  1. the injury history of concussions scares me. It's why I put Mayfield ahead of him. (Mayfield, Rosen, Darnold). I can see Rosen getting another concussion and calling it quits like Chris Boreland (can't blame him, i'd be his 3rd).
  2. prob takes longer than driving. Trent's PED suspension bothers me. Is he still in the same shape? Guess we will find out.
  3. the concussions are very concerning. Main reason I'd go Mayfield over Rosen. But I'd be fine with Rosen. Only 2 QB's I see as potential Day 1 starters.
  4. Is Eifert still available? He'd be good for a few games until he gets hurt.
  5. Yeah, this lasts until the draft when there will be a "competition" with the rookie. On the other hand, it would be very Cleveland to draft Allen #1, which would be fantastic for a number of reasons.
  6. I hear he was cleared for his pro day?
  7. well, we do need CB help. Hopefully we get Gaines, if not, at least keep L. Johnson and grab another CB.
  8. I think so. I'd nab him and Crabtree as FA WR's. Other interesting FA WR's (not on Bills): Eli Rodgers and Mike Wallace.
  9. Crabtree would be a great addition. (1) he wouldn't be on the Pats***; and (2) as Cudi mentioned, he is a great route runner. I'd also like to resign D. Thompson.
  10. I think it's a good idea. They need cap space to go after Honey Badger. They can draft a LB to replace Klein. And we can draft a LB to compliment/start ahead of him if needed. Would be a good trade, IMO>
  11. wonder if he goes to PIT to play with his brother. I can't see his attitude being a good fit w/ McD.
  12. Agreed. Get a DT (perhaps the guy from Michigan whose name is escaping me) at 22 if he's there. Some other good players will be available in Rd. 2 also. And we have some good DT's to learn from. I like that we are getting vets at positions where we will also likely draft someone.
  13. Trent Murphy also scares me. He was good, but then got suspended for PED's, then blew out his knee. 10 mill a year seems steep for that.?
  14. I hope so. Don't want to overpay for a guy who is really a "space eater." Looks like the draft is deep w/ those.
  15. I agree. If you add Barkley, you have a great OL, 3 great WR's, a capable QB in TT and whatever rookie they draft, and a solid D. I think they could make the playoffs next year. They are putting a scary roster together. please be the Rams. Also, him and Donald on the same line is sick.
  16. I think M. White is going to be good. Same with L. Falk. They will go in round 2-3. If we miss out on Rosen/Mayfield, I'd go defense in first round then grab one of them. Rudolph from what I gather is knocked b/c he didn't play under center. But I believe he is capable of multiple reads and the offense he ran was complex. He may break the stereotype of QB's from his system.
  17. Stafford is good, but what exactly has he won? with JP or Manuel type accuracy.
  18. No thanks. PGH letting Eli Rodgers hit FA. Would rather have him. Less expensive, higher upside.
  19. easy. Under 6'2''. It's worked recently. (Brees, Vick, Wilson, even Flutie, who was what, 5'9'' in heels).
  20. Lucks' recent rehab setback has me worried. But, if they get Luck, they can draft Falk or White later on in the daft to have a Luck/rookie/Peterman combo. That's not bad at all. And if Luck returns to form, we are set at QB.
  21. I hope you are correct. Only Rosen or Mayfield can play from day 1. Allen needs to sit behind an established vet. Darnold needs to stop turning the ball over. I'd take L. Falk or M. White over Allen. They seem more ready to play.
  22. Casserly needs to retire. He's been awful for the past 2 years (if not more). Totally unwatchable. ABC did just renew the Bachelor. This would make for some great reality TV. Or a cure for insomnia.
  23. I really hope this is a giant smokscreen, and that we have already seen enough to grab him. He and Rosen are the only guys in the "top 4" that can be day 1 starters, IMO.
