quiet home after your son or daughter go "home" after the visit, the most soul crushing quiet you'll ever experience. It's so abrupt too. The only people who say "kids will be fine" in a divorce are those that never have been through it or in denial of their responsibility for unleashing it upon their children. It changes every single one of you. You become a part-time father. Your wife enters "single mother" status and your children now face a future of meeting various boyfriends, girlfriends and home always being two places, not one. You all become statistics. My honest and heartfelt advice to you as a divorcee who had a very straightforward, amicable divorce is unless you're chasing each other around the house with an ax or there is something serious amiss (drug problem, abuse), take the time to work it out. Give you and your spouse the gift of patience. I look back and wish we had cooler heads to do just that. -

It's not a bad choice but it's clear that the NFL office in charge of Super Bowl halftime shows believes demographic reports about it's audience is "fake news." -
My impression of him is he's just as lazy as Rex Ryan but gets a pass because he's one of the few minority coaches in the NFL. Both the NFL and the media are interested in having more minority coaches so they instead write articles about how a rookie coach who took a team to the playoffs in just his first season is the somehow "most likely" to be the first fired this season.
