  1. cam and Watson don’t have too much in common currently
  2. its not. But i wouldn’t want him eating leftover sushi or snowboarding this week either. if he pops positive and we lose a couple guys it would be unfortunate and preventable by common sense. The next month should be pretty much a bubble for the guys. If he had to travel, private plane, box with his family and not out in a crowd of fans, right? That’s not politics- that’s common sense on what might be the best chance of his career to get a ring. says the fan of a football team
  3. surely he knew it but going 100 mph you aren’t thinking. Coach should’ve reminded him with the call… “hey it’s a keeper, get down before 15 yards and hand the ball to the ref so he can spot it”
  4. Yup- good chance that sanders/beasley money shifts towards him
  5. you may as well have two plays called and warn the refs. Dak giving the ball to the center instead of ref was a bigger mistake than the call. Blame the coaches for not prepping the player more than the call itself.
  6. The call would’ve been fine if the players knew how to execute
  7. I think the point got missed though. It wasn’t that Lee smith was a bad player, just that it was a dumb role for a vet TE to be a pure in line blocker. Put a cheap young developmental OT there and you get as good if not better blocking, save money, and give a guy invaluable live reps at a position that has had its contact practice opportunities gutted.
  8. ive said for years it was a waste to have Lee smith in those packages instead of a developmental tackle give the young man some live bullets to develop
  9. have you been around kids? Or seen bills son specifically? You’d stick to coaching.
  10. He will be on the roster but lisfranc injuries only have like a 75% return rate by hes timeline to start the season so he is unlikely to be counted on as a primary option to start. he will miss the whole offseason, and possibly start of the season, as a low grade option to begin with.
  11. Free agent so tbd
  12. With taysoms foot injury, I think the Saints could be a landing spot.
  13. Generally, sure but being angry and distracted/distracting seems to be his permanent state this year. I’m not super stressed on it but for about 12 months now he’s perpetually sought negative attention with no benefit to himself… Though now was the time to work some of that out before the playoffs
  14. third and 3, would you feel good about any run but a qb keeper? that answers your question.
  15. the volume determines the number. the quality of contract determines the round for each
  16. If he’s hurt he can drop off his helmet and talk to trainers. Coaches would be notified to stop calling his number and he would be instructed to head in for treatment. just hanging out and refusing to go in and then doing that when told if he can’t go in that he has to be out… not how it works even if he’s hurt
  17. Health, and mental health in particular, is pretty wild man. It often exists in more than a binary. Like, there are degrees of unwell. A spectrum even! and get this- being unwell doesn’t mean actions are acceptable. so it’s ok to think brown is likely a bit outside the norm with his mental well being. someone with his track record can be unwell, be an a*****, receive a deserve consequence, and still find compassion. not every mental health issue is a train wreck. Plenty are more akin to high cholesterol or a sprained ankle. AB is pretty far beyond those tiers though. He deserves consequences, and hopefully also finds help. Otherwise how long til we find out he’s dead or in jail for a loooong time? Because he’s ill and spiraling and needs something to intervene before he loses more. That’s not just being an ass, even if yes he is an ass too.
  18. Except Kanye can be good at his forever. AB is essentially at his expiration date
  19. would you call someone narcissistic on that scale to be of good mental health?
  20. I bet a lot of big stunts stem from mental health deficiencies even if walking out was planned it doesn’t mean it was of sane mind
  21. Believe it or not, there are guys with immense talent that don’t even make it to the nfl yet alone out together a career like his. Yea, he might not get his gold jacket. But he’s not the biggest waste out there. Faaaaaaaar from it.
  22. It’s an unfortunate finish but to call his career the biggest waste ever is a bit dramatic. He fulfilled a huge percentage of his potential.
  23. a few things come to mind with the worries about losing Daboll/Dorsey… 1) in a lot of ways - josh is the system at this point 2) there’s not a shortage of guys out there that could come in with similar verbiage and concepts 3) based on point 1, would all those pass catchers be happy if someone came in and installed an identity that stretched beyond putting it all on josh. For instance is gabe Davis a better receiver with a strong run game and josh not taking a beating, even if he needs to learn a few new reads.
