  1. I’m skeptical of giving John Harbaugh too much credit though. I didn’t realize it, but I saw he hasn’t been to an AFCCG since 2012? Imagine the critics if McD fell short that many years in a row?
  2. You nailed it 👍…this team can’t be losing crap games next season
  3. I always preferred 6 teams, was annoyed when they watered down the playoff entry and moved it to 7 teams. Also gave the 1 seed an even bigger advantage.
  4. Here’s a solution for other teams, stop trying to beat us 😉
  5. That’s what stung in the 90’s too, man. I still have visions of when we win one, all the guys will be there celebrating (Jim, Thurman, Bruce, Andre, even Marv)…
  6. Right. Plus, it’s still ultimately McD’s call. Unless @boyst is saying the players took it to Pegula, and Pegula told McD that Dorsey had to go. At the same time, does this mean McD/Pegula waited until after the Denver game to actually pull the trigger on what the players voted for?
  7. Aside from his own production and friction with the media, wouldn’t surprise me if Diggs is also frustrated with the team’s later season philosophy of running the ball more. Isn’t that one reason he wanted out of Minnesota and didn’t like playing for Stefanski? Maybe that’s why the team also started working him into some run plays, to try and keep him happy and give him a chance to make plays from that end. All that said, if the team decided to flip him to Dallas, we exchange 1st round picks and then get their 3rd in exchange for our 4th, I’d honestly be okay with that as it would free up some cap space for us and improve our draft stock. We aren’t going to get too much more for a high-priced WR on the wrong side of 30.
  8. The OP also doesn’t seem to understand the biggest value of being the 1 seed is getting a bye week. It’s an automatic “win” and chance to rest guys, rather than get more injuries. Injuries are one thing that came back to bite us. We were relatively healthy heading into Week 18 against Miami. But because we had to play balls out two more weeks in a row (Miami then Pittsburgh), we entered our matchup against KC all banged up. If we had instead taken better care of business earlier in the season, maybe we can rest guys down the stretch, and play the divisional round in better shape.
  9. Whether Diggs figures anything out, or has been injured, or whatever, we need to start drafting WRs that could be the next WR1. We need some young wideouts with the wheels to make some big plays for this offense. Josh can make guys like Robert Foster look like superstars for a season, imagine he gets the next Justin Jefferson he can play the next 10 years with.
  10. Damn, lots of fails here. Way to go guys, very Billsy of you all.
  11. I wouldn’t mind a WR at pick 28, but this team has way too many other holes to fill to be trading picks and trying to move up much. This team needs to get younger, faster and cheaper. Draft picks are the only way to do that.
  12. I’d def support bringing those guys back at a fair price, DaQuan before Epenesa if we had to choose. I envision Gabe gone to FA, Hyde to retirement, Poyer a potential cut, and Tre White either a restructure or cut if they can’t work something out. If Morse is gone too, slide Bates into C and get depth via FA or mid-to-late round pick. Up in the air if we should resign Rapp.
  13. Yep. Bills could have just as easily won last night as the Chiefs. If Josh hits Shakir in the end zone on the last drive, or Bass hits the FG, we can all be pessimistic and assume Mahomes still would have won it, or it could have ended in a win for the Bills. That said, game was a coin toss that we lost, rather than this team being clearly better than their opponent and not needing to win a coin flip.
  14. Curious to see if McKitty can claw his way onto the active roster
  15. It was clear that Klein was two weeks removed from his couch last night. Watching him made it feel like I was out there playing. Credit to Klein for even trying to help this team. That said, an all pro like Milano in there or even Bernard out there is a huge upgrade over needing to rely on Klein.
  16. I’d pick up the 5th year option on the guy. He’s flashed at moments, feel like he might end up like Oliver and have a real breakout in a year or two. We need some edge rushers in their prime versus just starting over in the draft only.
  17. He should test the market, hope someone pays him a ton. Someone else likely will value him more than he means to the Bills’ future. That said, while he was inconsistent with the Bills, I appreciated his big play moments.
  18. I hope that’s not how it plays out. Gonna need to get some reasonably priced free agents, although if they want to improve and get younger at WR, really need to spend at least a 1st or 2nd round pick there. But also will need to shore up the D too, so really need to hit on at least a few of their draft picks.
  19. Ahhh, thanks for clarifying. Thought you meant a different Russ 😆
