Just hope it remains boring until all the insanity is over.

Not really that high, so far only 14 since 1942, none since 1997. Who knew there was a website for this stuff? https://www.profootballhof.com/football-history/no-1-to-the-hall-of-fame/ Here are the first overalls since 1998. Of them I would say only Peyton Manning is a deffinite. Several are definite no's, book still out on many as well. 2019 Kyler Murray Cardinals 2018 Baker Mayfield Browns 2017 Myles Garrett Browns 2016 Jared Goff Rams 2015 Jameis Winston Buccaneers 2014 Jadeveon Clowney Texans 2013 Eric Fisher Chiefs 2012 Andrew Luck Colts 2011 Cam Newton Panthers 2010 Sam Bradford Rams 2009 Matthew Stafford Lions 2008 Jake Long Dolphins 2007 JaMarcus Russell Raiders 2006 Mario Williams Texans 2005 Alex Smith 49ers 2004 Eli Manning Chargers 2003 Carson Palmer Bengals 2002 David Carr Texans 2001 Michael Vick Falcons 2000 Courtney Brown Browns 1999 Tim Couch Browns 1998 Peyton Manning Colts

As long as we're going down memory lane, Ridelhuber had an integral role of another famous game (happened on my 12th birthday fwiw.) In case you missed it (if you lived in the central or eastern time zones in 1968 you did,) he recovered a kickoff for a touchdown in the infamous Heidi game. For the young and middle aged crew, this is the reason networks show NFL games to their conclusion now. Here are the last two touchdowns which most of us missed (either because we lived in the East or because we weren't born yet.) Ridelhuber's touchdown occurs on the kickoff which begins at 1:25. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9ASLawGvwY

If Okung had been elected the vote would likely have been close, but he dropped out of the election for some reason. Should go through now. -
Jets Quinnen Williams Arrested in NY

Anyone remember Barry Switzer being arrested for this: "Switzer, after returning to Austin to join the team at training camp, said he had inadvertently left the gun in his travel bag after putting it there with the intention of hiding it from three young children who were guests at his home last weekend." https://www.spokesman.com/stories/1997/aug/05/switzer-arrested-with-gun-cowboys-coach-said-he/ -
Anyone else notice a lot more people are wiping down the equipment prior to use? I've always wiped down equipment both before and after use, especially for cardio equipment. Up until the past couple weeks most of what I've seen has been people going through the motions when they were finished. Now I see a lot of people wiping things down before use (once again, especially cardio equipment.) Guess it took the corona virus to convince a lot of people that cleanliness is a good idea! One change I've made, since I'm not sure that the liquid actually kills the virus, if there is a purell dispenser available I'll use that instead of the liquid.

Share an Unpopular Bills-Related Opinion

This is kind of like saying a 10 cent an hour raise>a 10 cent a week raise. It may be true, but neither helps much. -

Gilligan's the problem? Stupid? Looks like a genius plan in this picture? -
More accurately, enforcement of the ban will be delayed until April 1. For those that use them to line small trash cans, pick up doggie droppings, etc. they will be available for a price after April 1, $2.89 for 100 or $28 for 1000 if memory serves.

If Jordan Love is still available at 22 I can see someone making it worthwhile to move down, if they're willing to give up what the Bills gave up for Losman in the same spot. If only to get ahead of New England. Maybe Green Bay as they prepare for life after Aaron Rodgers. Lions, Panthers, or Colts might also look to give up next year's first and this year's second, but aren't drafting high enough to get Tua or Burrows.
-
Actually no. We traded up for Sammy, not back in to the bottom of the first. My point was the value usually isn't there to trade back in to the bottom of the first as it usually costs this year's second, next year's first, plus other assets (in Losman's case this year's fifth.) Agree that we gave up way too much for Sammy, but he was the Bills only first round pick that year.
-
Correct, Beane hasn't made those decisions because the value isn't there to move back in to the bottom of the first, which usually means giving up next year's first along with some of this year's assets. Wouldn't be surprised to see him move up or down from 22 but don't see him moving back in to the bottom of the first once that pick is made.

Who are the last two players the Bills traded away future picks for to get back in to the bottom of the first? J P Losman (22) and John McCargo (26.) They gave up that year's 2nd and fifth along with the following year's first for Losman. Not sure what they gave up for McCargo but certainly more than he was worth.

Funny...My nephew's wife is from China. Took a few years but her parents are now legal residents of the US and live with them. My nephew is the only one in the house that drives.

"Player Summary - Alex Highsmith projects as a developmental starter at the pro level. He's got the needed explosiveness, short area agility and motor — pairing it with promising flashes of hand usage to play off of contact and win off the edge as a pass rusher. There's plenty of quickness to his game — can Highsmith learn to consistently stack up the point of attack? He's probably best suited to play 3-4 OLB in the NFL to allow him wide angles to extend and stack up blockers against the run. " https://thedraftnetwork.com/player/alex-highsmith/q6qDVlYZMM With no red flags seems to be the kind of late round project McBeane covets
