Where did this DT Cohen come from

So you didn't see this post? "I heard he came from the planet Ork. Too soon?" -
Where did this DT Cohen come from

So you're saying making a joke about pissing on Bon Jovi is the equivalent of making a joke about someone who committed suicide less than 24 hours ago and who was loved and admired by millions of people? Sorry I don't see the correlation, but I am changing my avatar immediately since you find it so offensive. -
Where did this DT Cohen come from

Well I happen to be one of them and I found your post to be in very poor taste. I'm quite sure that plenty of others on this thread loved Robin Williams and he brought them many moments of brilliance and enjoyment. Poor taste is poor taste, regardless of who sees or hears it. -

Absolutely too soon and in very poor taste. A man has died and a whole lot of people who loved him are grieving. -
Bortles should be a Bill
xsoldier54 replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know about Bortles and how we might have traded up to get him, but the only Bills QB that played reasonably well was Tuel. It is way too early to panic with EJ and Lewis, but I would have liked to see both play better. Lewis In my opinion looked particularly bad. He needs to learn when to throw the fastball and when to take a little off. Most of his misses were totally uncatchable balls because he just put too much on them. I have seen that before from him, so hopefully someone will work with him on that. I am still optimistic about this team and it was only the first pre-season game, but damn it did look awfully familiar. Close game in the 4th Quarter, then someone makes a big mistake and the Bills find a way to lose again. Sorry, but it is like watching the same movie over and over again week in and week out. I am ready for a new movie. -
Buffalo is winning the AFC East Division this year.
xsoldier54 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I believe this is entirely possible. They were a good competitive team last year and I believe they will be better this year. If EJ can stay healthy, and the D performs to it's potential, this could be a very formidable team. -
What he means is that no matter what beer you drink it is cheaper to buy in America than it is in Canada.

Fred Jackson signs contract extension

Spiller has the potential to be great. Not so sure about his heart. Glad to have him on our team, but if we could get that 1st rounder back, I'd take it in a heartbeat. The reality is though that nobody will give up a number 1 for him. -
Actually, it makes perfect sense. If he can't pass the conditioning test, that means he is not in good enough physical shape to practice because it puts him at greater risk of injury. In the meantime he will train with the training staff to get into good enough shape to participate in football activities. When he can pass the conditioning test, he will be allowed to practice. Makes perfect sense to me.

Get Ready for the "Legion of Boom" Rule in 2014
xsoldier54 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I understand that some people don't get it, but I find Sherman funny. His trash talking is mostly good natured and you have to take him with a grain of salt. He is one of the most talented and entertaining players in the game. Let's not make the NFL more of the No Fun League than it already is. -
Dareus not cleared to practice yet
xsoldier54 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Completely agree. Dareus needs to grow up. With all his other troubles, he should have come into camp in top shape and ready to go. No excuse for this. He needs a wake up call and even the benchings and the legal troubles don't seem to have had any impact at all. Not much the coaches can do if the player lacks motivation. It's a tough situation because he is a talented player, but at this point he seems to have not bought into the team concept at all. He is being completely childish and selfish. -
Londoners don't care about American football. It is a joke to them. They don't want a team. It is only American arrogance that would even suggest such a thing. It would be a colossal failure.

Isn't Orchard Park a suburb of Buffalo. What are you saying, that NJ is a suburb of NYC? -
All you have to do is listen to him once on NFL network and you will know that he is an absolute idiot. Very lucky to have a job. He should be tipping his employers.

What if American football used soccer-style rules?

The weather has been perfect? I have seen at least three matches played in near monsoon rain conditions. -
What if American football used soccer-style rules?
xsoldier54 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am very much aware of where I am. This is a thread comparing football (soccer) to American football. It appears here because that is where someone started it. I am a diehard Bills fan and have been since the first season of Bills football. My point is that soccer is not a once every four years spectacle like the Olympics. Millions of people play and watch it year round and around the world. Because I enjoy the sport does not make me any less of a Bills fan or a fan of American football. I am defending another sport being discussed on an American football board by ignorant American football fans. Thank you for playing. -

xsoldier54 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Amazing to me the lack of knowledge about the real football on this board. It is not just the World Cup that attracts real fans. There are the Euros, the Champions League, The Gold Cup for example. There are many other events over the course of the next four years that people will want to watch. Only those ignorant of the sport think that it's only major event is the World Cup. People on this board need to crawl back into their little holes and wait for American football to start so they can once again ignore the rest of the world and remain ignorant Americans. -

Kevin Durant was the MVP of the NBA, Peyton Manning won in the NFL and Jimmy Graham wasn't even in the mix. I watch and follow almost all sports and have a love of each for their uniqueness. My feeling is that most on this board do not understand the sport they call soccer and that is a shame. Nothing wrong with being passionate about whatever sport you enjoy playing or watching. They are all great games in their own way.
