  1. also the ever true reality that we are guests in SDS’s house and were never guaranteed any semblance of perfect consistency - so no need to argue with your take here. its a pretty reasonable bend, if a bend at all, and no ones forcing anyone into the thread. not to get too far off the topic but I think it’s a good occasional reminder to let some of the entitlement go and just enjoy this for what it is and sidestep what you don’t like.
  2. id argue that giving an accurate conclusion that it didn’t establish causation but suggests there may be a relation is actually solid science. It didn’t oversell conclusions
  3. we never thought the pressure was on the pats cause we were picking high. We are the better team and they have to out due him just to close the gap yet alone talk about passing him
  4. terrible offense no doubt. has it actually been a worse offseason than normal? I haven’t followed closely but with nearly 3k guys either signed or around the fringe of rosters (entering draft, recently unemployed etc...) it makes sense you’ll see some arrests and some vile ones mixed in there.
  5. Getting off the hook for any is a win for Carolina, as is getting any compensation at all if bridgewater wants to start, every day he can get in his new system is big. if the two sides don’t play nice in getting something done they both lose as Carolina has no incentive to cut him earlier than they need to, as an insurance policy if nothing else... and then Carolina gets stuck with a full hit and bridgewater wastes a season.
  6. I’d be hard pressed to see them spend over $30m on a qb room with that being the depth chart. carolina did seem interested in taysom though so maybe that could be part of the send back
  7. lucky for him He can negotiate any contract he wants with the new team
  8. I can’t confirm this but I think you might be the only one following him on IG.
  9. i think from entering to the needle hitting the trash can might’ve been 90 seconds at cvs for me
  10. hed probably be a safe and reliable caretaker there. Not winning many games for them but not losing many either.
  11. Marshawn and gronk go to the moon. Reality tv at its finest. honestly, I’d watch them do just about anything together
  12. Or like a 2017 one that hasn’t played super well
  13. ol Kirby used to say similar a lot and I agree with both of you. One imposing player in the front 7 and a solid offensive mismatch would really round out the team after going 0-2 I’m not sure I’m solidly on the same 6/4 split train. though I am curious about an honest assessment of how crippled our WR room was that day. Seemed several guys would’ve been sitting out had it been September and not January
  14. while the name catches more interest by being a top guy... if they just said checking out ND OL you probably would assume the others and not him so including he was among those scouted lends pertinent content too.
  15. no that was just the procedure. Diamond was extra.
  16. “among the players they were viewing was...” vs ”probably the reason they are at ND”
  17. it very clearly states that it’s to maintain safety
  18. If we are building an offense to put up points I’m cool with our defensive line being a bit speedier to get to the qb in a shootout Plus prospects that late are maybe a coin flip? Doubling up helps the odds
  19. it’s not a conscience that’s the issue it’s that he has major legal issues and very well may be on the list soon. Teams aren’t trying to give the 3rd or 6th pick for a guy that very well may miss this year and more. one of the accusations is from after they started coming forward.
  20. I don’t think anyone’s upset. I’m fine with the bills having essentially zero cost associated with controlling an extra piece of talent... But on some level I think you cycle new guys into the opportunity based on what the program is. the dude turns 30 this off-season. If he sticks in the program the full year again we are talking about a 31 year old running back with zero Nfl snaps. I’m not sure that’s a great success even in the best case of competing for a roster spot but maybe a younger guy could parlay the opportunity into a bit more of a career instead of a fun jaunt working out overseas for decent money.
  21. letting them stash him might be making it harder for him to stick for real at some point. Dude has to make the jump sooner rather than later.
  22. honestly, for all involved, I think the bigger question is who he was associated with for a gang task force to nab him. making a shady purchase is one thing, but being in a gang related crowd when back home in the offseason could be a solid red flag
  23. If you enjoy the bball season you will likely despise some of the football ones. Jason brown was awful. Bad coach. Bad human.
  24. fair takes on both.
  25. Yea but you hang around the elementary school A LOT. Which we’ve all been meaning to talk to you about.
