  1. This team needs defense, or more help on the o-line. If there are no worthy defensive players at the number three spot, trade down. A wide receiver in later rounds would be understandable, but not at number three.
  2. I like the first, but if we take a QB in the second, I would like to see the kid from Neveda - more athletic and bigger arm than Locker.
  3. You say: "As for Bowers, I don't know him from Fairley from Dareus - at least not well enough to make judgments - but I'll cross my fingers that the talent evaluators will find the right guy for this team." Yeah, they've done such a good job of it lately?
  4. and why would the Bills be a better situation for him ???
  5. "Myth #4) George Edwards is an NFL caliber DC. Edwards is in way over his head. He's never been an NFL DC." I don't disagree with your point, time to fire him, but we was a DC in Washington a few years ago.
  6. Every draft choice and free agent signing better be on defense!
  7. I just hope he doesn't screw everything up by playing well, and leading the Bills to a lopsided win!
  8. Buddy to Chan in the mensroom, "You're playing for next year now, play to lose !!!!!!"
  9. I agree, put it to the Jets and throw the game
  10. Well, a day later, a bad loss later, and 108 GM's later, here are the most resent results: 1 - Drayton Florence - DB [99 votes [19.37%] 2 - George Wilson - S [97 votes - 18.98%] 3 - Paul Posluszny - LB [90 votes - 17.61%] 4 - Donte Whitner - S [66 votes - 12.92%] 5 - Mansfield Wrotto - OT [53 votes - 10.37%] 6 - Shawne Merriman - LB [45 votes - 8.81%] Interesting, but not surprizing that Whitner is so low on the list. In the end, I don't think you keep both Wilson and Whitner, I would go with Wilson. Wrotto is good for depth (keep if the value is right), but hopefully will be replaced by an upgrade as a starter. Merriman is still a crap-shoot, and from what we've been reading, has no real interest in coming back unless he is given "an offer he can't refuse" - which he does not seem to be worth at this time. And, that McCargo got any votes????
  11. The Buffalo News (Bills Free Agents Ponder Future) has an article today outlining the current Bills eligible for Free Agency, and it also explains some of the issues related to keeping them. Who would you keep, knowing you can't get all of them?
  12. Great first swing MexicanBill, welcome to the board ... and if we get those first 3-5 picks, we'll be in good shape .... and any of those FA would be an upgrade
  13. getting him in the second round would be steal ... if he's there, he should be picked even if we take a linebacker in the first
  14. "good Christian boy, hard worker, his fiancee is a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, Has Nelson dropped anything yet?" It just gets better and better, I'm starting to get jealous of this kid.
  15. From Sal Maiorana (RDC): "Aaron Maybin played three snaps. But Maybin was dressed to kill post-game and was overheard having a pleasant chat about yoga with Mary Wilson, wife of Bills owner Ralph Wilson." And that's "how he rolls", hard not to like him, if you can't play good at least look good (and I wonder if he hooked up with Ricky after the game to discuss his yoga?) - just wish he could play football, something? anything?

  17. Watching the Redskins implode on national television this week has been rather fun to watch, in a twisted sort of way. It seems like an eternity since the first pre-season game when the Redskins routed the Bills - that's when the national media had Donovan McNabb as the league MVP and Shanahan was Coach of the Year, and of course, the Redskins were favorites to win the Super Bowl. At least that's the impression you got watching ESPN and the talking heads after the game. Moreover, the Bills looked like a badly coached JV team that night - Gailey even admitted he was slow on the play calling, not ready for the speed of things. But four months later, which team is going in the right direction? Which team has more promise? Which team is more fun to root for? The Bills get a lot of well-earned crap from the national media, but honestly, has there been a more dysfunctional team/organization in the NFL over the last 5-6 years than the Redskins? Who would you rather have as your coach right now: the arrogant Shanahan, or the mad offensive genius of your funny looking old uncle Chan? Or who would you rather have as your QB, the bewildered NcNabb, or the Harvard MBA-type guy dissecting defenses like it’s a first year Biology lab? In comparing where the two teams have gone since August, I'll take the Bill direction, no contest! GO BILLS!!!
  18. What has he learned from the Twitter incident?
  19. would certainly love to have the top two
  20. $180.000 will build you a mega church??? It might get you a nice size family room with a fireplace, mega church, NO!
  21. Not really convinced the Bills would draft a receiver that high, if at all, don't forget Marcus Easley, and he was getting rave reviews before he was hurt. Add to that the development of Johnson, Nelson, and Jones ... no, there are far bigger needs that WR. I do agree a solid tackle, or any top quality OL players, and all the defensive help they can get, draft or FA.
