Ya probably not the chargers first choice since he’s about to be 73 but definitely an option

My early predictions for coaching hires. This changes a bit if any playoff teams fire coaches. Patriots - Mike Vrabel (easy) Seattle - Dan Quinn (easier) Washington - Harbaugh (near his bro in opposite conference with owners who have a lot of money and get to mold the new franchise QB, Drake Maye) Chargers - Ben Johnson (they miss out on Harbaugh but get the next best offensive coach for Herbert) Raiders - Antonio Pierce (easy) Falcons - Bill Belichick (seems like the guy Blank would want) Titans - Bobby Slowik (stealing a rival OC to help mold Levis) Panthers - Ejiro Evero (who else besides Eric Bienemy are going to want this job)

I was just talking about this same thing with a buddy. Don’t love McD but if he gets us to the promised land then maybe Babich should be the DC and then McD humbles himself and hires a big moments coordinator to be in his ear as well lol

If I was a team looking for a HC my #1 call would be for Harbaugh, 2nd would be Ben Johnson. Vrabel is a great leader of men and would be good for a team that needs a culture change but for a team that has a potential franchise QB that needs some nurturing I’m looking for an offensive minded HC. I don’t know if Cleveland has an OC or if stefanski handles all of it but that offense just kept going with all of the chaos and Chubb getting hurt early on. I’d look at him, I’d look at Baltimores OC, Monken I believe, who did amazing with Lamar, even the Texans OC, Slowick, who helped Stroud have an unbelievable rookie year with hardly any weapons.

What Changes Would You Expect If Steelers Win?
NeverOutNick replied to Dick_Cheney's topic in The Stadium Wall
We lose to the Steelers, there is no excuse or anyone else to blame, McD gone -
Oh this would be amazing! Can’t see it happening but we can dream.

Steelers @ Bills. Monday, January 15th at 4:30pm.
NeverOutNick replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Because McD is our head coach and until proven otherwise he makes every double digit favored game into a nail bitter -
That would be awesome! I’d want him or Sutton for sure

McD is serviceable HC that is good at taking a team without direction and building a culture but he’s not creative enough to do much more than that. This team has been through a lot these past few years with being at our peak and losing with 13 seconds left. Hamlin dying on the field and being revived last year and this years up and down roller coaster that hopefully ends with us holding the Lombardi trophy high. All of this shows how great a group of PLAYERS we have to overcome so much and keep persevering. McD is a fine HC (he’d do great to get his former Carolina panthers to become an average NFL team again) and I thank him for starting a culture, but he doesn’t get a pass to coach as long as he’d like. His message is stale and he has plateaued. He has the best QB in the league on his team and since Daboll left he hasn’t developed him into actually showing that he’s the unquestionable face of the league like he should be. McD is a very good defensive coordinator but don’t act like all of you aren’t biting your lip in anticipation of his defense giving the other team a new set of downs on a 3rd or 4th and long. How many times have we had to watch games where we should smoke the opposing side and yet we’re holding our breaths that we can keep the one score lead heading into the final few minutes of a game vegas and anyone with eyes says we should win by 14+ points. The man plays not to lose a game. Yay he finally went for a 4th and 1 in his own territory for the first time ever. Let’s throw him a parade! We’re the best team in the league with a very average head coach. He’s cost this team too many times in big moments and unless we get to the Super Bowl I am not going to say McD has “earned” the right to keep coaching our once in a lifetime QB. Imagine this team being coached by Shanahan, Reid, Harbaugh, stefanski, Lafleur, Campbell, even McDaniel! They would pour everything into developing Josh into the face of the league. He wouldn’t have to Superman it every week because he’d have the right offensive scheme and players around him. The BIGGEST reason I’m done with McD and do not give him a pass is because he’s a ME guy. I didn’t notice it early on because he covered it up with his “team” mentality and “we’re building a culture” but dude doesn’t take responsibility. He's always deflecting blame. That halftime interview in the Miami game made me want to drive to Miami and kick him in the nuts. “He (Josh) can’t throw that ball, he’s got to throw it in the end zone or near the boundary”…screw you dude. Your legendary QB threw a perfect pass to cook who dropped the TD (again) and then gives Ty Johnson the perfect leading pass to get into the end zone and Miami defender makes a GREAT play to keep him a yard short and that’s what you say!? How about the multiple 3rd and longs you gave up on D? Or we’ve all got to do better you dick…sorry again I’m just sick of him as our head coach. I think he’s a very good D coordinator but I can no longer just “give him a pass” for mediocrity. This team should destroy Pittsburgh on Sunday but I don’t get the warm and fuzzies because he’s our coach. This team should at minimum be playing Baltimore for the AFC crown but I won’t put money on it because he’s the decision maker we are counting on in big moments. I totally believe this team can win the Super Bowl this year but it will because of these players and our generational QB not McD. In a perfect world we win it all and he retires to join the MMA senior tour and Jim Harbaugh comes to Buffalo next year to lead and develop this team into the dynasty it deserves and should be with Josh Allen as our QB. Go Bills!

