  1. interesting. I think this will be one of the more enjoyable preseasons to watch in recent memory. Finally depth, and we can watch our team and others to improve upon the depth. No glaring holes at starting positions. I only disagree with the RB diagnosis. I think Singletary gets a lot more carries than you, but we'll see. Good problem to have in the RB room! I can also envision a 2 back backfield at some points with McCoy and Singletary. Then you can put McCoy at WR on a motion, or do something else creative.
  2. I like that we have good players who are likable.
  3. We have to at least go after him. He is a pass-rushing DL. From PFF above, "Daniels’ pass-rush win rate of 14.4% from that alignment ranks 6th among qualifiers, as well." Yes, he may want to go to a "Super Bowl" contender. Those teams may not have the $ to pay him. He would likely start on our line next to Oliver? Plus, perhaps playing for McDermott and Frazier will change his mind. Get him on a 2 year deal here. Let Phillips develop more as a rotational piece.
  4. I would like this addition. Good depth. I'm impressed with the depth we are amassing all-around. Last year we lacked starters at key positions (OL, WR, TE) and depth at others (secondary, LB). We are fixing those problems this year!
  5. I love the idea of getting the rivals/divisions closer. Will encourage out of town fans, better game day experience, and likely overall greater interest.
  6. this is like Eddleman's thumb injury. Just giving a vet some time off. Lets the rookie and Yeldon get work.
  7. this is bizarre. all is says is "an incident in 2017?" And all the scrutiny on Hill and then nothing. This comes out of nowhere. Perhaps just more ESPN coverage of Hill b/c everyone knows who he is despite Reed being a great player, but the NFL needs to control the messaging better.
  8. eh. I can't stand Brady, but it was smart of him to hold her, otherwise she could have jumped too-close. As for him "dragging her," that's the point of holding her, to make sure she gets far enough away from the "cliff" during the jump.
  9. Wasn't Quinnen a bit of a one year wonder at Bama? I don't watch as much college football as most, but a bunch of mocks last year had Oliver as the #1 pick. He may be better than Quinnen, who had the benefit of a loaded D.
  10. perhaps some middle-ground. Training camp bodies so Milano can ease his way back into it, and not be overextended too early?
  11. Bledsoe. Had a fun first year, and if it's a better deal than the Henry jersey, I'd do it. Can't lose either way, take the better deal ! Had Paup as a kid also. Don't know what I did with it, think I donated it to Goodwill. Wish I still had it. Would love a Kenneth Davis one!
  12. I wonder if this guy was even on our board. If the player/agent is creating the issue, that's ridiculous with the rookie wage scale. perhaps a dysfunctional marriage made for the enjoyment of Bills fans
  13. great signing. Secondary depth was missing about 2 years ago. Now, we have it. Very important.
  14. Who is this twitter poster. He ADMITS that Foster is the best WR, then suggests trading him because, well, others are making more?!?!? That's not how you win games. They'd trade Jones or Beasly first. But, keep them all. Depth is your friend!
  15. who was the guy we had, in the secondary, a few years ago pointing at the other player while the other team scored a TD? He basically gave up on the play.... that was a signature move right there.
  16. unless you are the NYJ's, or Oakland Raiders. They would overpay for a RB. There is always someone who will! Watching Bell get hammered this year will be satisfying. The Steelers line is the reason he was able to do his dance step, then forward move. May not have that time in NYJ. And won't have it when Oliver is coming for you! Same with Zeke. Dude has a great OL. Gordon, on the other hand, usually has a suspect OL. What would he look like behind a good OL.
  17. its treatable, generally with blood thinners, which create issues in a contact sport like football. could lead to uncontrollable bleeding, I think. I'm not a Dr, however.
  18. I think their backup Eckler performed decently last year. Gordon may have little leverage. Wonder what LAC would give for Shady, Gore, or Yeldon? I could see LAC going after Duke Johnson if Gordon holds out. Although the Browns likely don't want to trade him to someone they view as a possible playoff opponent. Ture, but that is an improving OL. I'd imagine Ekeler looks better this year. Pair Ekeler with Johnson, Shady, or Yeldon and you have basically what you have with Gordon. Perhaps even better due to injury bug that hits Gordon.
  19. is Fucillo still doing his "HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE" THING>?
  20. his rushing yards make him a starter by themselves, then consider the added weapons. Yeah, I"m taking him. Esp. in my 2 QB league. I think he finishes the year a top 10 Fantasy QB at worst.
  21. this. Allen needs to be healthy for a proper analysis. I think Extend happens with playoffs or a 10 win season even w/o playoffs. I think under 6 wins with a healthy team is hot-seat time.
  22. yeah, extending Foster might be smart if he continues to play well, same with Wallace.
  23. exactly. In the off chance that Ford is a bust, he will say, "I called it all along." If he works and is a stud, everyone will forget he made this ridiculous comment.
  24. I like our chances with either guy. Might actually be easier to play Eli. Lots of tape on him.
