Agreed. Sign Kirksey and let Dodson and either matakevich, Hamlin or Lewis go if need be. No reason to let good OL prospects go when have aging starters in Morse and Dawkins at the end of there careers

Only guy I think is a no brainer, “why haven’t we already signed him” guy is Christian Kirksey. He’s an immediate upgrade at our worst position and hopefully pride doesn’t get in the way of Beane/McDermott sticking with the 🤢 Dodson/Bernard combo over bringing in Kirksey

Great points! Hopefully Kirksey signs. Dodson and Matakevich are both at the bottom of the 53 for me as well and I am fine with both not being on roster in order to keep the extra OT (Ifedi) and Kirksey

Agree on the needs. Maybe I’d put MLB as #1 priority and I honestly don’t care enough to trade for a backup QB. If one gets let go that’s a better fit to backup Josh then fine but no reason to trade for one imo. I’ve actually been impressed with boogie this preseason and I think AJE will ball out in his last year before he gets paid somewhere else. Honestly Kirksey may be the play at MLB and I’m ok with that if we can’t get a guy like Lavonte David in a trade for like a 6th round pick. OT I could for sure see us trading for because I don’t think anyone believes in Q and even though we all love Van Demark, I don’t think the FO and coaches are comfortable relying on him right away if Dion or Brown goes down early

Rudolph is garbage and isn’t worth a 7th round 2030 draft pick. Sorry but it’s not worth giving up assets for a guy who is the same level as a guy we already have on the roster (Kyle Allen)

Anderson and Van Demark both need to make it because they’ve earned the spots with their play. They are young and have potential to be future starters. It’s moronic to keep an aging incompetent vet over potential cheap future starters. But this regime usually goes the latter route so I won’t be surprised if we do cut bait and let another team reap the benefits while we kick the tires and more of the same old has beens and never weres lol

Anderson needs to be on our 53. Can’t let him slip through the cracks for a guy like Q

One thing I will say, is that after watching hard knocks at least our offensive line isn’t as bad as the Jets are. We definitely need some answers at tackle now and in the future though

All off-season I was banging the drum on drafting an OT or even 2. I was happy that we got Kincaid and Cyrus but round 3 we dropped the ball again. I like Williams but we knew he was an OLB and had the chance to move up a couple spots for the Clemson MLB Simpson or stay out and take the best OT available. Which by the way the Chiefs took the OT Morris from Oklahoma the very next pick. I love Beane but he has to drop the pride with keeping some of his picks he’s missed on. Dawkins isn’t the same and Brown May never be what he wants him to be. That’s ok but dude have a backup plan. Hopefully he keeps some of the promising undrafted guys like Van Denmark and Alec Anderson and maybe go out and trade one of your many really good DEs we can’t keep like Johnathan or Cline for another diamond in the rough OT

Lol I’m all about that too. Watching the game now and honestly the D just looks out of sync and shape. Even our boy Milano wasn’t very Milano like. Was very impressed with Kincaid and love all the WR weapons stepping up at different times. Hopefully the OT and MLB situation works itself out or Beane makes some magic happen

I’m about to watch the game now on nfl network. How did Howard play at MLB? He looked good in the first preseason game. And if all else fails I like the idea of Rapp being the MLB/S hybrid, McDermott better get them creative juices flowing. Put the best 11 out there

I like Klein as a solid veteran backup but how has that Howard kid played?

I’m going to do some more in depth watching these next couple preseason games but because we play a lot of nickel and not a lot of base 4-3 sets and because outside of Milano the rest of the LBs we have are jags I doubt we keep so many especially since we use a lot of offensive guys on STs so we don’t need to keep subpar LBs. That being said I was impressed with Howard over any of the other LBs in that first preseason game. Very instinctive. I hope Beane and McDermott don’t keep players like Bernard and Shorter over guys who have proved more on the field and in practice. It’s ok to cut your losses and get the best actual fits for our team

Totally get it. I watch a lot of lions and they have something special going on with Campbell and Goff has turned a corner and is a top 3 QB in the NFC. That d is going to be pretty good this year too. Just a gut call but I put $100 on a lions vs Bills SB this year and if it happens I’ll have my SB ticket paid for in Vegas baby lol

Absolutely LOVE the Beane extension and HATE the McDermott extension. Not sure why they had to be a package deal on this. McD was definitely in my mind on a prove it deal this year. Offensive minded coaches would’ve been drooling to get to be the HC of a Josh Allen led franchise I am thoroughly hoping my gut is wrong but McD seems to have petered out on his ceiling with this team. I want him to be successful because he’s a great human being and an amazing leader but when it comes to in game decisions he leaves me lacking. A great offensive minded HC that could keep developing Allen into the someday best QB ever would be ideal because that’s the talent we have with Josh and I don’t want it to be capped off with mediocrity around him. Here’s hoping my gut is wrong and McD and Dorsey have a next level of creativity to make this the perennial Super Bowl team we know it can be
