    meh. I don’t think that he’s in a highest bidder situation so much as is he still excited/enjoying. A big offer would be great but I suspect giving him a true blank check book for assistants, etc… maybe some upgrades in facilities and such… might get him more than an extra couple bucks

    I think the Steelers being completely neutered by Rudolph would’ve been better for us. The Steelers win with an oddball explosive play not by running 300 times

He’s still on a team that hasn’t been at the top. he’s not looking for a top ten season from his team. It’s a window where the expectation is to play a game or two in February

    reframed, this was likely a graphic that started at some time Friday/Saturday and progressed hour by hour through the weekend with an updated total accumulation at each of those hours… so you are seeing a screenshot of the final total

    even if you trust him, if it’s less than 2-3 yards the right choice for expected points scored is to go for it

    Counter: a throw in the end zone has a much higher odds of a touchdown or pass interference than a punt does

    likewise hard to say he would never have gotten some other qb. he’s a great coach but great coaches need talent. It’s hard to pull a team apart and say any one member would win rings or not without the other important pieces.

    yea the unspoken truth of the success of the patriot way is essentially don’t let the other 52 lose the game for you and have a qb that can win any and every game for you. but Mac Jones will lose games for you. Really, most qbs will do that. They need to acknowledge the real patriot way if they are going to fix the result

    im not sure “not in the prime of his career yet” is fair. If not in that range now, when would he be?

    defending oneself: he’s hitting me I need to hit back to immediately stop this attention seeking: we both keep walking away but chirping while we do it so it takes 3 years and 14 short slap fights while a crowd eggs us on who started the second doesn’t much matter.
