  1. It’s always funny when guys that are hanging on the soap opera make fun of the participants for being too Hollywood
  2. for an injury he’s been medically cleared on?
  3. He’s probably going to play with his model trains too
  4. minus the all pro qb of course
  5. I don’t think flacco is a long haul answer. he came in with no film on how he’d be running the offense and just like a backup can often win a few games before coming back to earth- I think the browns offense will too with him
  6. he’s always been a favorite of mine (kromer) his history developing jahri evans, and Carl nicks at guard have me excited about the clay he has with ocyrus… I was admittedly nervous about the fit but it seems the floor is pretty high and ceiling could be rare air
  7. I mean even referencing Von is like saying you are worried about the weather against New England because the team played poorly when getting cooked in Miami last year. sure, it’s still weather, like it’s still an injury…. But it’s pretty substantially unrelated maybe not an upgrade from peak tre- but I think what we have seen of post injury from tre puts rasul as an equal or better player. Put another way: our defense isn’t worse playing rasul this weekend.
  8. the team not going to the playoffs, with a fired coach, missing all their stars and having a buzz saw coming to tear through them The team is a new move to LA and LA is a transient market surely nothing better to do with your Saturday night in LA
  9. I’d assume to get a first we’d have to send back a first and would be moving up not just getting one. but I’d also assume the cardinals would rather just draft a wr
  10. that he’s not good enough to start for them next year or beyond is a non financial consideration. We can argue semantics if you want. Tyrod was similarly benched here because he was not good enough and it was financially risky to let the guy that’s not good enough to be there long term start short term based on his contract structure.
  11. because his expected contributions going forward don’t mesh with his financial compensation and they don’t want to risk the associated commitment long term so it’s not purely financial.
  12. so we are arguing that Payton is benching him for 2022? come on Weo, I know you’ve got better in there
  13. Had he made 2025 not guaranteed for injury, that may have been the plan but they weren’t risking him for two more years
  14. I don’t think you are serious with this argument. You can do better than that.
  15. A contract he’s wildly underperforming and a playoff shot that is quite slim…
  16. he would also be on a huge winning streak, and may erase the memory of the jets opener. It’s a shame that game put such a stain on his reputation
  17. If it’s best performance at a position, it’s cmc, tyreek, josh if it’s most substantial impact on a game it’s Josh
  18. he was a third string running back that was falling out of favor. If rolling in injured players (ie Hines) he may be as low as RB6 on the overall chart depending on how the team views guys in the grand scheme of stories, it’s pretty low on interest levels
  19. What are we watching on pcock now, guys?!?
  20. yea, it’s a spot where it’s important to coach your guys on the risk of a flag
  21. Poyer hit him for no reason
  22. it was a fair call
  23. Don’t like a Bernard injury
  24. not shocked that kick 2 was testing him once they knew he’d be back there
  25. new coach, not much film on the qb…. I’m guessing they were a little soft and trying to see where the offense would go. If it’s a few drives I’ll have real questions
