I'm not bitching about it but I do think it's a fair criticism. People always criticize meddling owners. Look at what we said about Al Davis and Jerry Jones. Why should it be any different for her? In fact, the criticism is stronger with her because they were football guys their whole lives and knew the ropes inside and out. Kim's a newb whose only been on the scene for 4 years.

I hear you, but even it that instance I think it makes a difference whether the person in power is leveraging their relative positions or whether it's genuinely consensual. I get that sometimes those waters get murky and agree that the person in power should exercise caution and avoid initiating when in doubt.

The demise of the office romance is not a positive for women. It's a damn shame for both men and women. Contrary to popular belief, most women like romance and sex, and that doesn't necessarily cease to be when they walk in the office. I can't tell you the number of women I've known personally who happily, willingly, and eagerly have sexual relations with coworkers. I'm pretty sure they would not prefer the male coworkers they like to join the sexless, sterilized castrati you advocate for.

I think it's less about what he said and more about how he said it. If he just said something along the lines of "I want to make every team who passed on me regret it" no one would care. But he conveyed the same basic message in about the lamest fashion imaginable. It sort of put the exclamation point on what a lot of people had been saying about him for a while.

I sometimes wonder how much of that is cause and how much is effect. Teams that are down late tend to take more chances and throw more passes which increase the risk of turnovers. As far as not all turnovers being equal, a 40 yd bomb that gets picked off is really no worse than a punt. A pick 6 or fumble near the LOS can be a game changer. Personally, I like a QB who'd rather risk the int on a deep ball and give you a chance at a big play than the guy who checks down on 3rd and long to protect his stat sheet. -

I haven't watched his game tape, but I hear he has a high motor. More importantly, he has a tendency to carry his lunch in a pail. That's good enough for me. -
I like Allen and Mayock, but this is the same guy who said, and I quote, "EJ Manuel doesn't completely suck dangling donkey balls." He's not infallible.
