Yes. As a father, you will come to find those moments in your quiet home after your son or daughter go "home" after the visit, the most soul crushing quiet you'll ever experience. It's so abrupt too. The only people who say "kids will be fine" in a divorce are those that never have been through it or in denial of their responsibility for unleashing it upon their children. It changes every single one of you. You become a part-time father. Your wife enters "single mother" status and your children now face a future of meeting various boyfriends, girlfriends and home always being two places, not one. You all become statistics. My honest and heartfelt advice to you as a divorcee who had a very straightforward, amicable divorce is unless you're chasing each other around the house with an ax or there is something serious amiss (drug problem, abuse), take the time to work it out. Give you and your spouse the gift of patience. I look back and wish we had cooler heads to do just that.

My impression of him is he's just as lazy as Rex Ryan but gets a pass because he's one of the few minority coaches in the NFL. Both the NFL and the media are interested in having more minority coaches so they instead write articles about how a rookie coach who took a team to the playoffs in just his first season is the somehow "most likely" to be the first fired this season.

All good things... The ending is never pretty. In the world of possibilities, BB, Brady and Gronkowski could all retire in the same offseason. I have absolutely no doubt of New England's strategy going forward - they will tank that decidedly average team deliberately for a season to get themselves Brady 2.0 and clear the decks for cap space and the NFL won't complain. They will then roll out the "new" Patriots with new uniforms and all of New England will be happy.

Since they essentially made all the Predator movies "count" with the ending, you could legitimately build an Avengers squad ranging from Arnold and Danny Glover (Predators 1 & 2), Adrian Brody and and Alice Braga (Predators), Sanaa Lathan (Alien vs. Predator) and the couple nobodys that survived Aliens vs. Predator 2. You could say Stallone stole the Expendables idea from Predator as at the time, the movie collected nearly all the mid 80s B level tough guys in one film in addition to the star.

Predator wasn't very good. It's not Shane Black's best work. You can certainly tell the studio's heavy hand was involved. Movie is choppy, casting is terrible. Have no idea why Olivia Munn gets roles. If she was any more wooden, she'd be a grandfather clock. If they are going to make the entire series of move canon, it would have been a better story if they cobbled together the survivors of the previous Predator films and built from there.

Firing Castillo and replacing him with a better instructor would go a long way to improve the short term effectiveness of the unit. Talent needs proper instruction. I'd also hire at least two former NFL linemen who have relevant, recent experience - in helping teach guys like Groy who's learning on the job.

One guy can't catch footballs and the other can't stay sober enough to catch footballs. I wish Madden would put these variables in their game to reduce fans from "name" bias.

You could argue the Patriots and/or Packers. Sure, teams like the Bills, Browns and Cardinals may have down years but the future looks bright with promising youth at more than just one position. For the Patriots, they are in the twilight of their long period of sustained success. All good things....Their rebuilding is closer at hand with each passing year. The team lacks an identity and stars if you remove the 40+ year old Brady and the often-injured Gronkowski. They haven't drafted well so the team is quite average, filled with niche players. For the Packers, the entire organization lives and dies with the health of Aaron Rodgers. Every season hangs by a thread. When he's injured, the Packers are a terrible team. The Rodgers contract effectively keeps the Packers mediocre for the foreseeable future.

It's the crap Tampa 2 scheme. Night turned into day because it wasn't being used. Frazier's Tampa 2 is an outdated defense, even if you use it as your fundamental base defense. There's so much space that's open with your CBs and your MLB deep in their zones. I know our CBs don't excel at man defense but how about they not back off 10 yards. That worked in the 90s when quarterbacks weren't as accurate or quick and the WCO wasn't as prolific. Any NFL caliber QB is going to massacre a Tampa 2 today. The ends should just be rushing the passer. See quarterback, get quarterback. That's what made Jim Schwartz's defense so prolific in sacks. Mario Williams and Jerry Hughes had one job only. Frazier has the ends monitoring a zone and it's not working. Until the oppossing team proves otherwise, they should be sending Hughes every down and not have him worry about a zone to protect.

He won't be All-Madden come October and the Chiefs will grind to a halt. Just like Fitzmagic, once the defense has enough "tape" to pour over, things go downhill.

If the head coach taking over the defensive play calls at half time isn't a flashing red light the coordinators and unit coaches are a big issue, I'm not sure what is. IMO, the team has been outschemed and outcoached the first two games by a considerable margin. A lack of talent doesn't get you into such a massive hole so quickly by halftime.

Private lot owners will crack down even harder and faster once they find out their signs don't indemnify them 100% from "duty of care" and things like "reasonable care." Nobody wants to be the first lot owner to find out how the jury feels about that.

No. Corey Coleman is another example of a great athlete who's a lousy football player. The Patriots too soon discover Coleman can run really fast but has absolutely no idea on what's happening on the football field.

My hot take on why few teams run no-huddle as a game-long strategy? The teams don't have enough players with the requisite football IQ to do it. Hell, we can't even get the players on the team to execute the plays they've been studying for months.

One of the few benefits to living in Pennsylvania is that the potential for wild nature mayhem is largely confined to snow. Few tornadoes, direct hit hurricanes, mud slides, California-style apocalypic wildfires, earthquakes, etc. The worst Mother Nature has thrown at us this year is Bangladeshian-level downpours and lanternflies.

I think it's 60-40 coaches. I'm sure every player wishes to impose their will on the man opposite them but the preseason games and the All-22 playbacks suggest the offensive linemen have no idea where they are suppossed to be, especially if the defense throws a wrinkle into the play like the Ravens did often on Sunday. The defensive front four are thinking and therefore, hesitating = slow, no rush. The Bills don't play "man" anything. They zone block on offense, play zone on defense and that means knowing areas of responsibility versus just beating your opponent in 1:1 competition. I'm sure Ducasse and Mills are very strong men but they aren't understanding the scheme and I put that on the coaching. Ducasse's scouting report raved about his strength, knocked him for his understanding of blocking technique and scheme. While I think McDermott has shown to be at least an average coach, I think his unit coaches are bad teachers and his loyalty to keeping them around, results notwithstanding, will be his demise - not a poor record. Unit coaches must be good teachers. If I were Beane, that'd be priority #1 - let's get rid of Castillo, find another zone blocking coach and find at least 1-2 serviceable linemen who have worked with it.

Again, many of these plays suggest that the offensive line has no idea where it's suppossed to be or doing, especially if the defense throws a wrinkle. Add a quarterback equally mystified and you have panic and penalties. Coaching, coaching and more coaching. McDermott should fire Juan Castillo immediately. It's just not working.

In regards to MVP Trains, I wasn't singling you out specifically, just a general opine on the the national media lovefest for Mahomes and Fitz after one game. Remember how the Bills always started out strong in September during the drought and then seemingly hit a concrete wall around the fourth game? It's because teams now had game film to analyze for weeks. At that point tendancies, habits and sticking to a script become liabilities. Before long, Mahomes will go to the well one too many times on a predictable route and Fitz's habits will again result in the most ill-timed INTs.

Teams surprise until Week 4 when every team has plenty of "tape" to dissect. That's why I'm not on the Mahomes is Favre! and Fitzpatrick for MVP! fan trains. Biggest surprise IMO: The inability of the Steelers to put away the Browns despite given numerous chances. Biggest Non-Surprise: The Packers are the worst team in the NFL if Aaron Rodgers isn't playing. That entire franchise is one injury from NFL armageddon because the entire game plan and budget *is* Aaron Rodgers.
