  1. I expect great things. Big plays, clutch plays, and a lot of turnovers. I expect turnovers of a young QB. Those are mistakes you learn from. If he slings it and makes things happen I'm more than willing to take that ride with him. If he tries too hard to play it safe I'll worry.
  2. I've not insulted you either.
  3. Maybe he's a millennial. They were raised on this racism narrative and think being strongly against racism (against certain groups) makes them good people. Most of them don't realize it's something they've been fed by people with an agenda, and actually think it's an objectively informed opinion they reached on their own.
  4. I don't get how referencing one's European ancestry equates to racism. Every other group can reference their ancestry with great pride and no one has a problem with that. Why is it different for her?
  5. What makes her, or Tommy Robinson for that matter, a racist.
  6. You'd be a lot more persuasive if you didn't refer to everyone who has a different point of view as a racist.
  7. I don't think it was a jerk move at all. In fact, I think it was pretty slick. The kid sounds like a self-absorbed dick who doesn't care how his actions affect others. You did him a favor by calling him out. Hopefully he learned a lesson.
  8. I used to cry about the bills all the time. I mean, just weeping like a god damn kitty. But since I cut soy out of my diet I no longer fall to pieces over a Bills game. Don't get me wrong, I still get excited for a win and bummed over a loss, but my emotions no longer swing like a 13 year old girl on her period. I am now able to watch grown men I don't know play a game that doesn't matter and still face the world with dry eyes, no matter the outcome. I am liberated.
  9. What irks me the most about this "movement" has nothing to do with patriotism, the flag, or the anthem. The day I get my panties in a wad over some over privileged, semi-educated dip **** who wants to play the victim, remind me to go kill myself. What I find most irritating is the sense of entitlement. These asswipes have a huge platform, that far outweighs that of most of their intellectual superiors, due to the celebrity status they enjoy by virtue of the fact thay they're in the NFL. But for some of them that's not enough. They must also be permitted to shove it down our throats while they're at work. And our soy-based, pop culture media says "right on." Apparently, as long as you're part of an aggrieved minority group (even if you've never personally experienced "the struggle" of that group) you must be unconditionally permitted to "peacefully protest" anywhere and everywhere without risk of criticism.
  10. I hadn't seen that. That's terrible news. I would definitely prefer to see Rockets v Celtics. I'm tired of Warriors and Cavs.
  11. I'm surprised no one's talking about the west. The Golden State Superteam is down 3-2 to Houston and needs a win on the road to avoid elimination. To me this feels like the championship. I know there's a reason they play the games, but I don't see the Celts or Cavs having much of a chance against either of these teams.
  12. I'm going to try this at work. I keep getting held in contemt for exercising my first amendment right to kneel when ordered to rise as the judge enters the courtroom. I'm going to suggest my boss contribute a large sum of money to enable me to publicly express opinions, which are wholly unrelated to our business, under his banner. I think this will go over well.
  13. Baltimore - Flacco sucks and their D isn't what it used to be. Bills 28 Ravens 17. San Diego - "San Diego" means whale's vagina. There's no way we lose twice in a row to the biggest kitty in the world. Bills 21, Vajayjays 14. Vikings - They have a racist name, a QB most Bills fans wouldn't have traded EJ for, and their best receiver is white. Bills 17 Vikings 10. Packers - Aaron Rogers is a crippled gimp with a gay beard and no receivers. Bills 42 Packers 3. We'll go 4-0 to open the season. You heard it here first.
  14. I think the defense SHOULD be very good. Outside an abysmal 3 game stretch, they were solid last year, and they've addressed their biggest weaknesses. After Haynesworth 2.0 departed, we lacked a space eater in the middle, a pass rusher to complement Hughes, and speed at LB. We've added Loutuleili to jam up the middle, Trent Murphy to pressure the QB, and Edmunds may be the fastest LB in the NFL. We lost Gaines, but replaced him with V. Davis which is a wash +/-. Phillips and Lawson give us depth/rotation. My prediction is that we lose 3-4 key players to IR and suck because we're the Bills and God hates us, but theoretically this should be one of the best units in the league.
  15. This is the first I've heard about this.
  16. Must watch
  17. I'd rank them in order Losman Manuel Maybin I put Losman ahead of EJ because we traded up for him and blew a shot at Rogers. Maybin was the biggest bust, but picking him didn't set the franchise back like the other 2 did.
  18. If you see one of these stories and immediately assume guilt or innocence you should probably ask what it is about yourself that makes you feel that way. The truth is you have no idea. There are a lot of truly dangerous, abusive guys. There are also a lot of guys that are falsely accused for various reasons. Then there are all the other cases that fall into a gray area. A guy is convicted for DV because he bruised the wrist of the arm his wife slapped him in the face with as he slept on the couch. A girl slaps her husband once after learning he's been !@#$ing her friend. A guy is charged for forcibly throwing his wife out of the house after she threw wine in his face and while she was smashing his things. Most of these cases fall in the gray area. That's an area where damn near everyone has something in their past that would cause a stir if they were famous and it came out. If you don't you're as big a freak as anyone. I keep hearing innocent until proven guilty only matters in court, but that's wrong. We have that built into our legal system because we overwhelmingly agreed with the PRINCIPLE of giving the benefit of the doubt to someone until there's strong evidence to the contrary. You don't have to agree with a legal decision (O.J. did it) but if you're any kind of decent person, you're not going to assume the worst in someone until you're pretty damn sure what they did is as morally reprehensible as you think it is.
  19. Huh? He didn't throw any TD passes in that game. His 134 yd, 3 fumble, and 6 sack performance (one for a safety) was impressive; I just don't think it's enough to crown his ass.
  20. The Bills had the game won. All Rob Johnson did was suck.
  21. I like your optimism, but I do think we have one of the weaker receiving units in the league. That said, I do think they're better than most are giving them credit for. With Benjamin, Clay, and McCoy we have 3 very good receiving outlets. If at least one other guy steps up as a serviceable option we should be ok. My biggest concern is lack of depth. We're an injury or two away from being really bad in that department, and some of these guys don't have the best track record with staying healthy.
  22. Deshaun Watson - I read that QBs that throw under 55 mph can't succeed. When he threw 49 he came off my proverbial board.
  23. This isn't projecting who will win, it's projecting how many points each team will score. The team that scores the most points doesn't always win the game.
  24. As a 2nd team all pro I expect to see Jordan Mills on that list.
