  1. I will not say anything bad about the defense in this game. Overall, they were outstanding. My beef is with the offensive play calling.
  2. My absolute favorite musician of all time. An amazing talent. First saw ELP in August 1971 at Buffalo's Peace Bridge Exhibition Center and became a big part of my life from that day on. RIP Keith
  3. I was going through an old 1966 Jets vs Raiders AFL football program the other day and saw this article. Many Raiders Seeking Jobs in the Bay Area The Raiders play their final game of the 1966 season next Sunday at the Coliseum and following that game some squad members will be making their way to other parts of the country to further their education or take off-season employment. A large number of the Raiders, however, will be remaining in the Bay Area and are presently seeking employment. Anyone interested in hiring a Raider for the off-season should contact the Raider office at 834-2171. My how things have changed! For the good, I don't know. I do remember Bob Kaufman from the Buffalo Braves, who I believe was the NBA Rookie of the Year, bartending at Brennans Bowery Bar in the 70's.
  4. Just wondering. Ball is intercepted, Eagles player slides to the ground in-bounds, but no Bill touches him. Eagles players run up to him and start celebrating and apparently that was the game. Couldn't Robert Woods (or any other of the Bills) still taken the ball from him and run for TD? Never saw a good camera TV angle, but I believe he never went out of bounds for a good 10-15 seconds after he went down and then got up. Am I wrong or is the ball dead on an INT when the defender hits the ground?
  5. Wow did that bring back a ton of memories! Was quite emotional watching it. I've been with so many great Bills fans over my lifetime, and reliving those wonderful years tonight was really something. I'll always remember the crazy days running the Bills club in Atlanta and all the great times we had. Yeah, the Super Bowl outcomes were not pretty, but the process of getting there was truly awesome!
  6. Best - Kansas City Awesome tailgating. Knowledgeable, passionate fans. Worst - Cleveland During the famous Ronnie Harmon dropped pass game, some guy from the Dog Pound pissed on me during halftime.
  7. Hope Carolina goes all the way just to stick it to those cocky old Dolphins.
  8. Attended a wedding there a couple years ago. Interesting to say the least. In it's day, it had to be a cool place, but the big amusement parks ran it out of business.
  9. Anyone catch the end of the Grey Cup? Edmonton won it mainly due to a challenge of a PASS INTERFERENCE that was not called. They won the challenge which set up a late TD. With NFL refs ruining so many games this year, I thought the CFL challenge rule was interesting.
  10. Turning point of the game. Should have been a sack and punt. Instead, no call and touchdown on next play. Can't stand the Dolphins, but it Suh had tossed him to the ground, he would have been penalized and probably fined based on his past.
  11. I was at the game and the officials were awful from the beginning. Still can't believe the total confusion on the last play. Never seen referees (supposedly) pick up a flag on a block in the back. Credit to Miami for a tremendous special teams play, but Duke really got jobbed.
  12. East West Connection...Jesse "The Body" Ventura & Adrian Adonis! How about The Sheik & Abdullah The Butcher?
  13. Sad day for rasslin'. Dusty was a true legend. One of the best bleeders in the business.
  14. Quite a blockbuster! Good change of scenery for both sides. If only it was Patrick Kane!
  15. Not me. Hopefully the PBA will be on one TV at the ol' watering hole.
