Songs that remind you of the Bills

I call bull ****. This sounds like the typical liberal "I was going to vote for <insert moderate Republican eunuch> until he said x, so now I'm voting for the socialist." Criticizing a man falsely accused of sexual assault for his temperament in defending himself is the equivalent of criticizing a rape victim for being emotional when recounting her story. Your wife sounds like a real peach. Apparently men who get it are sympathetic to their accusers because they understand how traumatic the attack they never experienced can be. Kavanaugh's an !@#$ because he's standing his ground, and he won't back down.

I think this is one of those situations where all the lefties who are going to get fired up and motivated are the hardcore types that were already going to vote and vote Democrat. I'm seeing a lot of moderate liberals who see this for the shameless exploitation of a sensitive issue it is and are put off by it.

The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency
Rob's House replied to Nanker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I don't think the media would have waged the war that got them to that point. If Obama had made the comments about the Mexican border that Trump did the media would have quickly developed a much stronger grasp of the English language and discussed what was actually said rather than what it kind of sounded like if you weren't paying attention and took English as a second language. -

I still contend that if he said all the same things but had a D after his name they would defend him. -
The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency

I'm still waiting for a rational explanation for why this guy is being portrayed as the scum of the earth. The more they **** on him the more I like him. -
What I find most interesting about this, and most other topics that spark leftist outrage, is that despite how blatantly obvious it is that no one actually gives a **** about the underlying accusations, millions of leftists falsely believe that they themselves care deeply and passionately about this issue. We know for a fact they don't because they only care when it's politically advantageous. The most obvious illustration of this is their summary dismissal of far more credible and serious accusations against Bill Clinton, but the examples are countless. The interesting part is that they don't know. Sure, the Washington power brokers and media elites know, but the rank and file lefties truly believe their intentions are good, and earnest, and true. They really are useful idiots.

Steelers listening to trade offers for Leveon Bell
Rob's House replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think this guy's worth anywhere near what he's asking for and I don't think he's going to get it. He's good, but he plays a position that doesn't command top pay and has a short shelf-life. He was lucky to have the opportunity to get tagged again and he'll most likely regret this move as much as any team that comes close to meeting his demands will regret doing so. -
He fears death.

When Fitz played for Houston he had a game eerily similar. I told my buddy (Houstn fan) at half time Fitz would bring them back then turn it over in the game winning drive. Damn if he didn't do it. But I love Fitz and I hope he pulls this one out. -

Opposing defenses will adjust to Allen going forward
Rob's House replied to TigerJ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tyrod's scooting is more limited in that he can only run around defenders. Allen can run through them or jump over them if he feels so inclined. -
This was easily our biggest win since knocking off Miami last year.

Just as I didn't think the Bills were as bad as they looked the first two weeks, I don't think they're as good as they looked last week. I still think this is a very winnable game. Green Bay isn't that good to begin with, and they're in pretty bad shape. They've lost key players to injury, Rogers is gimpy, and their best pass rusher isn't allowed to sack the QB. I'm not going to bet $5k on it, but I won't be at all surprised if the Bills put a whoopin on the cheese eating fudge Packers this Sunday.

Are We The Worst Bills Fans Since The Polian Years?
Rob's House replied to Rob's House's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually, I don't give that much of a !@#$ either way. If the team wins I'm happy, if they lose I think about what they could do to be better next year. If I'm busting on you for being in ****ty fan denial I might resent you for your ****ty fandom, or I might be misappropriating a line from Billy Madison because it amuses me. If I rip the F.O. and call a rookie a bust 2 games into his career, I may be bitter and angry, or I may be chuckling to myself as I post it, and then chuckling again when an autistic poster tells me how wrong I am. Which is it? I won't tell. Where will it stop? No one knows. Like I said before bring on the moes and hoes. I'm like a mystery wrapped in a tortilla. -

I feel like you're in ****ty fan denial. Don't sweat it, you're not alone.
