  1. yup...bye bye heath and leinart...butler not so bad so far but we're going to miss gilmore
  2. I have been playing fantasy for about 10 years and have always tried my best to stay away from pats, jets, and dolphins players but once in a while the value is too great and I have to take a R. Bush (last year) or Gronk (2 years ago)...but the one player I will never take is Tom Brady...Can't root for any of our rivals QBs (Brady being the only fantasy relevant one)! Hasn't hurt me yet as I am on a 5 year playoff streak and won my big money league last year (thank you Rodgers/Cobb)!
  3. Mine from last year was Super Mario's Brothers...won my league with it so got to keep it going. Hopefully he lives up to the name this year
  4. Wear the Byrd jersey as well...Sure hope he signs a long term deal, he's the real deal! If Manuel's play matches his already awesome presence at OBD then he will be my next Jersey as well
  5. YES!!! Love it...someone make this and i'm ordering one for everyone in my family! This kid is special and hard to dislike. Like I've been saying forever Buffalo needs it's own version of Big Ben and I think now we've got him! GO BILLS
  6. Great video! I went just looking for Doug Marrone but man does EJ Manuel just draw you in! No wonder the FO and coaching staff fell in love with him...
  7. I don't think that is correct...You are speculating but what I saw was the AZ cardinals and BUF Bills go up at pretty much the exact same time with there LB picks in Minter and Alonso. I believe that pick was Kiko all along. Not sure on Hunter but I am happy to have Woods in a Bills uniform
  8. I don't think Minter was targeted since we were pretty much on stage at the same time as AZ pick of Minter
  9. Love this draft so far...Big fan of how Nix started out the draft by making a trade down! I wasn't even sure he knew he was allowed to do that (jk)...We get another 2nd rounder and take the guy we were planning on taking all along in EJ Manuel (most potential of any QB in draft...Big Ben 2.0 w/out the rape), next we get a polished WR (woods) who plays like Stevie and not afraid to get dirty down the middle and can CATCH!, We get a nasty LB (kiko) with crazy athleticism, the one question I had was with another speedster WR in Goodwin but after reading up on him I see nothing wrong with the pick (can't wait to see how we use all this speed). For the rest of the draft we've got to stick to BPA. I know we all would like TE and maybe even secondary/offensive line help but I say stick to BPA no matter the position at this point! If QB is the highest rated player on the board then go get him to hold the clipboard. Nothing wrong with more competition and obviously everyone knows EJ is the future franchise QB but would be nice to have a good backup for once (not Tyler Thigpen!)...No one is sold on Kolb/Jackson especially for the next 4+ years
  10. If the board shows bpa is a QB then hell yes you do it! Would prefer to get some secondary help, maybe another pass rusher and TE/Big receiver but only if that's how the board falls...No need to pick a player just to fill a need at this point. We filled a lot of needs with what i'm assuming was also BPA according to our board...lets keep it up. Go BILLS!
