I don't agree. It is the fact that they are from Buffalo that makes this a bad idea. People from Toronto hate Buffalo. It is a hockey thing related to the Leafs and Sabres. It is a bad Idea for a team from Buffalo to try and play a game in Toronto. Bad premise that will never work.

This. The people in Toronto hate Buffalo. It is a bad idea to try and promote the Bills in Toronto. The games are an embarrrasment to the franchise. It is a failed experiment and it is time to end it. There is no argument that will make it not so.

It wasn't the guys. It was the scheme. Look at how Pettine's defenses fared against the run in every season he has coached. This from a previous post:"The rankings were as followed. 2013--28th 2012--26th 2011--20th 2010--30th 2009--25th" The problem with the run D last year was Pettine, not the personnel. He puts so much emphasis on blitzing and stunting in order to generate pressure on the QB and sacks that his LB's are often not in position to stop the run. Shwartz's defenses have repeatedly been in the top 10 at stopping the run and points allowed. My guess based on empirical data is that the Bills D will be much better against the run this year, while the sack total will go down. I'll take that.

You lost me at Bill Maher. Virtually everything that comes out of his and his guests mouth is absolutely laughable in it's ridiculousness.

I don't think either team will score that many points in regulation. Winter conditions and defenses usually dominate. I'm predicting Seattle 21-17.

I actually like Bruno Mars. He is a talented dude and has a great band. And I like the Chili Peppers too, so I won't be disappointed. I will have a beer and enjoy the show.

Even more interesting that they hired Jim Shwartz whose defenses excelled at stopping the run and 3rd down conversion. I liked Pettine and he made our defense better, but I really like the Shwartz hire.

That was a very informative aritcle. He seems like a really smart guy. Giving the D lineman a quiz in front of the whole Defense on Fridays? Sounds like pretty good preparation to me. I liked the hire when I heard it, but I like it even more now.

Shwartz was hired in Detroit because of his success as D coordinator in Tennessee. He is an excellent coordinator. I like it a lot.

I think we had players at LB that could have been very good at stopping the run if utilized properly. IMO the problem was the we were caught in the wrong defensive set too many times in running situations. Attacking is fine, but you also have to know when to configure the D for a possible running play.

Do we play Cleveland next year? If so, all we have to do is run Freddie and C.J. all day long. Pettine has no idea how to stop the run. I thought overall the D was better, but let's not get crazy. They sucked against the run. I'm hoping that whoever becomes our DC will not just blitz and try and sack the QB on every play, but will also realize that sometimes the other team runs the ball.

Sorry, but I just can't take this too seriously. Sherman talked trash, Crabtree talked trash. It's been part of the game for a long time. I have absolutely no problem with any of it. The two were battling all game long and jawing at each other. He who makes the last play gets the last word. I thought it was funny.

Not worried. All of the defensive Assistance have had at least a year in the system, some more. Besides they didn't hire him yet, just interviewing him.

How about Joe Willie Namath. He dominated his era and so far I haven't even seen a mention. He could flat out sling it. And his win in the SB gave the AFC the credibility that led to the merger.

You have Marino number one and Kelly is not even in the top five? I saw these guys head to head live several times and in each case Kelly outperformed Marino. Not saying he doesn't deserve to be in your top five, but if he's there, Kelly has got to be there as well for it to have any credibility.

I have always liked Peyton and still do. Brady on the other hand is a little kitty. I picked Seattle and Denver for the SB at the beginning of the playoffs, with Seattle winning it all. Could still happen if Seattle can get by SF. I still think Denver will beat NE at home and Seattle should win at home as well. I like Seattle's D over Denver.

I agree with the OP. Playoffs have been boring. No excitement, every team that should have won has won. I still don't see a team that I believe will absolutely win the Super Bowl. Could be any of the four teams left, wtih none of them looking like the favorite.

Last playoff game we were in and betrayed by ST even then. I believe ST cost us at least 3 games this year. Some things never change.

If you don't think the Bills have a better chance of winning a game at the Ralph than at the Rogers Centre, then you are delusional. The Atlanta game was a prime example of a game where the Bills would have had home field advantage in the cold over a dome team. Instead what did we do? We moved the game to a dome with a crowd that is rooting for the visitors. I agree the TO series has little to do with winning in general, but the games that are played in Toronto might as well just be marked down as losses. This is not a "home" game it is a road game and virtually every NFL team plays better at home.

I have no problem drafting another QB very high in the draft again this year. But two? I think that's a stretch. Too many other needs on this team like O Line, LB, WR and secondary. I don't see them spending two picks ofn QB's, but if there is one there that they are projecting to be better than EJ, then by all means take him.

In Marshawn's case, it is money well spent. Every time he opens his mouth, he says something stupid.

They need to take that thing to the games in Toronto.

I hope to God this abomination ends. Toronto does not deserve to have a Bills game. They have proven that, so please let's end this catastrophe.
