  1. CJ Gardner Johnson is the answer if we can’t hit on one after the 2nd round. I HOPE we don’t take a safety in the first couple rounds because that’s just spinning the wheels as always of not really helping the only part of our team that gets us to a SB out. CJ is young, he’s going to be relatively cheap after this injured season and he’s very good with room to grow. He fits the mold of bargain with big upside that Beane usually goes for. I’d love grabbing him as I think he still could be star in this league. Let’s save the early round picks for WR and OT so we can keep our dreams of winning a Super Bowl alive. There is no Kyle Hamilton in this draft and even if there was I’m still going WR with how epic the talent there is at the top
  2. All three of them could. If you watch him during the playoffs, you know it’s not him making the mistakes holding us back
  3. If I’m talking just QB not the team or coach and a guy would start a franchise with today, this would be my list: Tier 1 dealers choice all time greats 1a. Josh Allen 1b. Joe Burrow 1c. Patrick Mahomes Tier 2 - your going to the playoffs almost every year 4. CJ Stroud 5. Lamar Jackson Tier 3 - unlimited potential but still make so many mistakes 6. Justin Herbert 7. Trevor Lawrence Tier 4 - you can win with a good team around these guys 8. Jared Goff 9. Jalen Hurts 10. Dak Prescott Matthew Stafford and Aaron Rodgers are top 5 guys but they’re old and injury prone now. They don’t make the list of starting a franchise Jordan Love I need to see a full season. Great end of year but is it Lafleur scheming wide open targets? Guys like Purdy and Tua are great effecient quick thinking QBs but where is my franchise going to be? Do I want them out in the elements in Chicago or Buffalo Also, I’m not going to lie, I did consider Baker Mayfield in the top 10. He just has to show he can do what he did this year again since his first few years were not the best
  4. The crowd that wants to apply this to marriage are completely off the horizon. This is in fact NOT a marriage. No one told McD we’re committing to you until death do us part BUT for some reason he is getting that kind of treatment. This is a BUSINESS first and for most. In any business the owner and CEO should be making the best decision to maximize profit. Our biggest profiting sales item is Josh Allen so EVERYTHING should be geared toward making that item flourish. If the manager running the Josh Allen side of the business isn’t getting the most out of the product, it’s fully in the rights of the company to look at better alternatives while keeping the manager in place or firing him if they deem it necessary. To keep this analogy going, we have monopolized this market with a rare product (Josh Allen) no one else can ever get. We have a guy (McD) overseeing how this product gets used who stumbled into the position by happens stance and hasn’t taken the time to research how to best use the product himself. He also doesn’t have the skill set or vision to take this product as far as it can go. Why wouldn’t the company try and look elsewhere to get the best visionary for this once in a lifetime job opportunity?
  5. Bingo! And honestly teams can do whatever they want. The cubs just did this same situation with David Ross when they dismissed him for Craig Counsel as their manager. I’d just fire him straight up but at least this gives the warm and fuzzies to him for his years of service and ultimately lets him make the decision if he wants to fall on his own sword before being put out of his misery.
  6. https://www.golongtd.com/p/the-buffalo-bills-have-a-decision Tyler Dunne is spot on. Great article I don’t understand how at the very least we couldn’t have told Sean McDermott hey we’re going to explore other options at head coach in the next few weeks. We are not firing you unless we find someone we think will maximize Josh Allens talents and get us to a Super Bowl more than you can. It’s an off-season that has Hall of Fame coaches just sitting there for the taking. Why not at least check it out. What’s the worst that happens if we do that? McD gets pissy and resigns. Well thank God for that.
  7. I’m on the fence on wanting to like this because he is our best up-and-coming defensive coach but I feel if I support us making him d coordinator I’m supporting us keeping McDermott and I’m just not there yet. Ha ha.
