    football outsiders had the bills as the most inconsistent in their history. if you take only our bad games and small portions of our blowout wins, it makes sense we would look bad.

    with no long term commitment - I’d be totally ok with him as a package player. He wouldn’t walk in full time day 1 anyway. Let him play short yardage through the stretch and release him

    with their combined zero rings. and at the end of this year, still zero rings. we will have clunkers. We will lose some games. Know who we held under 4 yards per carry in the playoffs last year? we have a good team and good scheme. It’s rare a back will actually manage that, when compared to how often a qb can do real damage.

    I think they can, but if not getting a bye that path gets much more difficult. every team goes through some “working things out” and hopefully we hit the home stretch with momentum and not lingering issues. If we sweep the pats, we are 100% a contender and that’s very possible

    Mute the announcers, stop logging into 100 sites to analyze every call, and watch on a low def 32 inch tv and you will feel like you did back in the 90s watching. as much as anything, the supposed increase in bad calls is our hyper critical approach to analyzing every last play

    It’s 15 years of 13+ sacks. It’s essentially a full career in the top 10 annually. impossible? No. But will take a lot of luck as only so many guys have that skill and almost any injuries would wreck the consistency required and the duration is rare too.

    Not a game I’d worry about- but the qb has been serviceable, defense elite, and pass catchers trash. if they can play some ball control and bills aren’t sharp it could turn into a game

    he practiced yesterday. We will see if it’s just a vet rest day or aggravated it. honestly a banged up kamara playing this week and having a short week behind it is probably better for us then him sitting out and being in better shape later

    Id be curious about the great contract note. where’s the tipping point where you think he loses that value? I’d argue he’s a decent depth player being paid as a respectable starter. That’s not to try to crush him. You need those guys. But not sure he’s a contract you celebrate

    hes being paid 6M a year. If that is underrated for a package player… he’s a nice piece. Not a guy I pay on that tier though not crazy out of line.

    yea either that or the angle made it look much worse- or both. it wasn’t laziness or anything though. Clearly he would like a big touchdown.

    it never felt like they’d throw the same flags for him Though. Those two things can co-exist

    it’s hard to assemble a strong defense, pay a qb AND have a complete offense. that’s going to be a common thread and we will need to draft excellent. There’s a reason why I beat the “go all in” drum the last two years.
