  1. I like the brawls too. The subversive fascist, Don Lemon, and the lispy kunt he had on, talk of their propensity for violence as they themselves support antifa, who Lemon refers to as "anti-fascist". The reality is that Proud Boys don't go to antifa events looking for a fight. They stomp the antifa who come to their events looking for a fight.
  2. I was thinking the same thing. The idea is to have video of women and children seeking "asylum" and being turned away so they can push the narrative that Trump and the GOP are xenophobic racists with no compassion for oppressed "brown people" right before the midterms. Their problem is that 1) it's painfully transparent to anyone who isn't a far-left loon, and 2) most people, including independents and moderate Democrats, don't like the idea of thousands of illegal aliens (excuse me, undocumented workers) crashing the border.
  3. Here's the propaganda: And here's the reality:
  4. I'm 5 episodes in and so far it's pretty good, although slow at times, but I can't tell at this point whether they're building to a conclusion that wraps up the story or if they're setting the stage for an on-going soap opera that follows the lives of the characters indefinitely. I'm hoping for the former but fearing it's the latter.
  5. Personally, I think we should follow the left's lead on health insurance. They were able to double the cost in only 4 years. I think they know what they're doing. Because Republicans are nazis.
  6. You can't possibly lack the intellect to distinguish between prohibition and compulsion.
  7. Canada didn't do away with capitalism. They have implemented some socialist policies, and nationalized segments of their economy, but the overall economy is still based on a capitalist system.
  8. He's a propagandist posing as a comedic talk show host. His specialty is making dishonest and idiotic rhetoric sound legitimate to the liberal ear by saying it with an accent.
  9. It would be a waste of time. I'd just suffer through a stream of cognitive dissonance with platitudes about rich people and corporations hording all the money. For these guys it's not an intellectual exercise. It's an identity.
  10. It's amazing how these types never ask themselves the simple questions, like "can you name a country that's ever eliminated poverty by doing away with capitalism?" A commie friend of mine said today that we should have a shared collective economy. He acknowledged that it could lead to slavery, but only in the hands of a dictator like Trump. I asked him who the good, benevolent people who would run it were, and how would you prevent a dictator from taking power. No response.
  11. You guys are letting the cat out of the bag. It's been my dream to see Cory Booker run against Trump since I saw an over-educated 30-something virgin gush about what a great Presidential candidate he'd make, after his amateurish speech at the 2016 DNC. Is it sadistic on my part? Maybe. Would it be fun to watch? Absolutely. The only way it happens is if the Dems think he can win. That won't happen if we openly mock the guy for being a stooge. They have to think we fear or respect him.
  12. I think you have to go with Cory Booker. Every moderate Republican and independent I know has said they would vote for him.
  13. It would be more accurate if that bus was carrying her water.
  14. I never heard of Avenatti until about a month ago and now I keep hearing his name mentioned as a Democrat Presidential nominee. Does he have some other claim to fame other than being a porn lawyer, or is trying (and failing) to publicly smear Trump all it takes to get in the conversation?
  15. I don't think they will either, nor do I want them to at this point. I'm speaking more generally to the dogmatic view that you never draft QBs high two years in a row.
  16. He serves a purpose. It's a lot easier to hit home runs when you've got a guy tossing meatballs across the middle of the plate. Same reason CNN puts a weak "Republican" on the panel who will tee it up for the 7 liberal pundits.
  17. I was thinking the same thing. Admittedly, the whole discussion is a bit premature wrt Allen, but at the end of EJ's rookie year anyone with eyes knew that he was too awkward to become a franchise guy. Allen definitely looks smoother, and is playing with an inferior supporting cast, but by year's end they should have a pretty good idea of what they have in him. If the outlook is grim, I'd hate to pass on the next Derek Carr because of a commitment to the sunk cost in the next EJ.
  18. If you read the dude's post you'd understand that he's not speaking from impatience. He's suggesting that Allen's development may benefit from having a few weeks off to regroup and take the pressure off him. You may disagree with that approach, but your certainty in your own opinion makes you guilty of exactly the level of hubris you accuse him of.
  19. It's funny how many fans are pissed at Benjamin based on fake news.
  20. I think they need to determine if starting now is helping or hurting Allen's development. There could be some positives to starting Anderson: it gives Allen a chance to take a step back and study the game without the pressure of trying to win, and it would help to assess the rest of the offense. It would also help to determine how much of the offense's problems are due to Allen's play. It might help Allen to sit for a few weeks and regroup before going back in.
