As they get more data points, I’d be curious to know how much more effective the foam helmet protectors are than the traditional helmets or not. The helmets may look a little “funny”, but I think the more we see them, the more they could be come the norm, especially if the evidence shows they’re more effective in protecting against head injuries.

I’ve been waiting to hear at least a couple voters state that they voted Lamar first team all-pro, yet Josh as MVP. Closest I heard was that Craig voter say don’t assume 1st team all-pro (Lamar) will also be MVP. Last year, at least 4 that didn’t vote for Lamar as 1st team all-pro did vote for him as MVP (45 v. 49). If there was ever a year where more voters would vote differently between the two, seems like this would be as good a year as any.

If Lamar wins, it’s because Raven fans are bigger crybabies. They went all out in their PR campaign the couple weeks while their team was still trying to win the division. The irony is because they didn’t wrap up their division until Week 18, Zay Flowers then got hurt and that may have been the difference the other night.

It’s the complementary football McD has always envisioned. Limit turnovers, control the time of possession, wear the other team down and keep them off the field. That’s why the Bills lost Super Bowl XXV, in spite of having the more prolific offense.

McD will need to work with Josh on his clapping this offseason.

Yet Coleman was on the field way more than Cooper the other day, wasn’t he? Is Cooper just not able to get separation at this point, and Coleman is the better option? Is Cooper just not committing enough during the week and hence not seeing the field? I was excited about the trade for him, but his recent usage is perplexing.
