  1. Followed up by an even dumber take. Keep going, you’re on a roll.
  2. No, McDermott is not fighting for his job. Epic dumb.
  3. Well stated. No look-at-me drama queens here. I sure did not enjoy the Patriots game and sure do enjoy cheering for Josh. That's sports. This old man will buy that old man fan a beer if we ever meet.
  4. I spent all last season believing DaQuan Jones was our defensive MVP. He was/is the rock up front that frees the other ten to perform.
  5. Olive Branch, about 20 minutes from Memphis. At age 62, I decided I want to grow old with my college friends. I like the south, like this area, and am loving being back with my 45 year friends. And, 😁 I no longer own a snow shovel. Do you live in this area?
  6. Thad Lewis was not a name I expected to be reminded of when I got up this morning.
  7. I moved to Mississippi about five months ago. We see the commercial here and my local friends enjoy laughing at (with) me about it.
  8. Yes, and McDermott is Donnie Meatballs for defensive player improvement.
  9. This is not wrong, nor unfair. I work in a large corporate environment. I am a grunt - middle manager. Think of Steph as a VP. He certainly is a VIP. I would not, regardless of my feelings, make a loud and proud assertion or joke about a VP's mannerisms. At times, we have to know our place and shut up. I wouldn't expect to be fired. But, I would NEVER drop a public f-bomb. Adulting is adulting.
  10. My concern with Edmunds' departure is the extra demands his absence will place on our DBs. Nobody will deny he took a lot of space in the middle. White and CB2 (TBD) will have to cover a bit more inside. Poyer and Hyde (aging and coming off injuries) will be responsible for more space in front of them. It's a game of inches and we may see a lower rate of success among our DBs as they miss the help they got in all directions from Edmunds. Time will tell, but this is my '23 concern.
  11. I know of a Bills fan who used to be in Athens. I lived there from '86-'88. It. Was. Awesome.
  12. I have quickly scanned and the nearest I can figure out, Josh got drunk and had his way with Diggs the night before the Bengals playoff game. Whether or not Diggs got pregnant seems to be a question.
  13. The market determines what is fair pay for Shaq. If the market decides he is worth more, he'll go else where. He hasn't yet, which tells us he was paid fairly.
  14. Actually, yes you are being hyperbolic. And, a bit ridiculous.
  15. The Bills front office and coaching staff don't leak information or show their hands. Since the advent of McBeane, we have never known what they were going to do, until they did it. Adam Schefter and the NFL talking heads are just making up things to talk about. I do not believe we have gained any insight from their comments.
  16. There is an enormous difference between firing the GM, coach and coordinators (all called for today on the forum) and making improvements for next year. If we were talking in person, I would laugh at your question.
  17. Losing one's temper on the sideline and shouting at a teammate is not a sign of leadership. It is self-indulgent behavior revealing the individual is not big enough for the moment.
  18. I can only speak for myself, but I am absolutely not unified with the current "throw the bums out" messages on this board. I consider today's threads to be knee-jerk temper tantrums that do not provide quality thought or interesting reading. With that, my presence and participation will be significantly scaled back for about a week, hoping the outrage will cool.
  19. I actually think of Jones as our defensive MVP, allowing the other ten to do what they do. That said, I like Settle and am optimistic he is up to the challenge.
  20. I agree with this. It would be honorable in a number of ways: - Cincinnati; the coach, the team, the city, was selfless in their concern for Damar and the Bills. Give them the W and say thank you. - It would show our players that we care about their mental and emotional wellbeing - It would be a true, brotherly statement to Damar - his life and health is more important than the game. Something terrible happened last night. We can't make all outcomes be good.
