You should never, ever reference Sullivan as a backup for your information. It invalidates any point you were trying to make whether it is a good one or not.
In his first year, transitioning a new team to his offense...I don't find it very surprising. Why bring in a guy at this point who *doesn't* know the offense and isn't clearly better than the guy that does? He also knows what he is getting.
At the end of his third year. If he hasn't shown it by then then I think it's unlikely they will show it their current environment. I generally abide by this for all players though and I'm not angry at him for being picked.
It's more import to be right than win. I don't care who starts as long as they win. Brohm, Edwards, Levi, Ftiz or if Bruce Smith decides to play QB as long they play well, who cares what name is on the jersey?
Ryan seems unstable. The whole crying thing, apparently, being thsi upset over a talking head not liking him as a person...just seems like he has some issues.
Of course it is. If you have sub par players and slightly less sub par player is available then you take him! That way you can still be sub par!
Oh wait..I seem to have a flaw in my log....NEVERMIND THAT! You're getting off topic. Ralph is cheap!
That's how you build a winning football team. If you keep reaching to fill holes then those holes always end up with poor solutions. If you draft the best player available even if it is a strong position then your team gets the most value. You want the best players you can get, not the best of a bad bunch because your guys might be worse.
I think the plan is, 'You don't make a bad decision just because you have a problem' since making a bad decision doesn't 'fix' the problem. It just spins your wheels which is what has been happening for awhile. You make good decisions, the best possible decision and eventually, it adds up.
