  1. Could they not dip into this deep rookie wr class in 3rd and find a similar or better prospect?
  2. What do you see in Rashard Higgins? Is he a ST ace? His production doesn’t look like anything special.
  3. He looks very good ?and we still need a corner. Isn’t he a DT? I think that position is full for now.
  4. Torn about whether I hope that Bills sign Gordon. Watching him run, he has speed, quickness, runs hard and is a very good receiver out of the backfield, but on the other hand he averages less than 4 yards per carry. I know avg per carry depends on a lot of factors including play selection, blocking, etc. He does look like he and Singletary could be a great combination.
  5. I would be shocked if Higgins is there at 54, but I expect Shenault will be. I think they won’t take WR in 2nd almost no matter what.
  6. If any of the top RBs like Dobbins, Swift, Taylor, Akers or Edwards-helaire are available at 54, I think it would be very tempting. I do think that DE is a bigger need, but I don’t know if there will be as good a DE prospect available as compared to any of that RB group.
  7. If they can accomplish that and extend Dawkins, Milano and White, it will be outstanding!
  8. I liked what I saw from Pittman, less so Claypool. Just seemed to me that Claypool should have been more dominant with his physical gifts.
  9. Me too, but I don’t think the value of their remaining later picks can get that done. 5th - 7th round picks don’t carry much trade value.
  10. I don’t know about Claypool- he is certainly athletic, but in full games I watched Cole Kmet was the more impactful player.
  11. But you weren’t getting Lamb, Jeudy or Ruggs with those picks.
  12. I’m not anti-RB, but I think they can find a good RB compliment to Singletary in round 3-5. I don’t have any great desire to sign any of the available FA RBs
  13. I wasn’t arguing that those picks don’t have any value, but rather that the trade value of them all amounts to what it would take to move up 2-4 spots in round 1. Of course, you at least think you are getting a better prospect when you draft someone in round 5-7 than you think you’ll get in undrafted free agents.
  14. I thought that I had adjusted for the 21 4th, but agree with your point. The “haul” of picks they sent to Vikes amounts to only a bit more than pick 22.
  15. SO much frustration over the number of picks traded for Diggs. But the 1st, 5th, 6th and next year’s 4th is still roughly equivalent to a single pick - the 18th pick of the first round. Diggs for the 18th pick in round one sounds pretty good to me. They were never getting Jeudy, Lamb or Ruggs with pick 18.
  16. I think Duke and Foster should expect significant competition for their spots. I still expect another WR will be taken by round 5 at the latest. Could be BPA in 3rd or 4th is WR.
  17. Unlike many, I'm not opposed to trading up if they have someone rated much higher than other prospects at a position of need, but unless they give up their 3rd rounder, they don't have the ammo to move very far up in round 2. Giving up their 4th rounder and pick 54 might get them to 48 or 49.
  18. It's going to be a long nerve-wracking wait for them hoping to get DE help at 54. They will be sweating that one for a while.
  19. Do you see any viable options that migh be available at 54? Do you think Anae might still be there? Would you be on-board with Terrell Lewis and his injury history there?
  20. That position appears to need some reinforcements.
  21. Interesting idea: Edmunds' height and speed sometimes coming off the edge could seemingly help the pass rush.
  22. Agreed. Hughes, Murphy and Daryl Johnson?
  23. I saw that and disagree strongly with that assertion. Do you think that if the Bills had called Arizona and offered their 22nd pick 5th and 6th rounders and a 4th next year for pick 8 that they would have taken it? They would have laughed and hung up. i know that there are different versions of the draft pick value table floating around, but most are fairly similar. Here is a link to one that I based my analysis on: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/draft/draft_trade_value.htm Confirm my calculation, but don't forget to discount the 2021 4th by a round (equal to about a mid5th his year) as is typically done.
  24. Admittedly, it *seems* like a lot to give up, but the Bills' 1st, 5th, 6th and 2021 4th (discounted by a round for Vikes waiting a year for it) would *maybe* have been enough to get them pick 19 in this year's draft. The 5th, 6th and next year's 4th don't have a lot of trade value.
  25. I know that they are saying that WR is deep this year, but I think it is a little over-stated. There are some good receivers, but I expect most of the 2nd tier will be gone before 54 - guys like Reagor, Mims, Schenault and Hamler will be gone by then. Maybe you can get Pittman, Claypool (who I was not that impressed with), Gabe Davis or Antonio Gandy-Golden at 54.
