  1. Was it Chan's fault when he slowed up at the goal line? - that play right there says all you need to know about CJ Spiller, that play pretty much sums up his short career in Buffalo. He is soft, not very smart (as a player) , and plays with tentativeness and fear. Sorry Bill, this outline is much more reasoned and more accurate than your rant above.
  2. . . . Jokers to the right, here I am, stuck in the middle with you . . http://youtu.be/DohRa9lsx0Q
  3. or David Nelson, or Nick Barnett, or Brad Smith, or CJ Spiller, etc.
  4. So you're saying we should be looking in NFL Europe?
  5. Speaking of Linebackers: Where has Morrison been? He's had great stats the past few years, I thought he'd be a solid addition to this team, is he hurt, or just not that good? He is rarely seen. Any answers?
  6. wow, that's pretty harsh . . . back to the thread, would you rather have Snachez then Fitz? I don't think so?
  7. I think he has really only had one strong performance all year -- unfortunately that was against the Bills. Yes, he has been in the right place at the right time. I have no doubt there are a bunch of other QBs the would make the Jets a better team. Regardless, for the Bills to beat the Jets, Sanchez or not, we have to stop/slow down their running game, force them to throw the ball, and do something with our own offense. if we can do that like the other teams that have beat them this year, we will have success.
  8. " It's the democratic approach when you think about it. " Democrats screw up everything. Time to get a Republican back in the White House! They'll fix the draft, giving the rich a better pick and less taxes (or easier schedule).
  9. I think we could use him as a corner back, there are some obvious needs there. Get him on the roster Buddy!
  10. and that is the point, there's a reason he's not on the field = he's just not that good, #9 pick or not
  11. or back to LG, with Urbik at center and Rhinehart at RG--where he played well earlier--really, any combo of those three will be fine. As long as one of the LT gets back.
  12. it was cute, and if she was my girl, I'd crawl all the way over there. .... just like I would be for honey (in case my wife is reading TBD posts).
  13. no, totally disagree .... however, this weekend will be the page turner, anther egg like yesterday, and then I would agree. This week with the fish will be a huge game in determining the direction of this team/season.
  14. Well, it doesn't help that 3 of your front 7 are injured (2 for good). Regardless, every team has injuries. Bottom-line: the talent is subpar, or inexperienced, and the lack of imagination and a vanilla scheme add up to what we saw yesterday. The Washington game was an aberration--the definition of insanity: "Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." Be creative, do something!!!
  15. "4) Will just ONE supporter of the Spiller selection come forward and tell me that he is a bust. Yes, a 100%, total, complete bust. It's OK to admit it. Look, I thought that Rob Johnson was going to be a great quarterback. Just step up if you will. Or, defend him some more." I was roasted for saying in the pre-season that Spiller was fast approaching the Maybin bust line. But you all we right, Spiller is now well below it, at least Maybin is getting on the field and giving some production in NY.
  16. It isn't working, hasn't worked, and there is no reason it will change. Cut your losses. And by the way, does he know what a blitz is? you know, what Dallas did to us all day?
  17. Bills went to four SBs with much better talent
  18. "Nothing is over until we decide it is!" and if you don't believe me, watch this: http://youtu.be/MsmybQKpmTw
  19. Pats!
  20. Good analysis by both of you. Well, we have to get to 10 wins to have any hope, and 11 might not get it done--depending on the variable of the other teams outcomes and who beats who. Those variables are uncontrollable, but what the BIlls can control are their games. Nevertheless, I like our chances if we take care of the games we should, and sneak one out at NY or NE. Bottom-line, we have to get one of them, and I would say it probably has to be the one that loses this week in their head-to-head match up. Of course, the best case is to beat both, but that will be extremely difficult. If I were a betting man, i would say we (the Bills) have better odds against the Pats then Jets. Regardless: Just Win!
  21. I have always wished we could see a bigger view, even end zone perspective would help. Hopefully someday they change their minds.
  22. yep, the D was good enough...actually better then the Pats, Raiders, or Eagles game. And, I think it is getting better. Washington was a start, showed some positives today, did what they could to keep us in the game--which we were until that last TD No offense is why we lost, but I think the good news is, that was an aberration. This offense is better, much better, than it showed today. Good things still to come.
