  1. Some people are stuck in a time warp and think the religious right is wielding it's oppressive power against them.
  2. That's a perfect description of President Trump.
  3. It actually is about paying taxes. The original quote was "give unto Caesar whatever Caesar says is his, lest you be a racist." They edited it down for publication.
  4. I was making fun of the imbeciles who think Jesus preached socialism. I'm not a religious man, but I know that the new testament is about free will and compassion, not force and coercion. And socialism is based entirely on force and coercion.
  5. Remember when Jesus said "kill or imprison all who refuse to do as I say?" I don't remember which verse it is, but it's my favorite.
  6. I don't want to speak ill of the dead, but I'm getting a little nauseated watching people choke on this guy's rooster. I give him the same level of respect for going to war that I give anyone else who answers the call, and no more. Otherwise, in keeping in line with my first statement, I don't have much to say about him.
  7. No one would be looking to indict Trump or any of his associates if he weren't President. This is all politically motivated. The most irritating part of it (other than watching the integrity of our system of government being whittled away) is watching people like you pretend to give a **** about corruption. Shocking.
  8. This was disappointing. The Redskins one was pretty funny. This reminded me of a bad parody movie that just makes references to scenes from other movies without putting a witty twist on them.
  9. But Hitler was a dictator, and Trump is literally Hitler, ergo ...
  10. If you press him he may come up with a substantive argument like "stop watching Fox News."
  11. The moral of the story is that government corruption, selective prosecution, and persecution of political prisoners are all fine as long as they are calculated to hurt Trump.
  12. Manny's an interesting comparison. The similarities scare me a bit. He was another ACC linebacker with a freakish size/speed combination who went in the first round. Manny Lawson 6'5" 240lb. 4.43 40 124 .0 Broad Jump 10.5 college sacks (12 games) Tremaine Edmunds 6'5" 253 lb. 4.54 40 117.0 Broad Jump 10 college sacks (26 games)
  13. That's what I was thinking. Could be he came in thinking he could coast on his talent and now realizes he could be out of the league in a year if he doesn't get it together. If that doesn't motivate him I don't know what will. If I had to wager I'd say he's more likely to go the way of Greg Little than Steve Smith, but to get that level of talent for a 7th in 2020 I'll roll the dice all day.
  14. We should snatch him up now while his price is down. Hamstrings usually heal and when it does we have a discount #1 WR. This is what investors mean when they say buy low.
  15. I had a small Honda bike for a few years but sold it and don't plan to replace it until my kids are grown. I never went down on it, but I had some close calls, 1 in particular, that could have been really bad. A lady my family knows accidentally killed a guy on a bike about a mile from my house. She pulled out in front of him while trying to leave a shopping center. If I ever do get another bike I'll spring for a thick jacket with cooling options. It's too dangerous to ride exposed, but it sucks wearing jeans and leather when it's 90+ outside, and it sucks even more when the temperature drops and you wore light gear. Some of the most miserable moments of my adult life have been riding home in chilly weather without enough clothes. And 60° feels like 40 at 50 mph in a light shirt
  16. Most fans do have the patience to let a promising QB take his lumps. They just don't want to waste time watching a lost cause flounder around in a sea of futility.
  17. It's easy if you try. So in other words we can discount your opinion because no matter the situation you're automatically going to pick your pre-determined side.
  18. I feel your pain. It's called misophonia and it can be brutal. https://www.webmd.com/mental-health/what-is-misophonia
  19. This song is !@#$ing awesome.
  20. I get this insofar as wanting to be anti-establishment, but how do you support two guys who represent polar opposite philosophies?
