  1. I thought it fell off in the early 2000s when the themes shifted from family relations to political points. It wasn't as overt as a lot of other entertainment of the time, but it was enough to make the show less relatable.
  2. No offense, but I didn't see much substance in your criticisms of Trump, but that's not exclusive to you. The only people I see making substantive gripes on him are people on the right. The left might as well call him a meanie and a penis head for all they do. The most specific thing I recall you saying was that his policies favor the elites. That's just an empty talking point. Where's the evidence of this? The idea that capitalists favor the elites while socialists favor the poor is just left-wing propaganda. If anything the opposite is true. It's telling that you were quite fond of Obama, whose presidency was great for the elites, but quite rough on poor people and minorities. Yet you deride Trump who has brought great economic gains to those groups. And you find Trump's border policy awful, but were fine with Obama's very similar policies. It makes me doubt your objectivity and sincerity.
  3. Does THEHARDTRUTH come off as Jimmy Spags' gay cousin to anyone else?
  4. This is the same "world" that applauded Castro and Hugo Chavez as they turned prosperous nations into impoverished ones. This is the same "world" that lacks the freedom we take for granted - emasculated populations that approve of their governments regulating and criminalizing speech. This is a world that takes for granted its ability to live in peace; one that exists because the U.S. makes it possible. It's also the hypocritical world that protects its borders while demonizing us for defending ours. If I take you at your word, the rest of the world is comprised of easily led socialists who lack any perspective of global politics or understanding of macroeconomics. Look at the results. Socialism always ends badly. If you keep doing the same thing expecting a different result, you might be insane.
  5. The other irony is that the same people who are convinced Trump is a dictator in the making have effectively pushed for the President to act as a monarch without significant constitutional or congressional constraints for 16 of the last 24 years.
  6. It's a toss up between A League of Their Own and Forest Gump.
  7. We can't all hold the high level of virtue that your self-righteous indignation seeks to communicate.
  8. This outrage is gayer that a butt-!@#$ing circle. Anyone who finds what he said offensive has **** for brains. Fortunately for them, you don't have to have any sense to get offended.
  9. He was the resident homer for years. Then he fell deeply in love with Doug Whaley. Once his true love was jettisoned he became scornful and embittered. Suddenly the rainbows and sunshine turned to storm clouds and gloom.
  10. I grew up in the south and typically refer to the specific drink, or say soda when referring to carbonated drinks generally. I'm told we call everything Coke, but I've never heard anyone call a Sprite a Coke.
  11. There's a huge difference between using a word in a derogatory manner and making reference to someone else saying it. There's nothing offensive about saying "It's inappropriate to call someone a inward." If you happen to be offended by that you might be a moron.
  12. If it were one or two people I wouldn't mention it. The point is that it's not a fringe movement, but rather it's the mainstream American left. I'm not suggesting that you personally do this, but it's very pervasive among your political comrades. And we don't whine about name calling, we call you on your bull ****. There is a subtle difference. Crying about mean talk is what you guys do. But what has me heated has nothing to do with the insane rantings of angry lesbians, desperate spinsters, and emasculated soy boys. They can call me a white supremacist. I don't care. I scratch them off my balls like fleas. Their names don't hurt my fragile feelings or leave me feeling violated or assaulted. What has me heated is the uptick in violence and violent rhetoric along with the systematic dehumanization that's being pushed by the mainstream left and applauded by many if not most of the rank and file.
  13. The left are the people that call for personal harassment and violence against political adversaries and justify it by whining about [accurately] being called snowflakes and Trump saying mean things, as though the two are comparable. They're literally calling for violence while crying about name calling. And they want to be taken seriously? It's also funny you call out Trump supporters for being thin skinned. The media sucked Obama's dick off non-stop for 8+ years and you people still soaked a tampon everytime someone ripped on him. Trump AND his supporters have been constantly and maliciously attacked as nazis and bigots for the last 2 years, which takes more courage to stand up against than anything any leftist faces. Then when we call you out on the absurd slander and obvious bias and lies you say "who's the snowflake now," and wonder why we laugh at you. If you can't handle being accurately called snowflake and still you try to rip on someone who CAN handle being falsely called a nazi as thin skinned, you might be a (*^*&%^$^#of epic proportions.
  14. That's ok. That'll backfire quicker than Operation You're a Nazi. Everyone loves watching a bully take a beating.
  15. I'd like to see a "drop a commie" campaign where all decent people find one scumbag leftist they know who cheers on and advocates violence against conservatives, and beat the piss out of them. These !@#$s may not be so quick with their calls for violence when they become the targets of it.
  16. I was really overthinking this thing. The answer was right in front of me the whole time and I just couldn't see it.
  17. As a homophobe I find that show offensive.
  18. I'm conflicted here. As a white supremacist I want to see a black man go to jail, but as a mysogynist I think that men are allowed to beat women, so I can't decide which side to take.
  19. There was a case a while back where a guy killed his family and had his friend shoot him so he would look like a victim. There was another case where a woman accused her husband of beating her and had the bruises to prove it until video surfaced of her inflicting her own wounds. These cases are rare, but they do happen. With how little we know about this case, and how odd what we do know is, no decent person would be quick to jump to conclusions. FTR, I don't find it much harder to believe that someone would take a beating like that if they thought they'd get millions of dollars than to believe a multi-millionaire celebrity would risk everything for some jewelry and an expedited eviction. Both are pretty bizarre.
  20. If you're trolling, bravo. If not you should quit now. You're embarrassing yourself.
  21. I see mainstream conservatives denouncing the "alt-right" all the time. Can't say I see the same from the left wrt antifa and the like. In fact, all I hear are excuses. It's funny that the right's fringe keeps being equated to the left's base to draw a false equivalence.
  22. Is it you or your parents in this income tax bracket?
