  1. I agree with almost all of this except I like Murray and think he’s done a great job. I don’t see Fournette as an upgrade over Murray but I do love the addition in case of any more RB injuries. Fournette is not a great runner or pass catcher but he can block and he’s serviceable if needed. The other 2 signings I love for what was available. Douglas is going to fit in fine and hopefully he rubs off on Elam. And who doesn’t love a huge mammoth DT to clog up the running lanes. Slam dunk. Now let’s get on another winning streak and stay hot throughout the playoffs. Go bills
  2. If you’re guaranteeing a SB championship with giving up a first for Jaylon Johnson then sure sounds great but we can’t push all of our chips in for a maybe imo. I’d love for our D to get a little tighter in coverage but our team will go as far as Josh takes us so unless Johnson doesn’t cost a lot I’m kicking the tires on cheaper options like Hopkins or Sutton for Josh to have now and still have our early draft capital to take a stud like Odunze for the future
  3. They’re all available for the right offer on teams that are going nowhere. Courtland Sutton would be a nice get as well if cheap enough
  4. I just hope Beane finally understands that Davis is not a reliable #2 WR. He showed up last week, he showed up vs Steelers last year, and showed up huge vs KC in the playoff loss. He’s fun to have as 3rd WR but anything more than a 3yr 30mil contract would be insane. Plus I LOVE Diggs but he’s on the back 9 of his career too. Time to really Invest in a WR early in the draft. No more lame duck potential guys like Shorter, Shakir (hopefully he becomes something), etc
  5. Agreed Elam and a 3rd is the most I would give up. Doing this means Tre White is gone next year and we need all the high draft picks we can muster in this loaded draft class for other needs. I trust our FO with finding late round DBs…but we also have expiring WR contracts coming up in a draft class with a lot of talent at the position (love the UW kid #1 and I love that UNC kid Walker I think is his name). I want it all because winning this year is essential but having cheap great pieces for the future is just as important
  6. A few offensive players I’d love our team to go after if it didn’t cost much are: 1. Deandre Hopkins (I’d give up a 5th rounder and they eat some of the contract) 2. Saquan Barkley (swap James Cook who has 3 years left on his contract for Barkeys expiring expensive contract and we have our guy to get us to the SB) 3. Josh Jacobs (same as Barkley but would rather have Barkley as he is the better pass catching option) 4. Devante Adams (this one could be a stretch as he’s owed a lot of money still but he wants out of Vegas no matter what he says so may not cost much) also I think Daboll should kick the tires on trading Daniel Jones to the Vikings. Vikes want to make a playoff push and Jones is a decent QB when healthy to compete in that division for years to come. Dabs gets a top 5 pick at QB that he can mold the way he did with Josh Lastly I like the idea of getting CB Johnson from the bears but this is a LOADED draft class so I don’t want to get rid of too many assets. A 2025 second or 3rd rounder sure. And I’d love a big run stuffing DT but those aren’t coming cheap. But Aaron Donald or Vita vea are available I’m trying to get them
  7. It was 100% a hold. Von did look quicker tonight but I agree his bend isn’t there yet. It will be soon enough. Mayfield did a good job getting away from pressure because our pass rush was resilient last night just didn’t close very often
  8. Happy we won the game but man we should’ve had a comfortable 3+ score lead in this game if our coaches had some 🥜…inside your opponents 40 with less than 5 yards and a reeling TB d and your punt multiple times. We play to not lose and that won’t work against better competition. Also enough getting cute inside 2 yard line. Put Josh behind center no more shotgun gayness that close. I love how hard the players played. The o line was phenomenal, shakir, Kincaid and David were clutch and the D played hard the whole game but man McDermott and Dorsey are limiting this teams potential. They need to change quickly so we can get our groove back for a superbowl run
  9. I don’t know if this has its own thread yet but after talking to my buddy who is a huge Michigan fan, he’s feeling that if the Wolverines win it all this year, Jim is going back to the NFL for the right opportunity. Michigan football is under attack again and Jim probably doesn’t want to deal with it all. Although I love McD as a person and I think he’s done a good job this year with the defense, I hold him accountable for these lackluster performances. He had his scapegoat last year with Frazier so I don’t think he gets another free pass if he pushes the blame on Dorsey (even if Dorsey is a lot of the blame). Being a head coach means having your team ready to go to play inferior opponents (even if they bring their best against us). We are too talented of a team to be going through these lulls year after with a once in a generation QB. People may not be a fan of Jim Harbaugh’s brash personality but the man bleeds football and will bring a winning culture to Buffalo. I believe he will get the absolute best out of Josh Allen and honestly think if Beane let him know that Buffalo is interested in him, he would seriously consider coaching here. It would be the best of both worlds for him as he gets the college atmosphere and a franchise QB he can build a dynasty out of. I’d love to win a Super Bowl this year and I’m still hopeful we turn things around but if we can’t get there this year I pray Beane is seriously pitching to Harbaugh behind the scenes because it would be a game changer for the future of our Bills and exactly what we need
  10. Maybe already discussed but what happened to Dane Jackson that he’s inactive? Do we have a backup for Benford and Elam?
