  1. So dramatic. presnap we give him a lot of freedom. If he checked into some fast breaking routes that kept the defense more honest, it might help. No one implied every down. he’s getting a good bit of the read of the defense pre snap and a lot more in the first 2-3 steps they take. If instead of exhausting the downfield he sometimes sequenced quicker good outcomes might happen is all.
  2. I just find it hard to believe this group thought they were owed something and wouldn’t have to earn it as the reason. Even if an opponent wants to use the “we want it more” to hype his own roster. You mean the common sense answer instead of throwing out everything we know about this group?
  3. that is horrific to the point I highly question its accuracy. The guys would be getting hit at the exchange. On every single play. do you believe 8 inches before contact would seem abnormal by your eye?
  4. brought it up after Tennessee as a frustration that night. Was not great.
  5. I think some of our fans were more comfortable with an actual bad team than a good team that will some weeks underwhelm
  6. I think I saw a lot of talk about them mailing it in but not sure
  7. some weeks you just suck. im sure we all have those days.
  8. It was a bad week. Toughen up, Nancy.
  9. 18 would probably do you in pretty good. that said, in the good ol college days, a number like that over the course of a 10pm to 4am kind of night could be managed if staying active, hydrated, fed, and not just pounding 18 shots of whiskey in a half hour. Especially if the bars aren’t pouring heavy and a few of glasses you don’t actually finish fully. you start doing that volume and 5% at the bottom of the glass becomes a full drink not consumed, misplace 1-2 partials along the the way, etc…
  10. that’s a very real consideration in why it’s not just run of the mill dangerous driving. This is an order of magnitude worse. Ruggs was essentially shooting a gun down Main Street. As noted earlier, I don’t think it’s the first time he’s pulled the trigger, just the first time he hit something.
  11. 91 is joshs responsibility as a read and neutralize with his own decision
  12. I think we can all agree on: it would be shocking to find out this was his first drunk driving incident it would be shocking to find out he never drove well over 100 before
  13. I do wonder if he’s missing the mark on the “being there for him at 3am” sentiment this isn’t the high school kid nervous about getting in trouble making a bad choice trying to get home. the man decided to joy ride at the most extreme levels.
  14. There’s less than zero chance. They’d make the team sign Street free agents before postponing the super bowl
  15. any respectable team would draw a hard boundary of not monitoring this service. It’s to keep guys out of the news, not to give them a hard time
  16. I amend my previous comment to say he is lucky to only get 20 years
  17. realistically, if shooting in the dark completely… somewhat viable odds he gets 2 years- reduced with good behavior. Misses this year and next… and then maybe he comes back. For tryouts for the 2023 season. but it’s too early to say how likely it is.
  18. 6 ft 5 in 1/8 8.03 and 5.76 being their percentiles on a 1-10
  19. they are all nfl players, and often the line between 3 tds and 3 ints can be inches… but I’m not betting the house any more than when fitz occasionally had big games with Stevie. Did you think those were “extra motivation” or just you roll a couple dice enough and the number sometimes comes up?
  20. no. I think the pats proved getting a top seed against soft opponents is much more important than a crushing schedule
  21. no. Nor do I think a drunk driver does. And when they had multiple mishaps with firearms that only happen if flaunting the rules, proceed to remove the crew for their safety concerns, not regroup and implement proper protocol, and then end up killing someone as a result of continuing to ignore that protocol…. intent starts to become secondary to reckless disregard for safety. I don’t think he intended to kill anybody but I don’t think he intended to keep them safe either. indeed. It should’ve been on their body and they should’ve brought it on scene. The early reports that the AD grabbed it off a table and handed it over without checking are not good. everyone in a risk management role on site deserves to be ruined by this if the early reports are accurate.
  22. I agree that guys should be treated respectfully and will say I have no resentment towards the money. I’m all about celebrating the rewards for his success. the digits in the contract mean he could manage his privacy at his hearts desire or whim. He literally has the resources to create any type of bubble around himself that he wants. I think that’s a great for him! Doesn’t want fans bugging him for dinner? He can get a private room at any restaurant in the city or have a dinner party at home. In the mood for a little more attention, he can pull the curtain back. what I don’t like is fans policing fans on silly stuff and acting like it moves the needle on whether guys want to play here. It just makes for meaningless bickering that no one is better for and does not move the needle at all. josh is totally empowered to create any experience he wants. He doesn’t need inigo (or anyone else) telling people how to act. Simply, hes not a prisoner of the moment needing protection- he’s achieved the opportunity to have anything he wants. It’s Buffalo, it’s not like throngs of paparazzi are mobbing him everywhere he goes and he’s met with Beatles like crowds at his doorstep.
  23. They don’t need you white knighting for them. He has a $258M contract. The dude has every resource in the world at his disposal. He doesn’t need inigo Montoya telling people how to act around him.
  24. I was not a fan of the sanders move but he’s pleasantly surprised me
