    You may be right. Let's let Bishop and Rapp have a few games to see how it plays out. It still is a focused part of McDermott's defensive strategy. We may see it redevelop as the season progresses.

    Honestly, I think this is one of those games where Trubisky mops up the fourth quarter. After the multiple coronaries I had Sunday night, I envision bourbon, popcorn, and relaxed smiles. J-E-T-S, sux, sux, sux.

    It was explained by analysis today. The Bills were disguising their defense and Bishop gave a two-deep look. He was supposed to come to the line of scrimmage, pre-snap. However, the Ravens quick-snapped, catching Bishop in his disguise position. The Ravens were smart and lucky. We are good at disguising our defenses. But, in this case, we got caught.

    And this one-play instance shows us why Josh is the MVP in this conversation. Lamar reminds me of Dominique Wilkins (showing my age, bigtime) in the old NBA days. He was a human highlight reel - but just didn't know how to win.

    Well, truth be told, we’ve been greatly enjoying Dolphin shenanigans for quite some time now.

    Actually, read the scoreboard. Lamar hasn’t accomplished as much as Josh. In the playoffs, Lamar is 0-2 against Josh. Each new year has new possibilities. But, at this point, you got nothin’.

    I agree with you that Lamar is a superior runner. He is electric. But, calling Allen “more of a plodder” is simply ridiculous. Josh definitely doesn’t have Lamar’s quickness. However, his open field speed destroys defenses when he takes off.

    Maybe because you don't understand history or math? 2024 Bills 13 wins, 4 losses 2023 Bills 11 wins, 6 losses 2022 Bills 13 wins, 3 losses 2021 Bills 11 wins, 6 losses 2020 Bills 13 wins, 3 losses Short of the Super Bowl (which most of us are hoping for), it is mathematically impossible to get "much better." Step out of Utica and into reality.

    Defensively, I’m watching Cole Bishop. He’s got the tools, but hasn’t put it together yet. If it clicks for him, a question mark turns it into a strength at a key position in McDermott’s defense. For offense, like many here, it’s Coleman. If he becomes a real threat on the outside, our offense has scary potential.

    All these recommendations are solid. The name I would advocate most for is Taron Johnson. I think we need to start viewing him as an elder statesman leader. I believe his long tenure and high-level performance give him a very high status on this team.
