Some of our darling local media really dislikes that their opinion counts even less to the Bills now then it did before and that they've been actively made to look like fools. Since most national sports media lacks an acceptable sourcing standard, you end up with this type of feeding frenzy. The best bet to get this to stop is write to the local media outlets and complain not about the tone of the coverage, but the lack of objective reporting and facts. Demand more actual reporting instead of this 'observational (didn't have to put on pants to write this)' coverage.

Keep in mind, that ESPN uses other reporters as 'sources'. So they will hear Sullivan or some other nitwit say something like, "Buffalo has to be talking to Arizona" and that turns into "Anonymous sources closes to the Bills have said Buffalo is talking to the Cardinals about a trade". If you see anonymous related to ESPN which doesn't use a policy on anonymous sources to have an independent separate backup source then it ia rumor or a hunch.

Who cares what he says? It will either be true and the Bills will struggle or it will be much sweeter when they do well and have the analysts glorifying them. They're an easy target for bad journalists right now. Bad journalists LOVE easy targets.

I don't think either one is going anywhere. I think they keep all three as insurance against injuries. The running game has to work every week. There's can't be a couple games where it's broke because somebody stubbed a toe.