  11. Totally agree! My dream (and realistic) scenario would be a trade down and pick up an extra 2nd so we could be comfortable in taking our biggest needs in the first 3 rounds in QB, WR, LB and TE...1. EJ Manuel (Most upside of the QBs) 2a. Justin Hunter (also would be happy with Keenan Allen or Robert Woods) 2b. Kevin Minter (or Arthur Brown) 3. Vance Mcdonald (or highest rated TE on Bills board)
  12. If they don't trade down it comes down to QB or LB...EJ Manuel, Matt Barkley, Dion Jordan and Alec Ogletree would be the most likely at 8 and If Jordan was there he would be the pick but I don't think he will be. I'm saying IF they stay at 8 they take EJ Manuel (just because I don't think they want to trade up back into 1st to get a QB that probably wouldn't be there at 41 because it would cost them more picks that they can't afford to lose)
  13. Just some food for thought...Nix has always drafted someone (2010-Spiller, 2011-Dareus, 2012-Gilmore) that came in to one bills drive for a pre draft visit. After looking at the list I believer there are only 9 possibilities (10 if you believe they didn't need to bring in Nassib because of the familiarity already): QBs: Smith, Barkley and Manuel...LBs: Mingo, Jordan, Ogletree, and Jarvis Jones...WR: Patterson (Austin didn't come in and Hunter I believe is better than Patterson but I'm putting Patterson based on what others think)...S: Vaccaro. If you look at the list it feels like the Bills are down to LB or QB with first pick and I believe a lot of this depends on if they can trade down in the first to acquire another 2nd rounder. If they can trade down they will probably take there QB (my gut is EJ Manuel) and take WR and LB with both 2nds...If they can't trade down that is a tough scenario where they will most likely go BPA and take Jordan, Mingo or Ogletree (hoping for either Jordan or Ogletree after Maybin fiasco)
  14. If were talking about excitement for potential I agree but if we trade down and get any of the 3 (excluding Geno, who I really don't want) I'd be happy
  15. Not sure if this is accurate but I've been wanting Ogletree (and Jordan even though he's not an ILB) for a while now at 8 if we didn't trade down for our QB...I'm wondering if because the Jets got an extra 1st rounder and there's a greater chance they take a QB this shifts Nix and companies mindset to just say screw it and take the QB they want at 8 instead of risking losing 1 or all 3 of the QBs they have targeted with a trade down...
  16. Agreed Geno Smith, Patterson, and Te'o for Bust...Some studs/pro bowlers will be Jordan, Ogletree and to a lesser extent Werner and Lacy (especially if he goes to the right team). Also think Joeckel will be the worst of the 3 top OTs...
  17. I remember thinking the same exact thing! Damn did I want me some Russell Wilson...
  18. Would be ok with this but would be happier if we could trade down a bit and still get Manuel and pick up an extra 2nd/3rd for an ILB
  19. I can't remember the amount of games but I do remember the same thing happening last year with over 4 games being this way...Schedulers definitely don't like the Bills. If I were at OBD I'd bring this up to the league office
  20. Sure hope everyone is joking...the guy sounded like he was just happy to be on the team and would play anywhere the coaches needed him...
  21. I agree with taking Ogletree or even Jordan (if he's there)...those would be my top 2 picks but am also all for moving back (picking up an extra pick or 2) and taking whatever QB the FO falls in love with (hoping for either Wilson, Manuel or even Barkley if it's later in the round)
  22. Not sure if anyone else saw this on NFL.com but Greg Cosell (I always respect his insight on players) says he rates Nassib above Smith as top QB in draft! I'm not sold on any QB like I was last year with Luck, RGIII and even Wilson (check my postings) but if Cosell likes Nassib that puts me at ease if we take him...(I do really like Tyler Wilson but his hands are so damn small!) http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-draft/0ap2000000152809/Cosell-rates-Nassib-higher-than-Geno-Smith
  23. Right now with the way the talent is stacked up in this draft I would go DE/LB hybrid player in round 1 (unless staff really loves Geno Smith and he falls that far or one of the top 3 OTs). We need a flexible LB/DE for Pettine's scheme and my favorite player for that is Dion Jordan. I also really like Alec Ogletree (hope he's not off the board for his off field stuff). And I'd be good with Ansah (Pierre-Paul type) because of potential and to a lesser extent Mingo. I'm sure we will have our pick of 2nd Rd QBs minus Smith, Barkley and whomever the Jets take before us in the 2nd and unless we get Matt Flynn, I'm OK with drafting whomever Nix/Marrone want in the 2nd since at the very least we will have a good back up for the forseeable future. I'm not banging the table like I was last year with Russell Wilson on any of these QBs though. I really liked Tyler Wilson especially his toughness and competitiveness but his hands are incredibly small and we don't need more turnovers in Buffalo's cold weather. EJ Manuel would be interesting but I don't get the same feeling about him that I did with Cam and Wilson...Should be interesting, hope we don't screw this up
