  1. I haven’t seen the latest CBA updates but last I saw the DUI policy it is simply under the influence, not of specific substances. You get popped for one you get X punishment. you likely haven’t seen a suspension as there have likely been few to no charges of the specific situation.
  2. drugs and dui are pretty spelled out in the CBA. He’s got a good bit of exposure here it seems but the gun issue would be the only conduct detrimental concern.
  3. to my knowledge DUI is DUI and Adderall wouldn’t reduce it. If anything, he’d get an offense in the drug program in addition to the DUI and not a lesser punishment. but if he’s got a prescription and is registered with the league it would potentially change things in this hypothetical prescribed Adderall DUI... but it’s not in the dui policy and would need to be some variety of common sense appeal. only pause is if it’s bad enough usage to pop him for dui, odds are the league stance would be he was unlikely to be using it per his prescribed guidelines, potentially. and he still has an open container issue. And potentially a gun issue. And all that extra risk for him may make his plea bargain a little less generous. And the league less likely to accept “I know I had an open container but was just on Adderall” appeal to them enforcing their policy.
  4. he should! Unfortunately he might scare us more too. This year should be a slam dunk for him. Curious to see where it goes from there though. Will be an exciting ride wherever it ends.
  5. it is! but not a hugely meaningful one. TT was a pro bowl and playoff qb for us.
  6. For much of the league, a wildcard birth isn’t near the accomplishment this board makes it out to be. it’s still a good season, and not trashing the team but it’s not a major feat either.
  7. fair assessment based on the little we know
  8. that ignores the cap implication. You could, in theory, sign a good player and take the draft pick still instead of trading for the good player. that said, I’m still not terribly opposed to trading high picks. Just cap is a cost most don’t consider in the equation
  9. Hoping for the best but discussing the range of possibilities instead of just looking for loopholes in the story that would be best case seems to be how I read him. theres, unfortunately, a few things that may or may not break Ed’s way... and I think most here are assuming (out of hope) he will get most of those, while Weo is discussing some of the reasons those may not play out in his favor
  10. He types one handed for an entirely different reason than you
  11. Heck, won’t be a popular one but Diggs has to be a candidate to possibly step back coming to an all new offense with everything going on.
  12. I think it’s easy to argue a player could improve and see less production. the Op didn’t specifically say stats or quality of play. The two items don’t always go hand in hand.
  13. I’ll say brown on offense. not because of statistics or less targets- just doesn’t have that highly consistent past before last year. He didn’t string together constant months on end yet alone seasons. not using it as a knock but if forced to choose and guy for a guy that might go back to their average- he was a bit above that mark last year. Dawkins should be motivated but might be a guy that suffers being out of the building.
  14. we are on a message board shooting out opinions. if he wanted to go start a rally on the courthouse steps, sure, chill out... but it’s fine to go with a “based on the little we know I think this” conversation. He didn’t chisel anything into stone here.
  15. Embarrassing take
  16. AOL.com? Do they give you like 50 free hours of reading when you sign up?
  17. for 32 orgs? Ideally yea but no shame in not realizing. Especially Carolina and buffalo that aren’t getting a lot of Midwest Tv time
  18. Yea not knowing a DC and personnel guy is pretty reasonable
  19. and he could already be stage 1, we wouldn’t know for sure, right?
  20. How old was he? If under 21 it’s zero tolerance on consumption in many places.
  21. substance abuse is a CBA negotiated punishment, it’s separate from the dui, if he doesn’t have a script. It would simply be his (presumably but not definitely) first offense. nah, this could count as an offense. Good call and important distinction that a few guys have flubbed before
  22. I know a lot of folks hate the late game INTs from him (for good reason) but I did appreciate him taking shots he normally wouldn’t instead of playing it safe on final drives. Unfortunately when windows get tighter and you can’t wait for another drive, he just didn’t have the god given arm talent.
  23. Why would your friend have access to that?
  24. heck, I’m good with going to the AFCCG... but they need to win the division and win in the playoffs this year, realistically. once on those big stages there’s some luck but over 16 they need to win the division regardless and should win a home playoff game from there.
  25. May have additionally had pupil issues etc... I’d assume that if close to on the fence many end up “failing” to get a blood draw out of it.