My prediction is Belichick leaves and Vrabel is the new HC of NE seems. Seems like the writing is on the wall for this one

Oh he’s not the best in this class BUT this is an epic QB class. Williams, Maye, Nix and Penix are all top 10 worthy and in most draft would be a top 3 pick. I personally love Nix but Maye has the biggest upside and Williams is a freak of nature so I get why those 2 will probably go before him.
-
I actually really like Tua as a person and he is a quick decision-maker, but he’s not special like josh is. He still a top 12 QB in this league though. I’ll tell you this Penix kid reminds me of a bigger, stronger version of Tua.

Got to be honest, Colin changed his tune after the cowboys game and has consistently been saying we are a Super Bowl contender. He’s had us number three behind Baltimore and San Francisco every week since in his herd hierarchy.

sorry to be a bummer because I’m on cloud 9 for the win today and think Josh and this team can win it all BUT… I’m still so done with McD. Love the team, the fight of these players and ya thanks for showing you had a set of “big balls” today McD but your halftime interview of throwing your QB under the bus shows you’re not a real leader of men and are a ME guy that always passes the blame. After cook dropped a TD, then a full out blitz and Josh gives Ty Johnson a chance at a TD, you basically say Josh F’d up “you can’t throw that ball, it has to be in the end zone or on the sidelines”…tell Josh that in private if that’s what you think. It’s always about placing the blame on someone else, defer to someone else. Fire coordinators, or the Diggs stuff earlier in the season he says “I’m extremely worried about Diggs not being here”…he just needs to go My dream scenario is we win the Super Bowl and he retires from coaching and then we get Jim Harbaugh who would actually elevate this team every year instead of depending on super man, Josh Allen to bail this team out. Josh would sore to new levels with a coach who didn’t stifle him. I am thrilled we won because I’m a bills fan and I believe in these players but I also am a realist and know that if we had almost any other head coach in these playoffs (Reid, Shanahan, Mcvay, McDaniel, Harbaugh, Campbell, Lafleur) we would be blowing teams out weekly because they would know what an unbelievable talent Josh is and would nurture the heck out of making him the best player in the nfl.

Anyone else have a good feeling about the Titans vs. Jags?
NeverOutNick replied to JMM's topic in The Stadium Wall
I actually feel decent about both the ravens and titans games being close. If I’m totally honest, I think the ravens second team takes down Rudolph’s slay but jags barely win vs titans -
It’s division title or bust (updates on non-Bills games)
NeverOutNick replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Now I get the name Einstein. Love it -
This is an amazing WR class…ODUNZE all day! Tre Harris from ole Miss is also a stud but not sure he’s coming out. Franklin from Oregon and Walker from UNC are guys after the first first round I like a lot too. Just such a deep and awesome draft.

So how are we feeling about Coach McDermott?
NeverOutNick replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hate to say it because McDermott is who he is and we’ve topped out with how dynamic we can be with him leading us but if we get the 2 seed and win at least one playoff game, he will be our HC next year. If we miss the playoffs or lose first round of the playoffs we NEED to move on. Go hard after Jim Harbaugh, who I believe would pick us as his #1 place to coach because of Josh. Do I believe the bills will do this? No. Brandon Beane is a great GM but also most likely feels like he “owes” his job to McD and also probably feels like he is tied to McD and if McD goes then he goes too. I don’t feel the same way but internally I bet that’s the thought process and the reason nothing will change -
Happy new year bills family! Blessed to have family and a chance at a Super Bowl championship this 2024 new year

The 1 scenario that eliminates the Bills next week
NeverOutNick replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall
100% agree but I also think Tannehill will play his butt off to get another backup role next season when he’s a free agent. Plus vrabel doesn’t know how to throw a game. I think ravens backups have a better shot to take down Rudolph and his inept sleigh but I won’t discount Vrabel and Tannehill pulling off the upset over a hobbled Lawrence -
Bills-Dolphins Week 18 for the Division! SUNDAY NIGHT GAME
NeverOutNick replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Only thing I don’t like about this is your giving a potential 7 seed an extra day of rest vs the #2 seed. Hopefully jags lose so this game is for the 4 seed -
Bills-Dolphins Week 18 for the Division! SUNDAY NIGHT GAME
NeverOutNick replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hear you on this. Logically it makes sense but screw the chiefs. I hope the dolphins destroy them at home. I’m also not afraid of the ravens. We’ve proven to be able to contain Lamar in the past -
The 1 scenario that eliminates the Bills next week
NeverOutNick replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just bet $22 to win $122. Figure I at least get 100 bucks to ease my pain. Also bet $6 on a 2 team parlay of titans and ravens both at +3.5 to make $22. Hedging my bet a little lol -

Already placed my 3 team parlay bet just in case lol -
In a play where the paid rules analyst comes on and states “there was no reason to rush anything because the clock was stopped so that eligible players could be reported to the defense”…why was the ref in such a hurry? Why didn’t he make sure he knew what was going on? Why so quick to throw a flag if you weren’t sure? Mr. Allen you sir are fake and no longer need to be an NFL referee
