  1. his chest tattoo screamed that he follows social norms and has good discretion
  2. do we believe that if the local team stressed the situation and a desire to move the game with a need to get out before the storm that the league would give a firm no until just after the airport closes, leaving them hunkered down the rest of the week? I suspect the team had a wait and see approach pointing at the Saturday window to bail. I could be proven wrong and the league refused to hear their arguments. real talk: move into the visitors locker room, and practice on a different schedule. It’s not like the lions are overwhelmingly using the space day to day
  3. though there’s no reason to think he’d have the same injury here, right?
  4. I mean, I think if someone were to look at each of our posts, yours may objectively be more emotional and overreacting but go ahead
  5. you make the call early, and get on the plane before it starts? I too hate when the team can practice or follow an easy routine process
  6. You did read the post I was replying to noting letting him be ready for next year? That would be 22 months from injury to return. To even suggest writing off the rest of this year would indeed be incredibly noteworthy.
  7. ACL injuries aren’t 2 year issues in the modern nfl unless something was catastrophically wrong out of the gate. Sure you might see a hammy or some cleanup but this is becoming noteworthy in its unique handling. frankly, it seemed the team doctors thought he might’ve been back 6 weeks ago when debating how to list him back at Labor Day
  8. perspective is a hell of a thing. Someone could argue the playoffs mean little and we are nearing a 30 year run without a Super Bowl appearance and franchise history lacking any Super Bowl wins.
  9. There is also no reason to be overly cautious as we would be better with him
  10. they could just as easily run that as drop 3 of them
  11. Hard count and hope the vikes jump, 5 yards. They’d be real eager as the clock hits 1 second and Gabe gets behind. They don’t jump after a full round, hope you catch them frozen more worried about the penalty than giving up a yard on the sneak.
  12. I would’ve been totally fine with a delay of game or 3 before snapping it honestly
  13. i kind of wish they would’ve gone hard count too cause who cares about half the distance but 5 yards (or slightly slowing the rush) would be huuuge.
  14. They need to get the peanut butter to jelly ratio back on track.
  15. yup. Ran that play like he was down 4 with 15 seconds. Just reckless. which is fine as long as you don’t force it. It’s a common play call to send 4 verticals.
  16. 2 at home sure is easier than 3 on the road
  17. maybe you calling him healthy is inaccurate
  18. or its the red zone and it’s crowded and common for windows to be small so you can’t be reckless
  19. He’s a franchise qb. It’s on him. He isn’t some rookie that needs to be protected.
  20. throw it away then. You are in fg range in OT. You don’t have to win the game on that play.
  21. That last throw was all Josh
  22. 4 in 2 weeks after none for like 4 years is quite the turnaround in the red zone
  23. He was short. Nothing indicates you can overturn that call.
  24. you don’t know the injury so you have no idea the risk
  25. nothing about this regime says they will get guys back too fast
