  1. got me! and I laughed out loud, again!
  2. good, I just turned 50
  3. The Giants are now cursed! You don't mess with Fitzmajic and not get burned
  4. I would do it for a 4th - so in essence, we would have traded Evans for Lloyd. Lloyd is more versatile, bigger, stronger, and he can still stretch the field (which is what the Bills need most right now). And even if it is only for this season--he'll be a free agent--worry about next year next year; plus, all the injured people will be back.
  5. I think these two make us so much more athletic at the LB position, and add Chris White whom is back practicing, its even better--he was the one that looked the best in pre-season. The future is bright.
  6. And didn't I see where they just signed Ellis Lankster . . . funny, the second Bills reject the Jets have signed this season, and both defensive players as well. The world is being turned upside down. Link
  7. I think the screen touchdown by Jackson was the worst, Duff ID four, I saw in real time and the replays at least two blocking in the back -- the one a reach and trip the defender. And it does seem that Merriman gets mugged a lot. Hopefully the Bills are filing reports with the league.
  8. I'll say this, in watching my DVR rerun, our Defense look far more athletic with Sheppard, Moats, and Carrington, then it had the previous weeks --- I think it will only get better, than again, I guess it only has one direction to go. Well, my point, I think the tools are there, just need the experience and execution.
  9. espn - 6 fox - 8 BR - 4 = 6 And why do all the national media types keep calling David Nelson a TE, "The Bills are for real on both sides of the ball, as they showed in Sunday's 31-24 win over Philly. Defensively, they give up a lot of yards, but are opportunisitc in creating turnovers. Offensively, Ryan Fitzpatrick is the perfect QB to orchestrate Chan Gailey's offense, and RB Fred Jackson and WR Stevie Johnson are augmented by a couple of pretty good TEs" (from the Fox report above)? And the FOX crew called him that several times in there broadcast Sunday.
  10. Do an internet search, posting it here will only work against the process. Check out this thing they have now called "Google."
  11. I like FredEx, because he does deliver!
  12. I think we're capable--Cincy game notwithstanding--but I think the injuries at wideout are the biggest hindrance now. Deep throws involve a lot of timing and coordination9 I.e. practice), and even if we do bring in someone with the speed to create separation (which we don't have with the current list of WRs), it will still be a challenge. I think we'll see the short pass and read stuff we're seeing now more than not.
  13. and probably more than fair
  14. I couldn't hear her either, must be something wrong with her audio set up
  15. yes I did, and lets hope Freddy is influencing him! The one time, I actually thought it was Jackson base on the effort and style. If CJ starts emulating FJ, it will be a good thing for all involved.
  16. We Bills fan are naturally suicidal, we come by it honestly
  17. Actually, I was listening to the Eagles radio network for the first half (driving), and their announcers were very complimentary and fair to the Bills . . . basically saying many times, the Bills are the better football team. And lets face it, he does have one of the best radio voices in football. great idea, how do you do that?
  18. Yeah, Pears was the guy who had to block Babin most of the day, and did an outstanding job, as he has all season . . . pretty soon he'll be holding out for that money the Bills were willing to pay Clabol.
  19. And you wonder why I avoided every stat class I could in college and grad school. Still not sure what any of this says, accept that the Bills are first . . . I think that's good, based on the stats and all.
  20. Disagree a bunch! Not sure what your expectations are for the wildcat, but it has been successful 80% of the time . . . first downs, touchdown yesterday. Now, if you expect a Homerun every time, well, then I would suggest to be a bit more realistic. And as far as him taking a WR spot, he is also a back-up QB, special teams player, and WR. That argument is thin. I think his role will continue to grow. Not sure its fair to be down on him yet.
  21. Right, but good coaching is about putting people in position to be successful. So far this coaching staff has taken what they have and given it a scheme with which it can be successful. Moreover, the players have to execute. And this team (especially the o-line) has had the best combination of better than we thought talent, great coaching, and very solid play from all parts (QB, skill players, and the line). If we were built for a power running game, or deep passing game like Philly, we'd probably do that -- but it would be down right stupid to try and do that if you don't have the personnel for it. And, it is silly to evaluate it against those criteria, that's not who we are. The point: There are many ways to skin a cat, we've chosen the one that fits our tools. And its working quite nicely.
  22. yes, I totally agree, aggressive is good, keep it up
  23. that make no sense at all ????
  24. I saw him on one play late in the 2nd quarter where he pushed the Eagles center straight back 10 yards . . . Vick got rid of the ball, but he must have been a bit un-nerved seeing his center coming straight at him aaa$$$$$$ backwards at a high rate of speed. Hopefully he's not out, but if so, Heard will need to step up.
