  1. He’s going to cost too much and he doesn’t separate from coverage. I like him but just get a couple guys in the draft
  2. If someone is going to pay that much who are we to question it. Let the man get paid
  3. That’s awesome! I definitely didn’t watch any BYU and missed Nacua. He’s a stud and definitely should’ve been drafted higher. I was right on Flowers though. Remember a lot of guys saying he wouldn’t pan out because of whatever metrics they wanted to use to include his “short arms” 🙄
  4. They’re a great organization top to bottom now which is crazy after how bad they’ve been. They hit on a couple corners in the draft and get Hutchinson some help on the line and they’ll be in the nfc championship game again next year barring injuries with them keeping Johnson in place
  5. Heck even the offense! Then maybe we would have Puka Nakua instead of Justin shorter
  6. he’s been under McDermott for the last 6+ years. I think he’s learned enough lol
  7. Lol just stop. You know he was interviewed by 3 different teams. They weren’t bringing him to tell him hey if you get the job we’re not going to let you call plays. I’d be very surprised if he’s not calling plays
  8. I actually think he’s going to call plays. Why else take the position when you could’ve taken one outside the organization with a different team
  9. Doing my first deep dive into this class after watching the whole college football season and man this class is just loaded! And it’s got so many huge 6’2” or larger freak athletes. We better come out of this draft with at least 2 WRs for Josh.
  10. 100% you have to draft OL somewhere and keep developing. Love that they all played well but Dawkins is getting older and more expensive, Morse is probably on his last legs and who knows how long before Brown has a back problem again. I like Alec Anderson and Van Denmark a lot though 2 WRs at least in this LOADED wr draft class taking a page out of GBs book. But this time draft actual WRs not guys who look good in a t shirt and shorters (see what I did there) D Jones will probably be back if Beane likes the numbers but I agree grab a big man in the draft too. Doesn’t have to be early safety I think we can find value in free agency with a deep FA class looking for jobs and find another guy in the draft. Honestly this is not a concern of mine because even though I don’t like McD. He and the coaching staff do a great job developing defensive backs (outside of Elam so far lol)
  11. I may be on an island but I actually still think Mac jones has a lot of promise. I’d take him in a heartbeat to backup Josh if all it took was a 6th rounder
  12. He’s only going to hire coaches that don’t threaten his job or his decision-making. Sorry I wasn’t clear on what I meant also, you want to have differing ideas in the building maybe that would lead to us getting farther in the playoffs and your defense not adjusting at all to having AJ Klein cover Travis Kelce
  13. You haven’t watched Nix if you’re calling him a game manager.
  14. exactly! If he’s a franchise quarterback, and I believe he is, you’re getting more than 10 years production out of him and unlike some of the other quarterbacks in this class you’re getting a very mature plug-and play guy from day one. I hope he doesn’t end up in the AFC
  15. Never going to happen with McD making sure he has guys that will fall in line behind his decisions only but I’d be all about it as well, but only if they let Beane do the drafting and it’s Joshcentric
  16. I haven’t done a deep dive on any of the positions yet. Just started the WRs because that’s my favorite but just from watching the past few years I know I’d rather have Bo Nix over Jayden Daniels or Penix. I could make a case for him as the QB who has the best career in this class but Williams and Maye have unlimited potential so I get why they’re going to be 1 and 2. Better hope a great QB mind works with Williams though because all the talent in the world isn’t going to make up for the erratic way he plays the QB position. Also I really do like Penix a lot. With a clean pocket there isn’t a better QB in this class but without a great o line he is going to struggle. He’s the bigger stronger version of Tua which is a good thing if you know that going in
  17. I do like polk and I haven’t done a huge dive in WRs yet but my early gut call is Franklin will be there and he will be the pick and I’ll be happy
  18. I’ll dig into this more later. I know you do your homework so I applaud that but my biggest criticism is Bo Nix. There is NO WAY he falls all the way to 42. I could make a case for him going in the top 3. He is the most nfl ready QB in this class and has gotten better every year of his college career. He reminds me of Joe Burrow just not yet as elite as Joe as a decision maker (yet…hopefully he can get there because he’s taken huge strides with it since Auburn). He’s got everything you want in a franchise QB and teams know this. Watch Bo’s name keep skyrocketing as media members start hearing and seeing what scouts already know.
  19. I agree that none are a must bring back but if the money is right I’d be all for bringing back D Jones, Epenesa, Edwards, T Johnson and even Hyde if the contract wasn’t bad…the rest are either not worth it or too expensive (Floyd)
  20. Josh Allen… show me the career playoff accolades of Andy Reid and Zach Taylor, since those are the two other franchises that have generational talents at the QB position.
  21. 10 times out of 10 I take Campbell over McD. He is the pulse of his team and his team comes out every game like warriors ready for battle. He always takes ownership for his decision making. Hes an offensive head coach and mentored Ben Johnson (his TE coach) so I don’t believe his offense will lose their identity when Ben leaves. He gives his QB every weapon available to succeed. He fits the Buffalo never give up, loyal to a fault attitude. Josh would love him! And he can and will get this team winning a Super Bowl side note- lions have the absolute WORST corner back situation in the league. Sutton and Vildor and all of their backups are trash. They could’ve had 2 easy interceptions to put a cap on this game and they can’t cover worth a cheap zip lock bag. Lions had some unfortunate breaks and they should be in the Super Bowl but I don’t fault Campbell for not kicking a 48 yd kicking with his lame duck place kicker. This offseason corner and kicker are top priorities because they really don’t need much of anything (besides replacing stone hands Reynolds who also could’ve sealed the game for them) on offense…must be nice
  22. It’s almost like there’s just one thing missing to get us to that next level…we should ask Andy Reid about that in the offseason
  23. Agreed. It wasn’t his fault at all that we lost that game. It’s all at the top and on the other side of the field
  24. That’s why in that game quarterback documentary when Mahomes was asked if he would rather face the bills or the Bengals he said we match up better with the bills. Reid knows in big moments he will always outsmart McD
  25. If we have to keep McD it’s a no brainer to keep Brady. He gets a full offseason to scheme properly and hopefully gets actual WRs to add with Shakir. Shakir is a great #3 but Brady and Josh need some young drafted stars in this loaded WR class (at least 2)
