  1. I felt like the rainy field really helped us create turnovers against the Raiders. I know that’s not the usual Buffalo weather advantage of cold and snow but it sure seemed to help us in that game.
  2. Tyrod was not fully to blame but he also wasn't blameless. Yeah there was a number of fumbles but let's not forget Tyrod was one of those fumbles and if we are going to hold Matthews and O'Leary accountable for their fumbles then Tyrod needs to be held accountable for his. On the flip side, a lot of our points in our big win over Oakland were thanks to turnovers our defense created.
  3. This has to happen to the city of Houston not even 24 hours after they finally win a World Series .
  4. I feel bad for the Browns especially since they are only a few months away from holding the league's longest playoff drought
  5. Very sad to hear about this, God bless him and his family.
  6. Yeah, I definitely feel like this is different from 2011. Biggest thing working in our favor is we beat two of our biggest wildcard competitors (Denver and Oakland). I dont want to get ahead of myself here but I do like our chances.
  7. Gonna have to go with the majority and say only relocation. If I make it through another 60 years of life and they never again make the playoffs in my lifetime, I'll be frustrated, but I will still be a fan.
  8. Yeah, it stinks. Thank you for posting all of this as I was wondering what the NFL's reaction would be.
  9. No, this is just wrong, he regains control before going to the ground and landing out of bounds. He may have been holding it against his body but who's to say that isn't possession? At the very least there was no proof beyond a shadow of a doubt that he didn't have it which is what you are supposed to have in order to overturn something that was already called.
  10. You are probably right about the Pats going to the Super Bowl. But if they don't, and we end up with Jaguars vs Saints in the SB because of parity, I would love it.
  11. Could not disagree more than I do with the idea that this is mediocre/bad football. I love the parity and it is making for great football. I would attribute it to ajustments and preparation made for each week against teams coaches have more film on as the season goes on. Much more entertaining than watching Manning or Brady carve some helpless defense up. Unlike the NBA where, over the last few seasons, it's been inevitable that the finals will end up being Cavs/Warrios with months of playing for 3rd place until June for all other teams. I will take parity over that any day, and I mean ANY DAY!
  12. The comeback is in jeopardy. Lions trailed by 35.
  13. Honestly did not read the rest of the comments nor did I look around the internet for it: Denver Broncos
  14. Playoff contender, yes. We have a playoff caliber defense, a running back who is still elite, a winnable schedule, and we have already beaten a team we most likely will be competing with in the wild card race (Denver). Throw in New England's struggles on defense and the playoffs are very much a possibility. While every game is important I think the next few games against Tampa, Oakland, NY Jets, and New Orleans are very crucial.
  15. Browns must be kicking themselves right now. Wentz is the real deal and will be for a while.
  16. What's most painful about this is Folk is the kicker who nailed a 53 yard fg with the Cowboys to beat us in that crazy MMF game some years back. Granted, he was much younger then but still he can beat us but he can't help us.
  17. After the offensive PI called on Holmes in our final drive against Carolina I don't want to hear it. We could be 4-0 if that doesn't get called.
  18. They won on a last second field goal. Not sure if you meant they blew us out or just that they beat us.
  19. RIP My favorite
  20. Ball was coming out of his hand before his arm started coming forward. Then, without actually having a grip on it, he pretty much just pushed it forward. Fumble was a correct call.
  21. Might need some heart meds
  22. If they can lose out and grab the #1 pick ahead of the Jets I wouldn't mind that at all.
  23. As a Terps fan, great to see a team we put up 51 on, in Austin, go into a national championship contender's house and take them into OT.
  24. Football is different though. I believe it was Steve Young who said that it's not natural to want to go out and hit people. I don't need motivation to go to my office job even on days where I have to talk to clients but if my job required me to go out, hit people, take hits, throw my body out on the line then I would definitely need to get more psyched up.