  11. Trade a 2025 pick then. No reason to handicap yourself in a loaded draft that can help our team stay a contender after aging players with loaded contracts move on from there time in the NFL. Can’t leave Josh alone on an island and expect him to carry the franchise. It’d be great to have it both ways and I trust Beane to make that kind of heady move to keep us in it now and in the future
  12. I hope we stand pat and don’t trade any 2024 assets. If we could get Calais Campbell for a 2025 7th rounder then awesome but I doubt it will happen. This is rumored to be an unbelievably rich draft class and we should have a plethora of picks to make for the future of our team. Anything more than a 5th rounder for a rental player this year is not worth it unless this player is a guarantee for us winning the Super Bowl Here are the Bills picks right now for 2024: 1st round 2nd 3rd 3rd (compensatory) 4th 5th 6th (Houston) 6th 7th
  13. I get that but the offense is 100% healthy and that’s all we’ll need vs the Jags. Lawrence will make a couple mistakes as always against our beat up D. Bills roll 🥳
  14. 100% I love Tre and praying for him but I’m also excited to see how Ingram does. He’s flashed some upside
  15. it was clear as day. I was so pissed when this happened because clearly everyone in the world including the Detroit lions D saw the clock run out and were caught off guard when the play still happened. Referees are so garbage and like Mike Florio stated until we get them paid full time and hold them accountable for their mistakes there will be no changes. NFL needs to rectify this immediately
  16. I think that’s what it’s going to be too. Can’t wait
  17. Lions vs Bills SB book it
  18. This was the best I’ve seen the whole team play in a long time, since Josh was fully healthy at the beginning of last year. Amazing performance against a really impressive D. Our O line looked awesome, Josh was in total control and our D was relentless. Bravo! Go bills squish the phish next week
  19. I’m finally on the Bernard train! Great blitzer and play maker in coverage. Add some weight and he could be an around good LB for us. Good job Beane and McDermott on this one
  20. I’m usually a glass half full guy and I’m seeing a lot of love for Bernard but outside of the INT I don’t get what everyone sees. He seems to be out of position a lot and not a big help against the run. I hope he grows into the position more and I’m happy he made that INT but I’d definitely bring Kirksey up sooner rather than later while the schedule is still somewhat soft
  21. That was good composure by him lol. He seems dialed in and I love that hat. Got to get one
  22. AFC 1. Bills 14-3 2. Chiefs 12-5 3. Jags 12-5 4. Bengals 11-6 5. Jets 11-6 6. Ravens 10-7 7. Steelers 10-7 NFC 1. SF 13 -4 2. DET 12-5 3. NYG 12-5 4. CAR 10-7 5. PHI 11-6 6. NOS 9-8 7. MIN 9-8 Giants and Lions surprise a lot of people in the NFC with the Lions making a run to the Super Bowl where they fight hard but come up short against the best team in football, our Josh Allen led Buffalo Bills 🥳
  23. Your top 4 are for sure the order and the bottom 4 are debatable but honestly I’d probably have them about the same with the nfc west above the afc south only because I could legitimately see SF, SEA and LAR making the playoffs and the cardinals pulling the bottom down on that division as probably the worst team in football
  24. Looking at our first 8 games I definitely think we will go 6-2 or better starting off. Heading into the back half of the schedule we need a healthy roster and Von back to his form. It won’t be easy playing cincy, Philly, KC and LAC at home but we are more than capable of winning every one of those games. I mean we beat KC basically every year at their place during the regular season.
  25. Fun stuff! 1) Kincaid - I’m bullish on this kid. If healthy he will be Kelce 2.0 and have a HOF career as a Buffalo Bill retiring the same year as Josh (12+ years from now) so they can be inducted at the same time 2) Torrence - solid plug and play starting right guard for the next 5-10 years 3) Williams - Solid backup LB who spot starts here and there throughout his career 4) Shorter - bust. Dude body catches everything. Should’ve taken a chance on a WR with higher upside guy like the Princeton kid, Andrei Iosivas who we could’ve got a round later. Hope I’m wrong but there were at least 20 WRs I would’ve taken over Shorter 7) Broeker - not on the team anymore and honestly didn’t pay alot of attention to him 7) Austin - he actually looks like he could develop into a good corner and stay around the league for 4-6 years but I’m glad we kept Ingram I like his potential more a couple others: Zay Flowers will go down as the best WR from this class. Even in Baltimore with their lackluster pass offense he is going to be a big time game changing playmaker. Devon Witherspoon will be the best corner in this class and has potential to be a top 10 corner for the next 5-10 years And a future bills player prediction: Ryan Van Demark will be the starting LT for the Buffalo Bills in 2024
