  1. Would love to see that Jets upset, and can totally see the Chargers taking down the Broncos.
  2. Allen prob sick of being McD’s whipping boy. He’s prob heard McD tell him so much about how he’s “got to be smarter than that”. This is Josh’s way of telling McD the same in return.
  3. On the other hand, if the team comes out half assing it, that say the opposite? Even if some have a problem playing for McD, I don’t see that happening. Josh alone would want to beat Mahomes on a stage like tomorrow, among everyone else.
  4. I am not him, he is lurking 😎. That’s all I’m allowed to say, at this point in time.
  5. Welcome to the party, @Einstein. He went all Machiavellian on us at least a couple months back.
  6. Or, a couple did like Daboll, but McD tuned it out and pretended it’s his way or the highway. He could be that tone deaf in reading a room.
  7. I haven’t been able to view all 80+ pages of discussion, although is there any commentary on this situation being an example of the friction between Daboll and McD? Totally could see Daboll being happy for Hall here, and getting into an argument w McD about it.
  8. McD will probably work up his best speech yet, comparing himself to historical martyrs and being able to use that as the rallying cry.
  9. Even if it’s all true, Dunne picked a helluva week to throw this dirt out there.
  10. Longer-term is a trickier question. Short term, he’s a least an upgrade in 12 personnel groupings over Quentin Morris, or is a different look in 11 personnel over Kincaid. While not a great pass catcher, Know has been a solid weapon for Josh over the past few years. Plus, my gut is that Brady will be able to better utilize Knox on game days than Dorsey, although we’ll see. I’d say let’s see how the next few games play out, then revisit the question.
  11. I would say Beane is generally in his element in press conferences. Definitely seemed more tight-lipped or uptight than usual, although maybe it’s obvious the reasons why (underperformance of the team and Von’s circumstances).
  12. @Airseven ‘s take is that the Dolphins are now one of the best teams in the AFC, even though they haven’t won ****. Meanwhile, when the Bills were winning divisional titles year after year, finding reasons to knock them.
  13. Hopefully Von has finally hit his stride during the bye week and is ready to bring that same level of aggression to a football field now 🙄. All hypocrisy aside.
  14. Disagree. Besides needing to learn the offense and get into game shape, we changed OC’s since he joined the team as well. After seeing the Packers pound the ball w Dillon last weekend, I would not be surprised to see Fournette get called up this weekend over Ty Johnson.
  15. We’re probably lucky that Peterman wasn’t half decent. Josh probably would still be riding the pine, Kaiir Elam style.
  16. Not sure how this bodes for us, but I had a dream last night as well: Von Miller actually got a sack. Don’t know why I didn’t realize I was dreaming right then and there.
  17. Well I guess we can put your theory to the test next weekend, right?
