  1. I’d heard Peter King may no longer be an official MVP voter this season, but I’ve got at least 3 out of the 32 non-Allen 1st team all-pro QB voters indicating they will vote for Allen as MVP (Acho, Craig, Judge). I believe all three had shared their all-pro ballots which indicated Lamar as their 1st team all-pro QB vote, yet have all given indications they were going to vote Allen as MVP. Given that Lamar had 30 1st place and 13 2nd place all-pro votes, while Allen had 18 1st place and 24 2nd place votes, he’s likely going to need at least 7 MVP “flippers”, so four more beyond the ones noted. As most all-pro voters did not share their ballots to my knowledge, it’s hard to say who else are the potential “flips”, but given a few who did share their all-pro ballots are likely flips, seems like Josh has a shot still.
  2. Money and logistics. They can do an award show in the SB hosting city a few days before the SB instead, where the nominees and winners are also able to attend.
  3. Here’s the only live market I know of. Odds had flipped to Allen’s favor for the past couple of weeks, after one large player put a couple hundred thousand on Allen and some believed he knew something and followed suit. Today, odds are shifting back to Lamar’s favor, people not buying the large player actually knew something. https://polymarket.com/event/nfl-mvp-1?tid=1738790896566
  4. Resign Mack and Ty. Let Cooper walk. Draft the team’s 6th WR in 1st or 2nd round. Get faster, younger and cheaper at the WR position. Between Keon and whoever they draft, see if we can hit on these young guys. Worst case, we know JA brings the best out of guys around him and we trade for a WR rental midseason if desperate (which I don’t expect).
  5. Well of course it’d be great to be up double digits at the end of any game. His point is even to get to the point of AFCCG game with a chance to win at the end, there’s a lot of hard work and even luck to get to that point. If Mark Andrews doesn’t implode the week prior, we might not even make the AFCCG. I think most teams, even the Chiefs, would sign up to be in the scenario down 3 with the 3 to go and the ball at the start of the season.
  6. No CB early? You figuring we fill that need in Free Agency?
  7. I’d load up on defense as much as the cap allows in free agency, target a WR to our liking in the 1st or 2nd round of the draft, then load up on more defense with our other remaining 1st, 2nd and 4th round picks. Draft additional depth with upside in later rounds. We need more young and fast talent at WR, which will also cost less via the draft than in FA.
  8. Thank you. I was waiting for the punk (Airseven) to make his return. Talked crap about the Bills until about early October when they started their win streak, then disappears until Monday. And pretends he’s a Bills fan…
  9. When Lamar officially wins MVP over Josh next week, we’ll once again be reminded how we can’t win anything 😢
  10. What if Mr. Brightside is really about Patrick Mahomes winning the Lombardi trophy rather than Josh? 😢
  11. Okay, you don’t know from first-hand info then, just your best guess?
  12. You’re claiming the Saints passed on Brady, rather than him dropping out?
  13. Disagree. I think this highlights the need to prepare less. If we don’t know their tendencies, how will they fool us? 😃
  14. Wonder what the Chiefs will give us to move from pick 32 to 30, so they can go and win 4 in a row?
  15. After the Bills lost to the Rams, McD said they ran the QB sneak at the 1 because it was the “best play all year”. Yet they’d been stuffed by the Rams on a QB sneak earlier in the game, so it wasn’t a sure thing they were going to get in on that 1st down attempt. Plenty of time to prepare alternative short yardage approaches for another opponent like the Chiefs, that show an ability to stop the QB sneak. Ignorance is bliss.
  16. When I read the comments on Polymarket, it sounds like they’ve traced the movement in odds to one person that made recent “bets” under multiple accounts. This same person supposedly has been very high on Josh for weeks, but also supposedly loses a ton of money in bets at that site too. So why would they try to bet Josh under multiple accounts now? The best theory as I understand it is the person may realize Josh isn’t going to win MVP now, so trying to trick others into putting more money into Josh now, in order to get themselves a position where they can put money on Lamar and lessen their losses. But that person might ultimately just be increasing their losses if they don’t find a good “exit” position. Confusing, but I think it’s ultimately someone that has a lot of money and is an idiot.
  17. When they showed Von watching the last series, it had the feeling that would be his last game before retiring. He gave it a shot at coming back this season and in some way earning the huge contract we gave him, but I think he knows his time in the NFL is up.
  18. As they get more data points, I’d be curious to know how much more effective the foam helmet protectors are than the traditional helmets or not. The helmets may look a little “funny”, but I think the more we see them, the more they could be come the norm, especially if the evidence shows they’re more effective in protecting against head injuries.
  19. When they played that Doritos SB commercial with two mins left and there were like 8 Chiefs in it, I knew we were going to lose.
  20. We have to win today. It has to be today, taking down KC in their house. There’s no other choice.
  21. Portnoy put $1M on the Bills last week to win the SB at +550: https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/nfl-postseason-big-bets-report-bettor-wagers-1-million-bills-win-super-bowl
  22. Isn’t Schefter critiquing the Chiefs with this tweet? At the least, I read it as neutral for or against the Chiefs.