  8. Exactly right, so what do you think Harbaugh would do with our current team and an even better quarterback
  9. What a crappy week to be a bills fan lol at least Michigan fans can be like thanks for the championship Harbaugh, now let’s cheer for the lions. Bills fans get rammed up the butt with more of the same ol chief storyline and now we miss out on the best coach available in years. 🥳 😭 But hey we still have McDermott 🤮
  10. I’d bet money in 2 years time the chargers will get farther than us in the playoffs if we still have McD leading this team. We missed out on a true game changing and QB elevating coach
  11. Come on Pegula get him here before he signs. Josh > Justin
  12. If we have to ask these questions like “do we think he will find a way to mess it up?” Then the answer can only be yes. He’s the variable that can change and us get better. An offensive minded coach brings stability to Josh and the draft and offseason would be geared to helping the franchise QB and our team win a SB instead of protecting our coaches ego by getting more defensive players to come up big for us in key moments 🙄
  13. Listening to him talk just makes me sick. It’s always subtle “look I’m doing a good job” underneath every comment. Hey guys you can’t tear this down let’s just make little tweaks 🤮, meaning “I’m not going anywhere”. Ask the damn hard questions! Why should you keep your job? You’ve had multiple attempts to get to the SB and your defensive game plan hasn’t been able to stop the chiefs and bengals. Then let him have a second to throw his excuses out there as per usual then throw this at him. We have a generational talent at Quarterback. The other generational talents in Mahomes and Burrow have stable offensive minded head coaches running the show. I believe what sets those QBs apart is having an offensive head coach leading those franchises. It has made them consistent Super Bowl contenders. You are a defensive coach and even if Joe Brady is the answer isn’t it fair to say that when he does do a great job in the coming years that he will leave for his own head coaching job, like Brian Daboll did and then Josh has to start over once again with getting comfortable with a new offensive scheme. Don’t you think it’s fair to Josh Allen and this franchise to step aside and let this organization take the next step in becoming a perennial Super Bowl contender by embracing an offensive minded HC running the show for years to come?
  14. I’m going to watch later but man I threw up in my mouth just hearing he’s having an end of year presser. I want him to leave so bad and just having to hear him talk about changes being made that aren’t him leaving is going to enrage me.
  15. Oh man I totally get it I put on my lucky Josh Allen jersey and then, get this, I actually believed McD could out coach Andy Reid
  16. “Why can’t McD win with all this ?” Because he’s an average HC and a decent d coordinator who lucked into having a once in a generation talent at QB and is holding on for dear life making every excuse in the book to keep this job before he never gets a chance like this again. In the meantime we have to watch the best player our franchise has ever had settle for mediocrity around him because ownership is ok with just making the playoffs and winning the division year in and year out (which is great if you didn’t have the above mentioned superstar unbelievable talent at QB that any HC in the world would give their left nut to coach) and of course Beane is going to spin it that we’re on the rise and next year will be the year because he doesn’t have the balls to call out his buddy that got him the job…why’s that Beane? Because ultimately he probably feels if McD goes the new coach is going to bring in his own GM. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  17. These questions like “did you really think THIS was the team that would win a championship?” would be laughed out of the forum if we had Andy Reid as our HC. That team has nothing at WR but because their HC isn’t coasting through excuses year after year his fans don’t have to ask moronic questions like this because even if the team is less then, they still have a great coach and franchise quarterback. Fire McD already and let’s right the ship so we don’t have to worry about ludicrous questions like this when we have a once in a lifetime QB leading our team
  18. Spot on but why should he get next year when this year has such an elite class of coaches available? Josh is ready raring to go. Let’s give him everything he needs.
  19. Agreed you can’t trade all the way up to top 10 but there is a way he falls to the teens or lower. A lot of teams need OT help. And honestly I see at least 4 QBs going in the top 10. Don’t forget Bowers will get snagged early. It’s unlikely but if he falls to the teens I’d be willing to move up and snag him if it only took our 2nd rounder. Hes that good But If we can’t get a bona fide stud day 1 super star then I’m fine grabbing a couple WRs in this draft because it is very deep at the position
  20. I do like him a lot but man if there is any way to trade up a little and get Odunze I’d be ecstatic
  21. This is it. And will stay it until we invest around Josh. Harbaugh is just sitting there waiting but will Pegula even glance in the waiting room or is McD holding that door closed with more deflecting excuses
  22. Allen, Kincaid and I can’t believe I’m saying this but Ed Oliver. He’s been a beast this year. I’d be fine with Milano instead of Oliver as well
  23. McD needs to be fired. Thank you for your service but it’s time. Too many great proven coaches available, best of Jim Harbaugh. Time to get Josh his own Andy Reid so our city can finally get a Lombardi
  24. 100%…he’s done all he can with this team. He can’t get us to the promised land. His D got torched, big play after big play all game. Doesn’t matter what injuries you had to deal with. We can’t beat KC at home. I felt all along if he can beat KC he deserves more time even if we lose in the AFC championship game but he didn’t again. It’s time to put all of our chips in the middle and get Jim Harbaugh as our HC. I’d bet big money that he would take our job over any other gig in the NFL. Please Mr. Pegula don’t go into next season with McD leading this team again, it will only lead to the same Groundhog Day result and Josh and this fan base deserves better
