  1. Just enjoy a great win for a day or two
  2. Roosevelt and Aiken should both come up, Parrish hurt, Martin just not any good
  3. OK, time to go take my heart medication . . . I thought a Raider had the ball in the end zone pile at the end. GO BILLS !!!!
  4. Fitzgibbons is the perfect QB for a no-huddle: brian in general, and football brains, makes quick decisions, spreads the ball around, athletic enough, etc. . . . hummmm, everything Trent was not. It would not surprise me at all to see the Bills go to the no-huddle at times today; that is, beyond the trying to score at the end of the half or game variety).
  5. Anyhow, thanks to Chronic and Bump for adding some spice to the DB, we've been boring each other with each other lately on here; nothing like a good brouhaha to add some excitement. Should be a fun game today, especially when the Bills win. Good luck the rest of the season Raider Nation. GO BILLS!
  6. I just thought you were a long lost Buffalo Braves fan . . Ernie D, Bob McAdoo, etc., those were the days, and probably the last time the franchise that is the Clippers made it to the play-offs.
  7. The key words of your entire argument: "last year." Let's see how they compare after tomorrow.
  8. The only thing I would confidently say the Raiders have an edge in is their D-line versus our O-line, other than that, I would say the Bill are equal in the run game, and better in everything else. Just saying!
  9. He lines up in the deep back (?) position on a punt, I think he gets the direct snap and goes for a first down this week.
  10. "what should I do?" = get better friends
  11. Chandler to the Prp Bpwl!!! And still efforting those Sam Chandler jerseys, that @#$%$#@ Bills marketing department.
  12. The wrong name is bad enough, but did you read some of the dribble coming out of Raider-nation in the comment thread . . . I hope those boyz get their yard time back
  13. Music City Miracle . . . I think we all kind of knew the ride was coming to an end, that play was an exclamation point, and one in which we are still feeling the effects of today. And it was not just that play, it was the decision to start Johnson (granted, he played well enough that day, but it's what it meant to the team thereafter). I'll go to my grave not understanding why they played Rob Johnson that game over Flutie--I think one of the all-time bonehead coaching decisions in the history of the NFL. The play buried the season, the move buried the franchise, and it's still digging out.
  14. Thanks much, knowing the historical and cultural context of those events give better understanding.
  15. agreed, don't we play the Raiders this weekend? Jump off the Pats bridge when come to it, but we've got another one to navigate before we get to that one.
  16. Although most of the national media will not acknowledge it--or maybe more accurately: just doesn't know because they really don't do their homework; they perceive based on who they think is suppose to be good--right now, Fitz is in the top third of the league as a quarterback. Yes, there are some out there that we would take over him in a heartbeat, but not the majority. With his intelligence, moxy, leadership presence, and, yes, even physical ability, he is a legitimate NFL quarterback, and better than most starting at that position in the NFL now. I like what we have behind the center, this team can win with him.
  17. Did Morrison play Sunday, I really don't remember seeing him . . . he may have, I just can't recall ???
  18. dang, those were some bad wings
