  1. I don't agree that it was a bad decision to go for 7. Baltimore has a former MVP, perennial Pro Bowl, veteran at QB who may be the most elusive individual in the league. If the situation were reversed (I supported our decision to go for it in Tennessee), I would be upset and the naysayers on this board would crucify McDermott. This was ALL on Lamar Jackson. He was late (you expect better from a Pro Bowl veteran) finding the receiver. Worse, as the video shows, he threw the ball to the field side of his receiver. If he places that ball on the sideline side of his receiver, it's a touchdown. Rookie ball placement. Regarding Poyer, fantastic play. I would love to have that explosive quickness, just one day in my life.
  2. Miami sux, royally. Sorry. I know this doesn't contribute to the discussion. But, it felt good.
  3. I think Lamar Jackson is being let off the hook here. He backpedaled and threw a floater off his back foot. We can recognize that Poyer (he sure did!) made a great play and we can debate the Harbaugh call. However, a veteran QB panicked and threw a prayer that got intercepted. I put that on Jackson.
  4. The Harp, right next to the Garden, is the main Bills backers bar in Boston. I’ve heard Fenway does a good job. But, The Harp is the real Bills’ party.
  5. No one else has mentioned this, so I could be wrong. But I think his plant foot slid just a little bit, causing him to hit the ball high, while pulling it - allowing the tip.
  6. I was wondering about that. McDermott practices humility. That type of chest thumping would be very out of character for him.
  7. Oh look, another "I'm mad as hell and not going to take it anymore" thread. Gosh, I hope we can have five or six more of these childish temper tantrums.
  8. Have some mild and cookies. You’ll be fine too.
  9. Two to add: Josh throws an awful dirt ball to an open McKenzie in the end zone Davis doesn't come down with a near routine TD catch. It took all these plays and injuries to half our team for the Fins to win, at home, by two. We'll be fine.
  10. The boys look all business, serious business. I believe today, they'll choose violence. Go Bills
  11. I respect that you can curse in Spanish. I can only curse in American English. It's so limiting. Go Bills.
  12. Before I moved to Boston, I was an 11 year season ticket holder. Our section stood the entire game. I didn't enjoy it. However, in choosing to attend the game with 65k other folks, I made the choice to be inconvenienced. So, not that big a deal.
  13. I live in Boston an am just disgusted with this. Bills-Fish game has so much more relevance (not to mention, personal preference) to this area. It is almost as if they want to protect the Patsies' TV ratings on Fox.
  14. I see a lot of folks thinking this is a big deal for Poyer. But I don't see it. I think Beane threw a bone his way to let Poyer save face after saying he wanted to be taken care of. Of course, I could be very (Actually, I hope I am) wrong. But this looks to me like, "I cannot give you what you want. So, here is a small, almost meaningless, parting gift."
  15. I'm going to cheat and state a position, rather than a player. After years of trying, I believe we are finally strong at defensive tackle. That strength will allow Oliver to be the beast that he is and will free the rest of the defense to do fully their jobs. When we see a better pass rush and better run stuffing from more aggressive LB tackling, this year's DT crew will be prime contributors.
  16. I absolutely love this year's Bills captains, every one of them. This is a Super Bowl caliber group. I also enjoy how is serves as a reality check to some posters on this board. For Edmunds haters and those who don't believe Taiwan Jones belongs, the players have spoken. Listen up.
  17. Every community is filled with good people who volunteer their time to benefit others. Whether it is youth coaches, Adopt-a-Highway crews, Big Brother/Big Sister volunteers, church groups, or (the list is endless) others, good people volunteering are all around us. Here's the deal, volunteers don't make a lot of noise, they just give of themselves. Or, to use TBD vernacularly, they generally don't make splash plays.
  18. So, now Tremaine Edmunds is the Bills' equivalent of an outfielder batting .160, truly amazing - and fortunately, comedic.
  19. Tears. Thanks Dion. With so many likable Bills to choose from, I think I now know what jersey I'm getting to represent.
  20. I believe Bills' the entire 2021 draft was a "futures draft" where Beane selected high end traits without the intention of having them make immediate impacts. No doubt, McDermott was involved and believes his staff can shape them into solid NFL contributors. Obviously, Groot and Brown performed ahead of schedule. The theme of last year's offseason was "keep the band together". So, the draft class was merely being groomed. Now that (hopefully) the kids are developing, the '21 "futures draft" of players will become important contributors. One person I would not write off yet is Stevenson. You can't teach speed. And yes, I am always the optimist.
  21. Wow, 😂😂 just twist it any way you can to go negative. 😂😂
  22. Perfect, perfect. We had one weakness. Now we don’t.
  23. Are there five to seven very good CBs out there, or five to seven known CB names out there? Honest question as I don't study anything but the Bills.
  24. It was really intended as a laugh - no harm meant. I will say, however, if you were to travel this board, policing every non-contributing post, you would be a very busy person.
