"Against Todd Haley:
CG: It's not a Todd Haley coached team, somewhere that fired ya, you'd be lying if you said it didn't mean a little bit more. Everybody umm so umm there is a little bit of something, but to say its not there, i'd be lying."
You know he wants to kick his a#$%@#$# up and down the field . . . let's hope he does
Bottom-line, if our defense is improved, and plays well, we can win (and I, for one, think it is) . . . without them, another long season.
For this team: "Defense wins games!"
Interesting, if Heard rotates in at end when Dareus and Williams are in, our two ends will dwarf our NT . . . that would be one tough line to run against
Here I (we) go again . . . going down the only road I've ever known
http://youtu.be/i3MXiTeH_Pg
An' here I go again on my own
Goin' down the only road I've ever known,
Like a hobo I was born to walk alone
'cos I know what it means
To walk along the lonely street of dreams
An' here I go again on my own
Goin' down the only road I've ever known,
Like a hobo I was born to walk alone
An' I've made up my mind
I ain't wasting no more time...
"You play to win the game" (Herm Edwards). You do everything you can to win every game you play, until you've lacked down a bye week for the playoff's, you "play to win the game" in whatever way it takes.
And I would bet Heard's play in the pre-season also was a factor in this move. With his development, there is room to experiment with Jasper.
Well, whatever prompted it, I thinks its a good try--nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Again . . . Hummm? sign with a team that has a legitimate chance to go to the Super Bowl, or go to Buffalo? What would I want to do?
Call me crazy, but I'd want to go the SB quality team.
Per Tim Graham, this is the site of a new AFC East blog: http://www.afceastdaily.com/
It started this week, nothing big, too early to make any assessment of it, but seems to be worth watching.
