  1. Or, to look at it another way: If he actually contributes, and the BIlls get something out of him, it's like a bonus now. Like finding a 20 dollar bill in pants you haven't worn in a while, it would be like an extra draft pick was found. GO MAYBIN!!!!
  2. NO!!!!! to Devlin, don't waste the ink . . . there are much better options out there
  3. As you know, the Bills lost several draft picks last year to early injuries. Although painful at the time (no pun intended), the good news is these are essentially like draft picks this year, but with a year of study and acclamation under their belt. So, it got me to thinking: Which 2nd year player that did not play last year, will make the biggest contribution this season? Danny Batton - LB Marcus Easley – WR Ed Wang - OT I think Easley is the obvious choice, but I have a good feeling about Wang cracking the starting line-up.
  4. hope he gets all he can, it will be his last endorsement deal
  5. good idea, I doubt it will add much time -- whatever time is added, will be where needed, to get a call right
  6. 15-1, can't see us getting the Pats in Foxboro on New Years Eve, we'll be resting too many starters for the play-off run
  7. Dear Veteran, the players do have a choice: they can choose not play football, pay the $30,000 tuition like everyone else, and work and get paid all they want at the local McDonalds. Being a college athlete is loaded with benefits and privileges the average student doesn't get. No one is exploiting them. Anyhow, please come back to reality soon. Thanks
  8. I would guess, either Pears or Wrotto are the two highest RTs on the depth chart right now. But I also think Wang is the wild card. We didn't see much of him last season because of the injury. Thus, he's like an extra draft choice this year, but with benefits -- the learning experience of one season = some practice, some conditioning, and lots of meetings and class/film room work. I will speculate, that if the Bills staff feels he's legit, there will be no major free agent RT candidates signed, and don't be surprised if he is the starting RT opening game.
  9. "It wouldn't surprise me if the guy is sand bagging in a way to get out of town . Sittin back collecting a check & probably a pretty good one , just waiting to get out of Buffalo." . . . . Really? How about this theory: He's just not very good! I hope he goes out and proves us all wrong, but I doubt he'll be on the roster come 9/11. I really do hope he is, but I just doubt it.
  10. That's a little harsh for Levi Brown, a free-agent practice squad 1st year QB--not sure he deserves this. And when did we trade him to the Cardinals?
  11. Yes! The Bills are not in a position to be letting one of their better players go. Especially from a unit that has to get better. Granted, he's not elite, but he's not bad. As has been pointed out, letting him walk, only creates another need on team with too many needs as it is.
  12. That is funny! More proof of how out of touch MSNBC is.
  13. If the Broncos make that offer, grab it and run like you stole something!!!
  14. The survey doesn't make sense. What about a question to boycott the entire Preseason. No fans at any preseason games, that would be saying something, and interesting to see. Anyhow, doesn't matter, when the season starts, we'll all be there.
  15. Thomas would be worth the investment, I'm not convinced any of the others are any better than what we have.
  16. Hate to be the Debbie Downer here, but news flash: The Bills will not sign any FA lineman, the starter will come from the current crew. They are young, and developing, I think will be better, it takes time. But don't expect them to land any new people, and I doubt they'll even seriously look. Our only hope is that the current options improve and make the line better.
  17. So would could he do with an athlete like Vince Young ???? Yeap! You hit the nail on the head. If these two breakout, we're in a good position for a play-off run. If not, same-old-same-old.
  18. Would love to get Vince Young if he becomes available, which it appears he will . . . he with Chan's creativeness, could be a lethal combination.
  19. Of ours, the only one worth fighting for is Poz. But go after Thigpen as a back-up.
  20. Why? He's pretty much the same thing as Fitz. Makes sense if you're a Super Bowl contending team, and all parties involved understand he is insurance. But a team like the Bills doesn't need insurance, they need a QB to develop. And as for him, if he's going to sit, he wants to sit on a team going places with a chance for the ultimate prize--those are teams that need insurance. Just don't see it, from either perspective.
