  1. Look, if Fitz and Stevie connect on just one of those three opportunities they had in the last 30 seconds, we're talking about what a great coach he is for keeping this team together through all they been the past few weeks. Perspective Dude, Perspective.
  2. yeah! baby!!!!
  3. CJ is to TENTATIVE in running the ball as Trent Edwards was to TENTATIVE in throwing the ball!
  4. Yep! It's obvious at this point that Edward is in thick with Chan. At the end of the season, Nix will instruct Chan to fire him. And then we start over again. But, as a coach I told always anyone that will listen, I'm a lot smarter Coach when I have better players . . . funny how that works.
  5. Johnson needs to be resigned. If a top tier receiver is available in the draft, get him. If not, go for a very good free agent. But really, the desperate needs on this team are on defense: more help on the line, a legit pass-rushing LB or DE, a fast linebacker, and more help on the corners. But we really can't let Johnson walk, there are too many other needs to create another hole.
  6. CJ proved he's average at best, He'll have the rest of the season to prove me wrong, and I hope he does. Save for the bad penalty and drop, what will be lost in this game is that Stevie Johnson did pretty much own Revis Island today. He still has some maturing to do. That being said, the Bills can't afford to le him walk. Do we see how hard it is to get quality receivers. Ftiz missed fired on two game winning opportunities. He has to make those throws.
  7. 3 open receivers for TDs in the last 30 seconds, one drop, two miss fires . . . those plays have to be made!
  8. Best future NFL QB: RG3! Can run like Vick, can throw like Brees, P. Manning like work ethic, and as smart as Fitz! Draft him, let him learn, and the future is bright for a long time.
  9. I think it is an injury, he had actually been productive at times in the past few games; that is, as productive as one can say on this defense the last few games. Hopefully he'll be back soon.
  10. a bad day for Suh, he will get a few days compliments of the Commissioner.
  11. "What if CJ Succeeds?" = We'll all be happy! And say: "It's about time."
  12. I would say there are three on the Bills right now, unfortunately all three are now on the IR list: Kyle Williams, Fred Jackson, and Eric Wood . . . which of course, also explains one big reason why you go from 4-1 to 5-5.
  13. It'a now or never for CJ Spiller, no more excuses of not having the chance to prove himself.
  14. you lost me at "firstly"
  15. OK, everyone back in off the ledge
  16. you're just being a Debbie Downer. Bills win by two TDs!
  17. In light of the recent news, this needs to go back to the top of the list.
  18. I think you're going to get your wish.
  19. I hope all members of the TBD community have a blessed and relaxing Thanksgiving. Yes, our Bills may frustrate us--and they do bring us some happiness along the way, but given the fact that we can regularly jump on the internet and offer our feelings, good and bad, I would say that relatively speaking, we are all doing quite well. Way too many in this world have far bigger issues than how poorly the Bills Defense is playing. I would say, simply based on the fact we can log on here and do this, that all of us have been blessed and have much to be grateful for. Happy Thanksgiving! And, GO BILLS!!!
  20. We really had no choice, with the condition of this Defense, we had to take Darius--it was the right pick.
  21. I think I need an eye examine.
  22. I said this in another thread and I think it needs repeated here, and in every new thread about the draft: Draft players from big-time, winning programs. No more players from Richmond, James Madison, Bethany, South Dakota State, Troy, etc. Not that any draftee is a guaranteed success, but the likelihood of a player from Alabama, LSU, Texas, SoCal, Michigan, Florida, etc., being successful is higher than small college crap-shoot picks that we seen to be so enamored with. Yes, there will always be exceptions, but overall, and in the longterm success-to-failure ratio, I believe this is a change in draft philosophy that has to happen, and happen now!
  23. Wow! Why all the Darius hate? Look, he's not the league MVP, not even Rookie of the Year, but he has played well, and has all the tools to get better and be a dominant d-lineman for a long time. There are far bigger problems/issues with the Bills then him. He is the one #1 pick over the last few years that was truly worth his pick. Come on, use your energy focusing on real problems with this team . . . . there are many options to choose from, but not him.
  24. I would agree with, and add this other dimension to your perspective about the draft: Draft players from big-time, winning programs. Yes, there will always be exceptions, but overall, and in the longterm success to failure ratio, I believe this is a change in draft philosophy that has to happen, and happen now!
  25. I had the exact same thoughts/questions? The problem was known. If the job (one of the jobs) of a coach is to put people in a position where they can be successful, what happened here? It's not like this came from no where . . . just hard to fathom how an NFL team, including players and coach in this case, can consistently look so inept without something changing. I think most of the problems on offense yesterday can be directly attributed to this center-to-OB exchange. If a play cannot start right, it certainly will not finish right. Just untenable!
